It's been almost two months since Ubisoft Plus first launched on Xbox, and we've been eager to sample it ever since, but that £14.99 / $17.99 price point is a Steep one. However, as of today, the service is getting an entirely free trial!
Yes, you can start your free Xbox trial of Ubisoft Plus right now by heading to the official Xbox website, navigating to the "7 Day Free Ubisoft+ Trial" page (via the "Try For Free" prompt), and then hitting the "Link with Ubisoft" button.
As you can see, this is just a week's trial for the service, so you haven't got long! Our advice? Download the games that you want ahead of time with the Xbox mobile app, and then when you decide to start your trial, you can start playing those titles immediately instead of being forced to wait around. That's how we're going to do it anyway!
You can begin the trial at any point from now until June 21st at 1PM UTC, so pick your time wisely. You should also keep in mind that it'll renew at full price after your week-long trial if you don't cancel it in time, so make sure you do this if you don't want to start paying for Ubisoft Plus.
Oh, and you should also know that the trial includes PC games as well as Xbox titles!
If you're interested in the full lineup of Xbox games included with Ubisoft Plus, we've covered this elsewhere on Pure Xbox (see below). It includes some major titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6 and Watch Dogs: Legion!

7 days? That's almost as stingy a trial, as £14.99 is a price.
Can you even finish one over-bloated Ubisoft open-world MTX live service game in 7 days without either skipping work/sleep or losing your mind?
I love free stuff but I am unlikely to use as one week is not enough time to complete a game, I got serious game pass backlog and lastly want to send a message that I am not interested in subscribing at that price point…
@themightyant and tear yourself from Zelda for a week …. $&@& no!
Watch me complete ac mirage in 7 days
Definitely not worth it, might as well just buy the Ubisoft games you want since they’re regularly on sale.
7 days to try and complete Far Cry 6? Nah I'll give it a miss lol
I've got it and after this month I wont be re subbing
Might try out riders republic, see if it's worth buying in the current sale.
It's the sort of service that I'll subscribe for a month or two and then stop, which is perfectly fine and is one of the benefits Ubisoft themselves are pushing.
@AlwaysPlaying I doubt you'll be sending any message. They are clearly happy with this price point considering they have had essentially the same price since Uplay+ launched in 2019. If no one bought it, they would either reduce the price or just get rid of the service altogether.
@themightyant with my current schedule I probably wouldn't even get out of the tutorial/starting area.
Make sure to cancel before they charge you. For me it's not even worth the 7 days. I've done this before with Hulu cancelled right away and they still charged me for a month. So now I boycott Hulu.
They would have pay me for this rubbish service it's terrible gamepass is a million times better than this surly no one is subscribed to this
@Lightning720 If they felt so confident of their product they would either give us 30 days or do it right before Mirage launches… it’s a greedy tactic to get you to subscribe and hope you forget to cancel… as for my message yeah it’s very weak… need to start a petition….
Nope. Not a chance.
Time to finish fc blood dragon
At this point I'd say only one of two things would lead me to consider Ubisoft+:
its more of a trap than a free trial, let me guess you need to enter your banq account details to get the free trial? i bet it is, in hope you will forget to cancel and they will slap you with auto renewals
@TakeItEasy just set a reminder on ya phone, that’s wat i do.
In Poland its 69,90zł its 16,91 dollars
