It's time for another round of Pick One! This weekend, looking ahead at what's to come in February 2022, we thought we'd highlight three of the biggest Xbox releases of the month and see which of them you're most excited for.
We've obviously got Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring on the way as paid single-player releases, while CrossfireX's single-player campaign is also a paid release — the multiplayer aspect, however, will be free-to-play.
Remember you can only pick one!
Let's take a look at what we're working with:
Dying Light 2 (February 4th)
The virus won and civilization has fallen back to the Dark Ages. The City, one of the last human settlements, is on the brink of collapse. Use your agility and combat skills to survive, and reshape the world.
CrossfireX (February 10th)
A legendary PC franchise comes to Xbox in a fast-paced first person shooter offering a variety of exhilarating multiplayer experiences and a cinematic campaign that explores the global conflict between the world’s two most formidable private military factions.
Elden Ring (February 25th)
Rise, Tarnished, and be guided by grace to brandish the power of the Elden Ring and become an Elden Lord in the Lands Between.
Let us know which of these games you'll be buying in February 2022 below.

The game I am most interested for February is Edge of eternity.
And I will be playing none of them anywhere close to launch, if at all. Special shout out to Dying Light 2, which seems like it is a completely unfinished game with a slow drip of base game content shattered into a thousand DLCs, just like the first one.
To be honest, none of these are on my most wanted for February and I haven't got any plans to buy any of them. I'm likely to be playing Horizon: Forbidden West anyway...
Elden Ring looks to be super. Shame CrossfireX isn't on game pass with the campaign as it looks fun but I'm not convinced it's going to be worth the price it'll come with.
I'd also add Olliolli World Looking forward to that as well
None. Sorry, none my jam. Will be playing Hitman, Halo, and Gears 2.
Olli Olli World!
Possibly Eldin Ring
Battlecakes. Google search still points to "2021"
Agent Intercept: Have a young son who will love this. Not sure when it'll come to Xbox.
Still playing Halo. Just finished Lake and Hoa. Might play a little Code Veronica that was on sale last week for $3.99.
I’m most looking forward to The King of Fighters XV. That game looks fantastic!
The top 4 games I'm looking forward to in February aren't on this list (for obvious reasons)
Horizon Forbidden West
Monark
Atelier Sophie 2
Edge of Eternity
But, I'm holding off buying dying light 2 for now just in case it comes to gamepass at some point this year, if it's not come by Christmas then il get it cheap in a sale. With elden ring I do want to try it but I know i won't get very far due to its difficulty, maybe il rent it just to give it a go until i turn into the hulk from frustration
@Halucigens Yes! I love the look of this. This is going to be a rare non-Gamepass purchase for me.
Although I won't be getting any of them, I am most excited for Dying Light 2. I'm just curious on how it'll do, and I have my doubts about it, but also pretty hopeful it'll turn out great! Can't justify getting games at full price (unless they're special) especially with how great a deal Game Pass is.
I'm most excited for Elden Ring, but Souls games are not usually for me, so I'm on the fence and gonna wait for player feedback before deciding to punish myself!
Horizuhhhh.. Elden Ring!
@Barry_Biscuits Yeah I’m getting the deluxe version. The first two were like 2D tony hawk combo fest. I love that they fleshed it out.
Elden Ring for me on Xbox. Will wait to see what the reviews are like for Dying Light 2.
Other: The King of Fighters XV.
Pretty hyped for Dying Light 2, really hope the reviews are solid. Haven't followed Elden Ring enough to know what all the fuss is about.
@munstahunta Me too. I miss a good ol' RPG. I'm super excited about both Eiyuden Chronicles games. I hope Hundred Heroes is very similar to Suikoden, and not just in visuals. I'll be playing Rising as soon as it drops.
Sorry, it’s a weak month for me on the Xbox front. Might do Dying Light if the reviews make me excited, but otherwise I have no interest in Elden Ring unless we find out it’s considerably more user friendly than any Souls game has ever been.
Dying Light 2. Mainly because not enjoy dying 50 million times just to advance 5 mins in the game. So elden ring is no go for me.
Is Crossfire X actually coming in 11 days? We've barely heard ANYTHING about it. Weird/ low expectations.
1. HFW
2. Elden Ring
3. Dying Light 2
4. Sifu
5. Edge of Eternity
6. OlliOlli World
7. Life is Strange Remastered
@isturbo1984
Exactly this
My February will be filled by Horizon Forbidden West. Of the 3 on there the one I'd be up for is Elden Ring but when after watching gameplay I can't decide if it's more Souls or Sekiro/Bloodborne, hopefully it's more the latter.
Elden Ring, and as it comes out on my Birthday I think I will treat myself.
I'm definitely excited for Elden Ring. I'm super new to Souls-like games and this seems like it's gonna be a real refinement of the genre.
