Started Cyberpunk 2077 this week and it seems pretty special. I'm taking it nice and slow and still haven't the foggiest idea of what I'm doing but Night City has endeared itself to me already.

My experience has been solid thus far on PS5. No distracting glitches or technical issues whatsoever and yeah it isn't the most generation defining graphical showcase but it also isn't ugly and the gameplay and world they've built is excellent. Fantastic so far 👍

I have the use of both my ears this week which is welcome. Made a start on Assassins Creed Origins this week and also started Quantum Break. Thinking of taking a break from GoW Ragnarok for a bit as it was starting to drag. Atomfall is fast approaching too so may very well be after i'm done with that.

It just isn’t hitting the same at moment and has ebbed and flowed for a couple of years now. My other life commitments are full on currently so maybe one day things will ease off and I’ll find more joy in my hobby. Take care 👍

@themightyant @Kaloudz I appreciate you both bringing some positivity and the hard facts as always. I can’t say I’m not worried about the future of the hardware side and I’m not sure I fully trust Phil for whatever reason but my gut tells me to stay the course despite feeling quite reactionary yesterday and thinking about only sticking to PlayStation.

For clarity I feel I’ve been heading towards the exit of gaming regardless of platform for a while now, I’m finding the modern landscape has lost its lustre for me in a lot of ways. So yes, definitely a me problem. Happy gaming friends 👍

@themightyant Aw no way, sorry mate I couldn’t be more help. The Sukhothai area seems to have the most technical issues of any of the main areas. The pop in was especially frequent throughout my time in the area and item locations were bugged to all hell.

@themightyant I initially thought this was locked out for me too but I was able to hand in codes at the main village area dock, it was the only one that would register post game.

My controller has succumbed to a toddler attack and is currently broken so I’ll be dipping into Grim Idle and Vampire Survivors as they don’t require the right analogue stick 😂 I also started God of War Ragnarok on PS5 in the week and that is rather brilliant so far.

I’ve been playing Sniper Elite Resistance which is fantastic if a little tough, not one to play when tired. Sprinkling in some Humanity which is wonderful, grabbing all those goldys is addictive.

@Kaloudz I think it is the third level for me where the difficulty suddenly spiked and I’ve been awful. Still a brilliant game but it sure punishes you for being sloppy.

That Direct was something wasn’t it? Got me really excited for Xbox in the run up to Summer.

With Spider-Man 2 and its platinum firmly in the rear view mirror I can safely say I don’t need any more Insomniac or superheroes for a good long while. If I do get any gaming time I’ll be edging closer to 100% in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, absolutely love this game even if some of the collectibles and icons are a mess.

Toiling away at the remaining Spider-Man 2 trophies. I finished the story last night and have to say my brief increase in enthusiasm was defused at little as I thought the finale was a bit of a let down. Ok game overall, will be glad to have it done with.

On Series X I’m making good progress in Indiana Jones, currently exploring the delightful Siam. I’ve taken a really long time with this game and loved every second of it.

With the exception of rockstar who on the whole release games in a fairly solid state, the industry must be having a laugh pushing that high in the world of we’ll patch it later “AAA” game development. Frankly ridiculous
