Well outside of Halo, probably only played 3 games from xbox one onwards that werent back compatibility titles as i most play on PS and Switch. Only xbox game on the list thisyear is Starfield

I mean for some people they are not wrong. Ill probably grab Harry potter on PS5 and wait on Starfield at a later date. Assuming both of these games actually get released this year. But also Forspoken is in Oct so its about timing

@Chaudy xbox seems to live on the hype. They have some exciting prospects in Fable 4, Avowed, State of Decay 3, Perfect Dark, Elder scrolls 6, Outer Worlds 2
But were announced years ago with no info at all since announcing. God some of these were announced when i was in college still lol

Congrats but of the games i played above, Halo, Deathloop and Psychonauts, i only finished Halo which was kinda a let down for me. Only one on my list for xbox that has a date is Starfield

Given Microsoft’s tendencies of not releasing anything for the first 9 months of the year, they would be holiday 2023 at the earliest. I dont see Perfect Dark as we have heard nothing but issues with staffing, developing and having to bring in crystal dynamics. That has me skeptical

Guardians was probably my game of the year. Recommend to check out. Not super long at roughly 15 or 16 hours and a rare linear game in todays AAA releases

Well my 3 xbox only friends as tradition said they wont play the game unless its free with gamepass so theres that as well.

@Royalblues dont know if they could buy sega. Its a Japanese company who would not want hostile foreign takeover. Moreover they are in a good position financially unlike Platinum Games who is about to go under likely. Thirdly their games players are on Playstation/Nintendo so u would likely face opposition there and potentially kill franchises

When is the last time Xbox release anything in the first half of a year. Seems like they always just release stuff at the holiday season together

I miss the experience for wins that go towards your rank like halo 3. In terms of getting people to play objective, i feel that was great in helping towards that. But yeah i dropped off another 343 Halo very quick

I cant say Microsoft doesnt buy IP. Sony buys teams for the talent to make games and developer talent is more important in the end then IP. But then again Microsoft doesnt have financial constraints so who knows, but hope not

Need better gamepass stats. How long are people actually playing and are games being finished. Also hard to hit when you take out playstation sales.

They need to put some new back compat titles on sale. Portal games, kingdom keflings or blinx would be nice

No the Xbox one runs so poorly and takes forever to do anything. The series s finally makes it not frustrating to actually play on an xbox
