You might have heard about a game called Babylon's Fall in passing — it's out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC today, but unfortunately there's no sign of an Xbox version... at least not just yet.
It's developed by PlatinumGames of Bayonetta (and Scalebound) fame, and it's a cooperative action RPG described as a "brand new take" on the developer's "critically-acclaimed signature combat".
So, what about a Babylon's Fall Xbox release date? As revealed in a recent trailer, Babylon's Fall could potentially release for Xbox as soon as September 2nd, 2022, so may we might not have to be waiting all that long.
The game feels like it's struggled to generate much hype thus far, probably because some of the previews haven't been too great. Perhaps the wait will be good for Xbox players, and it'll be a more fine-tuned experience later this year.

i watched Playstation Access (they're great, i highly recommend their channel) do a let's play, and the game looked....fine? pretty generic though, nothing stood out really. i'm guessing it will get 6s and 7s.
I’m going to assume this isn’t getting the reception they wanted if they are literally leaking the exclusivity date.
I love Platinum Games, but this looks like a free to play and not even a good one. I’d much rather play Warframe or Genshin Impact than pay $60 for this.
Off topic but Has anyone been able to pre install Guardians of the Galaxy on Xbox? For some reason I can't find it on the xbox app
Yeah, the reviews or reviews in progress for this have not been good. Most say it’s got that good Platinum Games combat but it’s very grindy and boring. Might download the demo on my PS5 but won’t be spending $60 on this.
@Chaudy It's not easy but there is a way! Stay tuned...
@FraserG thanks looking forward to it
Saw a reviewer saying it's the worst game they've played in at least 5 years (worse than Balan), so I think Xbox will live
Eh, I played the demo on PS5. And truthfully, it sucked from beginning to the end. Looked like it came from the PS3-era…
Well from all the previews not missing any thing even platinums combat can't save it,boring and grindy with live service stuff.
Think square would of learned from avenger's. Here's hoping strangers of paradise is good.
Even if this wasn't terrible as appears it will be it will flop, stupid time too release with big hitters like elden ring, horizon 2 and gran turismo 7 out.
This game is going to 100% bomb.
I expect to see it on Game Pass later in the year. LOL
Not promising reviews from what I have seen. This will probably be a Gamepass title. Ponies can pay $70 for free to play trash.
Does anyone want this title?
You’re not missing much
I've got the game on playstation 5 and I would reccomend you to avoid this when it comes to xbox, the visuals are seriously outdated to a point where its on par with ps3/360 dragons dogma graphics and the voice acting is atrocious. The gameplay also gets boring after a while and it's got a main focus on battle passes with daily quests which is slow to level up, all that and it costs £60. This is the worse game from platinum games and should of been a free to play game.
If 'a brand new take on their critically acclaimed signature combat' means not including said signature combat then this atrocity has succeeded. Utterly abysmal game.
Don't worry guys. Seeing a few reviews and you ain't missing out.
A rare bust of a game looks like from a high tier dev like Platinum Games. Must be a new studio in the company or something working this, while the main devs are still working Bayonetta 3 as well as "Project G.G".
Imagine paying for the exclusivity rights to that F2P grindy…. Thing.
Waste of money on Sony's part. Xbox owners don't seem to really be missing out on much with this.
