Metro 2033 Redux Gets 100% Discount On Xbox To Celebrate Anniversary

I just grabbed it via GoG. Already had the game on Steam, but couldn't pass up the opportunity for a second copy where I can download the offline installer.

Can't argue with free. I'll never play it. But I just gotta have it lol.

Will keep an eye out! Amusingly it isn’t free on PSN but does appear to be discounted to $4.99.

@Kaloudz I’d say this is the best of the series but if Exodus bored you, not sure if this would be up your alley either.

@awp69 I don't know. If this is more bite sized than Exodus I might gel with it but it was the setting more than anything that just didn't excite me.

It lets me install it but it doesn't let me own it.

Grand I'll give it a download played the original on 360 it's a really good game just because it's free doesn't mean it's not worth playing!

Oh whilst I have you, I've created a new account on Xbox "The Kaloudz" I no longer use the old one. I am getting round to adding folks from my old account to the new account this week.

Devs on X say they’re looking into it. It definitely was meant to be free but they set it up incorrectly.

@tacosharko @Ricky-Spanish I had to break a nasty mental habit that was making gaming not really enjoyable. Since starting afresh, as daft as it may sound lol, I feel somewhat liberated.

@deadmaker Yeah that's what I thought but Fraser and awp69 says that that isn't the case so hopefully they fix it so I can cheapskate and get something for free

@AgentCooper Lol! Glad it wasn't just me. My account was like 15 years old and had no end of games, but I wouldn't touch them due to GP. Ridding myself of the account means I can just stick to GP and not spend time playing GP whilst thinking of another game on my profile (that I would never have got round to playing anyway). Clean break and I feel so much better for it. Thanks man

@Kaloudz A sound strategy mate. I often pause my subscriptions to focus on my backlog as otherwise it just becomes paralysing 😂

Still not working.

It seems to be letting people install the game but not actually purchase it. It will be interesting to see if this gets fixed by tomorrow.
