What happened to F2P Division Heartland? 🤔

It’s not live for me 🙄 tried restarting Xbox, launching game etc. Maybe it’s not live in every region yet? 🤔

I played the base game on Series X and enjoyed it, though I never quite finished it. With all the 2.0 changes I think I’m going to start a new play through so I can appreciate all the new perks, skill trees, improvements etc.

I’ve never played Gotham Knights so that’s a nice addition. Just a shame it’s being added during a busy release window meaning I probably won’t get time to play it.

1) it’s not a “pro” version of Series X
2) no disc drive

….2 reasons I won’t be buying it.

I’ve been playing since last Monday (early access) and am loving it so far. It’s great fun and the island/graphics are gorgeous, even in performance mode. My only gripe (nitpicking really) is that fast travel is locked until you’ve completed 10 playlists, which is quite a few races. Ubisoft have a good track record of post launch support on most of their games, so I expect to be playing this for quite a while.

Although it’s only a patch and not a new game, I’m looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 ver 2.0 (dropping Thur 21 Sep). Will probably start a new play through for this.

Starfield (XSX) I got the Razorleaf Ship during the week, and even managed to add some new bits to it like extra cargo space and extra fuel tanks. I’m quite enjoying the game but I wouldn’t (yet) say I’m loving it.

The Crew Motorfest (PS5) Been playing this since Monday and having an absolute blast. Lots to do and gorgeous graphics. Already better than the first 2 games, despite a smaller map.

Pikmin 4 (NS) Probably my most played Switch game of the year, yes, even more than TOTK. Love the way the game drip feeds you everything, and you can just play the game at your own pace.

I know a lot of people are applauding AC going “back to its roots” in Mirage, but personally I loved the huge open worlds and RPG elements of Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla. I daren’t think how many hours I put into those 3 games alone 😂

The only issue I really had with the game was slow loading textures in some areas. Has this been fixed? I’ve deleted the game now to make room for Starfield.

I’m torn between performance and performance RT. Will try out both and then decide.

Wait, what? Not content with a huge skill tree there are also powers to unlock?!? Oh boy…this game is gonna keep me busy for a long, long time!

What a few months in store for petrolheads - The Crew Motorfest, Forza Motorsport, and EA Sports (Codemasters) WRC 23. Let’s gooooooo!

Definitely getting Crew Motorfest - it will be a good game to break up my Starfield sessions 😂 I played the beta and enjoyed it.

I must be lucky because I’ve had no issues with QR and Starfield. I’ve used QR almost every day since early access launch and haven’t had any crashes, audio bugs etc.

You have to be a pretty sad, pathetic person to review bomb a game just because it doesn’t appear on your console of choice.

@DennisReynolds how on earth have you time to play both? 😱 I wanna play BG3, but don’t feel like I can fully invest in it whilst playing Starfield. Will pick it up at a later date.

How do you get the Exterminator Modified Calibrated Pacifier? You’ve listed it above but not how to get it.

I remember picking up the “secret outpost” note, in fact I think I came across 2 🤔 this quest was on my to-do list (one of many!), though will make it a priority mission now. Thanks 👍

Starfield. Obviously. Have just arrived in New Atlantis. If I can drag myself away from Starfield then it will only be for Pikmin 4.

Only played a few hours last night. NGL, I’m a little bit underwhelmed by it so far, BUT it’s very early days. I spent far too long on my character’s background (skills) and traits 😂 gunplay is very average, but have heard it gets better. Constantly running out of ammo is annoying. Haven’t visited any cities yet, or indeed my “dream home” (trait) wherever that is 😂 must remember to check in on Mum & Dad too (“kids stuff” trait) when I find out where they live 😂 planning on putting in quite a few hours over this weekend.

Obviously I haven’t played the game yet, but I can’t help feeling certain reviews (yes, I’m looking at you IGN) under-score a game just so they stand out. If IGN gave it a 7, I daren’t think what Eurogamer are gonna give it 😬 I don’t care anyway, I can’t wait to play it!

