@BRT15 I thought the Epic deal was a bit shady as well but now that we've actually seen Alan Wake 2 it seems to have gone okay.
Hope the same rings true for Fumito Ueda's game.

@GamingFan4Lyf I think it's worth it for this type of game (soulslikes) where you see what looks like a 50% drop off on some games (based on cheevs)
Only 37% managed to complete Nioh 2's first mission.....
I think the average consumer wouldn't wanna spend money on something they're not sure they might be able to complete at all.

60fps kinda ruins it, I'd play it on my pc but don't trust it to be faultless either.

@Tangerine oh I know about some of that, I meant the one on the console app that resets every 7 days, it requires you to do three things, visit a new game's page in the store is always there and the other two switch around.
Was wondering if you could track that elsewhere or if it's specific to console.
Edit: I'm talking about the one that nets you 2,5k every ten weeks as mentioned above.

@Widey85 same, I was on 115 or sth. Not too bothered because I'll get it back in 2 months (if I don't forget) plus you don't get any extras after the 10 weeks anyway. But still slightly annoyed.

@Wheatly oh I get that, and I suppose most people do that.
I rarely buy games day one and the ones that I do (Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy) will probably take forever to drop on the pass. The last few months have been great though compared to the previous two years so it depends for me.
But having said that if I get the option to upgrade to 3 years for like a hundred I'll go for it.

@Wheatly well not me lol. My sub expires end of the year, previously got three years for about 70 which was outrageously cheap.
But even if I don't compare it paying 15 a month instead just seems way too much 🥲
