It's hard to believe it's been almost a decade since young Clementine's journey began in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead. The episodic series proved a massive hit back in 2012, spawning a variety of sequels and popular follow-up titles such as The Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands.
The game follows the story of ex-convict Lee Everett and eight-year-old girl Clementine in their quest to survive a sudden zombie outbreak. It drew high praise from critics and fans alike for its quick-time decision-making, well-developed characters and highly emotional story.
The first episode of The Walking Dead actually debuted for PC and PS3 on April 24, 2012 before jumping to Xbox 360 a few days later, and The Complete First Season was eventually ported to Xbox One in 2014. Today, it's best experienced via the all-encompassing The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series collection.
The series almost didn't get finished due to Telltale Games undergoing a "majority studio closure" just two episodes before the end of The Final Season in 2018, but under the guidance of Skybound, the crew was able to finish up the story on March 26, 2019, almost seven years since it first began.

The first season of this remains one of my favourite games of all time. If you haven't played it and you like story-driven games, you owe it to yourself to try it.
Special mention goes to The Final Season, which I personally think is the best entry since the first. A lot of love clearly went into its development, and it delivered a really good ending.
Not my thing.Zombies eat my neighbors?
Still my favorite Telltale game.
Funny, I just picked up Season 1 again on 360 and am about halfway through. Still really great story telling, surprised the game holds up as far as Telltale games go
Season 1 is only one I have played (so far). My plan is play rest on them as well.
These are on my radar.. so one day I will play them lol
