I've spent years ogling Halo, was fun watching anticipation build in the fan base and reading through differing opinions.
Infinite was my introduction to Halo, and campaign wise it was just flat out not very good. The gunplay was great, and...uh it..uh.
I'm to late to the party for MP, just don't enjoy it anymore, so I did miss out on some of it

I'm genuinely curious to see the final product, the first few trailers were underwhelming. The eyerolling PR speak from the leads didn't help.

@Banjo- It's an odd thing, I didn't buy my SX for gamepass, I wanted to build a fun library that was " in theory" only on Xbox. So with all these recent happenings at MS I have not bought anything for Xbox because I'm very concerned it's just going to PS eventually as well,.
With GP fans I think this is not any concern, they don't "buy" the games anyways. The investment risk is minimal because " They might think they don't actually own anything anyways"

@Beckerjr @Beckerjr Nice optimism, but if Bethesda doesn't put out a DLC that's widely loved with a MAJOR overhaul of basic Game systems that'll simply not happen.
This game has so so so many half assed systems, horrendous game design and world building it would take years to fix.

I've spent years watching patients react to internal and external stimuli that I am unable to see or hear.

I don't think they can put older CODs, it will eat up new COD sales. BLOPS2 was a best seller for awhile, and had attracted quite a community again.

You make a popular older COD free on GP and blow up the community with GP members, Warzone is free as well with newer COD features..... why spend 70-100

@EvenStephen7 Xbox has left me with very little faith over the past almost year.
I've simply just started buying it for the SteamDeck instead.
I will not invest in Xbox any further, at least not until they explain, with credibility, just what the heck is going on

That's so bizarre, this game seems like it would be so easy to market- HIGH END graphics- stellar motion capture, an eye catching title.

I still very much remember how good the 360 marketing was for games- Those GoW trailers were sublime

I'm going to continue making this argument, Bethesda management is abysmal and has been for years. It doesn't matter if it's the developer or publisher side.
Microsoft got hosed financially with the Bethesda purchase and we are seeing the fallout.
Add on MS inability to have a streamlined publisher division that is always teetering on chaos and this is the result......

There is a reason I have not touched my Xbox in 5 months.....

I'm sorry, but it really seems like Bethesda/Zenimax are not the most well oiled machine.
They seem to be badly run at times, with organizational development and key leadership stuck 15 years in the past/ while trying to implement changes to meet market trends.

I'm still really miffed Redfall was a disaster, was so excited to play Salems Lot the video game

I didn't grab Outriders until it was finished and I got it for less than a 10er brand new from Amazon. One of the funnest experiences I've had in a while. I loved it, really had a blast. I was desperate to find out how I could pay People Can Fly devs back. There wasn't an obvious bundle of DLC that I could splurge on, and I was worried that it had been long enough that I simply wasnt sure they were under the same Publisher, where any bonus might make it their way.
I sincerely wanted to reward the devs

Have not turned on my Xbox since the end of December, not bought any 3rd party on X. I really am concerned about ecosystem investment, their business plan is a tad confusing

Far Cry 2

For all those who didn't like Far Cry 2, well you're wrong.
You have terrible taste, cause Far Cry2 is brilliant.

I bought this for the Deck, there is a good game there but I'm not sure why it just was hard to play on such a small screen.

The UI is far and away my favorite thing, it absolutely blows PS out of the water. Also Far Cry 2, because Far Cry 2😁

So far the 1st party stuff has been just okay, but they've got some exciting stuff in the pipeline

I'm genuinely curious to see if the senior Bethesda staff have learned anything.
If they just plod along in identical fashion to Skyrim and Fallout 4 in how they approach post support, I think it will speak volumes........

@OldGamer999 Nintendo is gonna Nintendo, they are far too stubborn/protective of their brand(wii u disaster made that obvious- don't think it ever went on sale). I think Sony will further embrace PC quicker. It's a bizarre time in gaming for sure

@OldGamer999 As the exorbitant costs of game developing keep rising, what Xbox and Sony are doing makes sense. Honestly the alternatives are a lot less appealing.
