Madden NFL 24 Free Trial - Xbox Game Pass Ultimate & PC Game Pass
EA's latest Madden title now has an official 10-hour early access trial - available to EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. Here's how to grab the trial on your Xbox console and start playing early:
- Head to the Xbox Store on your console
- Search for 'Madden NFL 24'
- Be sure to select the base game for your console of choice (not the 'Standard Edition' or the 'Deluxe Edition')
- Hit the 'Free Trial with EA Play' option and begin installing!
If you're a PC Game Pass member, you can also access the free 10-hour trial by downloading the official EA app and linking it to your Xbox account. From there, you'll see an option to download the trial on the Madden NFL 24 store page.

Very excited to play Everspace 2 … getting some Wing Commander vibes …
Everspace 2 looks incredible, a huge leap from the first game which I also enjoyed but had a much smaller scope.

It’s out in the US but strangely can’t get the install button to work.
@Nightcrawler71 at the time of this reply, it's still not available, 1h15m after they stated release. Somehow POS Station gets the favoritism once again, although inferior in every way compared to xbox. Give me a break
2.20pm U.K. and it looks like it should be available but won’t currently install from the console or the Gamepass app.
It shows up now on the GamePass page, but when you click on install nothing happens 🙄
@JaffeGaffe I expect the issue is on MS side. Unless it releases at the same time for everyone pretty much every game drops at midnight in your timezone on PS, its not favoritism its just Sony being better with how they releases games compared to MS.

If you’re having trouble downloading Everspace 2, developer is telling people to change their region to New Zealand then switch back after it installs.

am i the only one that finds everspace 2's aim/look way too fast even on lowest setting? playing on xbox with controller.
I tried again early this morning (around 6) before work and it still wasn’t installing. Tried just now (3pm) and it’s finally installing! Only a day late 🙄
@rustyduck Yeah it is pretty quick, but I'm getting used to it. Bloody good game though... really enjoying it.
Cant install, good lord thats why Im about to seell this console I swear, there is always something broken.
@Qu1n0n3z - I had to switch location to install (I’m in the U.K. but switched to USA) and that worked.
Playing on Series X and it has annoying performance issues - game ‘hitches’ at regular intervals and is quite off putting. The developers are aware and are working on a fix…

Freezing/performance issues now fixed via patch (available now).

@Feffster I've been having freeze issues too, good to see a quick patch released.
