The weekend starts here! Unfortunately, there aren't any Xbox Live Free Play Days titles to take advantage of over the next few days, but over 250 games are available as part of this week's Xbox Live sale, and there are plenty of new Xbox Game Pass titles to sample aswell. Here's what we're playing over the next couple of days:

It looks like I'll be playing a lot of Golf With Your Friends this weekend. My fiancée took a liking to it following its addition to Xbox Game Pass last week, and I've also had some really enjoyable online games with my friends over the past few days. The Worms course is particularly fun (and difficult), and I'm also surprised at how well implemented the hockey mode is. Lots of fun to be had with this one.
I'd like to try and spend some more time with Red Dead Redemption 2 this weekend as well. I've owned the game for some time now, and only scratched the surface of what it has to offer. At this rate, I might just be finished by the time Grand Theft Auto VI rolls around! Enjoy your weekend, folks.

I've been playing Golf With Your Friends (with my own friends) for a number of years now on PC. I've already got hours of entertainment from it, so when I found out the game had been released on Xbox Game Pass earlier this week, I downloaded it right away. I'm happy to report the console port is in a good state - I even went online and managed to take out a win on the Candyland courses.
Apart from a round of golf this weekend, I'm also considering trying out the new but old release, Saints Row: The Third Remastered. I've never really given this series a chance, so now might be the time to drop into the streets of Steelport and cause some chaos.

Hello. This weekend I’ve decided to get right into Alan Wake of all things. I’ve always wanted to play it and just never quite got round to it, but now it’s available on Xbox Game Pass so I’m diving in one episode per night until I’m done. And then, depending on how I like it, I’ll be firing straight into Quantum Break which has also somehow passed me by. Maybe I should go the whole hog and replay Control when I’m done as well. So many possibilities.
Elsewhere, my son and I are very excited to get started on Minecraft Dungeons and have been biding our time by making a concerted effort to actually “beat” Minecraft. We’ve found a stronghold, located its End Portal and are currently about three Ender Eyes short of activating it. Fingers crossed we’ll have that nasty dragon done in by Tuesday. Have a good weekend, pals.
Which Xbox games will you be playing this weekend? Let us know in the comments.

I think I may have to try out Golf with your Friends seeing as you it's been highlighted... Other than that it's Splatfest time for me on Splatoon 2 for Switch... Perhaps some more Forza Horizon 4 if I get time...
Have been enjoying Void Bastards on Game Pass this week so I will be playing that a bit.
I also got a phone clip for my controller and I have been having a blast playing Halo on my phone with the xCloud preview. I don't know if that novelty will ever wear off.
Metroid Fusion & Metroid: Zero Mission.
I just finished Mafia 3 last night, Great game.. Right now i just started playing some Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered.. After I'm done with the campaign i think i'm gonna dive into Monster Hunter World..
Been going through the Gears of War series again with a friend who's playing some of them for the first time. We just finished replaying 4 and 5, so now it's back to the beginning with Gears of War ultimate edition! Besides that, it'll be the Master Chief Collection. Have a great weekend everyone!
Finished up Old Man’s Journey and Brothers ( fantastic!) before they left Gamepass so now I’m continuing my journey Ori: Will of the Wisps. Just finished beating the spider and have two more wisps to collect. I’ve quickly come to the conclusion that I will not be achieving 100% in this game and will not be getting all the achievements 😅.
I played Streets of Rage 4 with my nephew the other day and had a surprising amount of fun playing with him so I decided to download it from Gamepass (seriously the value!). I’m curious to see if playing solo has the same magic.
Also will be representing #teamketchup in this Splatfest! Here’s hoping for redemption!
I am playing Fable Anniversary.
Fallout 3 (Games For Windows) - Haven't played for a few days and looking to get back into it.
Equalicious (Windows Phone) - Fun little puzzle game.
Monster Burner (Windows Phone) - Kind of okay so far.
Looking to wrap up Final Fantasy Adventure on the Switch this weekend, I feel that I am close to the end. Other then that game wise I will be playing a few Genesis games on my new Mega SG!
Also have AEW's PPV tonight as well.
Ima play halo battle royal
Just played "Can Androids Pray" since I bought it on the current sale. It's incredibly short but honestly one of my favorite games for narrative. If you want something that will make you think but comes with zero action I strongly recommend.
After finishing all of the major endings to Nier Automata, I finally jumped on Control. I’ve only completed the first couple of missions, but I’m really enjoying it. I can’t wait to see how it links to Alan Wake.
Bravely Default on 3ds. Animal Crossing on Switch.
