@Kooky_Daisuke Hah! I watched Paragon Lost at an anime festival in Edinburgh a few years ago. It's surprisingly good. Certainly better than some of the very, very, very strange Japanese films we saw. I hope you enjoy it!
I've enjoyed playing the first two hours of this. After finishing Cyberpunk last night this is a welcome change of scene. While it was endlessly entertaining chopping off the heads of Night City villains it's nice to now explore a Tim Burtonesque world armed with a catapult.
@Medic_Alert I totally agree. It is nice to see developers engaging positively with the people who will buy and play their game but "the fans" already seem to have a particularly acute sense of entitlement theses days.
Looking forward to this. I didn't start this until the recent XS update. Despite some obvious technical quirks I think this is a superb game. It's a shame it was originally released in such a shabby state as what the devs accomplished in the time they had was actually impressive (horrible crunch culture notwithstanding).
I played Weird West for about three hours on Friday evening. I did enjoy playing it but it couldn't compete with my itching to get back to play Crusader Kings 3. Which is just brilliant.
Excited to play this, Dishonored is probably my favourite game series, hopefully this shares some of that pedigree. I'll try this out tonight. Though as others have noted, I'm also just starting to get hooked on Crusader Kings.
@OliverOwen Same here! I'm really looking forward to playing this but everything they've shown of the game looks to be more of the same Visually at least, it doesn't appear to be any different from SE4. I'm not one to get my trousers in a twist about frame rates and such, so as long as the general gameplay has had a bit of a polish then I'll be happy.
Great review as always. I'm looking forward to playing this. There are so many games stuffed with content, it's nice to see an increasing variety of games offering a smaller, more focused experience.
Cyberpunk, Hitman Trilogy and OlliOlli World. First time playing Cyberpunk. I found it very hard to get into with a cumbersome UI and some motion sickness. But further play has been very enjoyable. Lots of weirdly likable characters, and an interesting narrative. I recommend trying it out, ignore the over the top outrage, it's actually a good game.
This looks soooooo good. The devs have really nailed this game. Can't wait to start playing. While it would be great to see it on Gamepass, it's good to support games like this and it's only 25 quid!
I love Flight Sim and I really like it's very "pure" presentation but it does feel like it's missing a more welcoming career mode. It doesn't help that I've played a lot of Forza Horizon which, compared to Flight Simulator, has the relentless energy of a sugar fuelled hyperactive child.
@clvr You speak the truth. I used to like reading comments in the US Gamer site (now defunct, sadly) as they were always good natured and nobody seemed to take offence at the airing of an opinion different to their own. Also I'm surprised anyone with any sense would feel compelled to leap to Musk's defence. He's got a well publicised habit of abusing his wealth and power and can certainly look after himself.
Why is criticism now regarded as "haters gotta hate!" It should possible to question a person's ethics or behaviour without being accused of blinkered hate mongering.
I was making good progress on Mass Effect and then the Hitman Trilogy was added to Gamepass. Now I'm knee deep in corpses. I've enjoyed all the previous Hitman games but the most recent series has been exceptional. A complete nightmare for completionists though.
@Wakkawipeout Good call! I'd like to see Morocco or Cairo. I was doubtful that Mexico would be as interesting as previous locations but it was a superb choice. The game really showcased the country.
Going through the list I'd forgotten how many of these games I've played and really enjoyed. Of the ones mentioned I would say Disco Elysium, Untitled Goose Game, Death's Door and Artful Escape are among the best games I've played. I also recommend Lonely Mountains: Downhill.
Can't wait to dive into these games once I've finished the Halo campaign. Although I did spend an hour this morning creating a series of increasingly ugly Shepherds. 😄
Chaos Theory is one of my favourite games. The level design and the slick, subtle controls are superb. The music and sound design is excellent too. I think it's easily one Ubisoft's best games.
@eagletrippin You can use any USB keyboard, Mac or PC, even really old ones. You can pick a second hand one on eBay super cheap. I dug an old Mac keyboard out if the loft for this.
Great interview, chaps! The team making this sound very thoughtful and creative, I hope their game's a success, I'll definitely be playing this on launch day. Also nice to hear Gamepass getting positive reports from devs. So many subscription services seem to be very exploitative of the people providing the actual content.

I had a marathon session on ME2 today. I'd never played this before. I can see why it's such a highly regarded game.