Shame your review will be late as you’re my go-to site for Xbox stuff, nevertheless I look forward to reading it. I haven’t yet seen/read all the reviews but I recommend Game Radar’s one, where they gave it 5/5. My 2 take aways from their review were 1) it’s very easy to get sidetracked in Starfield (Great news!), and 2) it’s Bethesda’s best game since Oblivion (ES4). This game is gonna be such a huge time sink! 🙂

I’ll be playing on GamePass, though have paid for the premium upgrade so will be playing from tomorrow. I also bought the Starfield controller a few days ago…I couldn’t resist!

Always sad whenever a dev closes down. Mimimi had effectively created their own sub genre in strategy games, and their latest (Shadow Gambit) has been getting good reviews.

Not really my cup of tea but glad for other players that it’s reviewing well. Anyway, I’ll be too busy playing something else by the end of the week…😉

Under the waves looks interesting, but I don’t wanna buy any other new games so close to Starfield’s release.

I’m in kind of a gaming limbo right now, can’t really get into anything whilst I count down the days until Starfield. This time next week I’ll be playing it! 🙂🤘

I’d rather have a free trial of the actual game, which is strangely absent from EA Play/GPU 🤔

About time we had Bloons TD 7. Already played this one to death since its release.

Great news about Steamworld build coming to GP day 1. I would have bought this anyway as I love the Steamworld games. Still hoping for SW Dig 3, with more emphasis on the endgame.

Nothing beats a shadow drop! I’m looking for something to play whilst I wait for Starfield, so will definitely give this a go.

I can’t believe a dev is petty enough to criticise another game’s Start screen! Very sad. I’m sure once the game releases the Start screen will be the last thing people will be talking about.

I finally finished the Diablo 4 campaign during the week with my Rogue character, so I’m hoping to start the season mode with a sorcerer. Will try to finish Remnant 2, though the final boss is hard af 🙄 will also try out the Shadow Gambit free trial.

Update: just had a bit of a scare on my Series X. Turned it on to be greeted with a tiny low resolution picture 😬 managed to get it back to full screen but only 1440p, stating my TV doesn’t support 4K! (it does) After searching a few YouTube videos I fixed the problem (basically resetting the console). I don’t need this drama with Starfield less than 2 weeks away!

@StylesT I’ve noticed this with a few multi-platform games where the Xbox version is a couple of quid dearer than the PlayStation equivalent. Wonder why that is? 🤔

@GeeEssEff I didn’t realise there was a free trial - thanks! Downloading now. I’m worried it’s just gonna be a reskin of their last 2 games, but hopefully the demo will prove me wrong.

I really hope this lives up to the hype. Let’s face it, there’s a hell of a lot riding on this game, not just Bethesda’s reputation but also Microsoft’s. This game needs to deliver! I think I’m gonna spring for the early access version (via GP) because I won’t be able to wait the extra 5 days 😂

I tried again early this morning (around 6) before work and it still wasn’t installing. Tried just now (3pm) and it’s finally installing! Only a day late 🙄

Anyone else still waiting for their Xbox dashboard update? Still not had mine.

Anyway, mainly jumping between Remnant 2 and Pikmin 4. Still on the fence on buying Atlas Fallen 🤔
I’m also trying to finish the campaign in Diablo 4, so I can start the season mode. NGL, it’s starting to drag now with battles becoming something of a chore where I just feel like I’m going through the motions.

Has the Series X version been delayed as well, or just the Series S version? If the XSX has been delayed I was gonna get it on PS5 instead…then I realised it releases around the same time as Starfield and I’ll be too busy playing that anyway! Maybe that’s why the Xbox version has been delayed, cos it clashes with Starfield? I know they said it was because of “technical reasons”, but it seems a bit of a coincidence 🤔

I might pick this up to tie me over until Starfield comes out. The £50 price tag seems reasonable too.

@Gabrielmpf I agree. I’m worried the 20 locations will get tiresome very quickly. Even if they add in more tracks post-launch they probably won’t be in the career mode as the CM tracks are pretty much set in stone at launch, unless they do something similar to GT7 where they added extra “menus”.
