This time last week, Bethesda unveiled plans for the biggest update in Starfield history, adding a bunch of new features including better surface maps, new ways to customise gameplay and a 60FPS mode on Xbox Series X.
Something that was also mentioned was the ability to stick to a third-person camera during dialogue sequences, meaning you're not forced into the close-up angle that Starfield has perhaps become a bit infamous for.
Well, the good news is that it's apparently a transformative experience for many who have tested it so far - the update is currently available to PC players who have opted into the Steam Beta version. Here's what a few have had to say:
It should be noted that not everyone seems a fan of the new dialogue camera - for some, they feel the close-up camera offers a more immersive experience - but considering it's an optional feature, it's great to have the choice here!
You'll be able to check out all of Starfield's new features for yourself in just one week's time on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (as well as PC), with the next major update set to land on Wednesday, May 15th. Bring it on!
