Re: Starfield: The 10 Coolest Things We've Found So Far

I love some of the random ships that hail you with different dilemmas. Like the African salesman trying to get me to renew my ship warranty, or a school teacher asking for ship parts with the inquisitive kids in the background asking if she's talking to pirates. It just makes you smile.

Absolutely loving it. I'm really impressed by the voice acting, especially for a Bethesda game, and the lip sync is one of the best I've seen since Horizon Forbidden West.
I only wish that the player protagonist was voiced to give them a bit of character. I'd also like a 'hide spacesuit' option for when in ships and structures.

@Darude84 When I first played this on release (PS4 version), every single side job and fixer mission was available straight away which cluttered the map and made it seem daunting as to where to start. After the patches, you'd only get a few side jobs and fixer missions at first and more would become available after completing them and also depending on your street cred level. It made the game much better and wouldn't stress you out with the map littered with icons.

I think the game is best played as a linear story driven game rather than an open world game. Letting the story missions take you to different parts of Night City and the Badlands rather that going off and exploring them yourself just feels better. Johnny is a lot more talkative that way, too.

Bloody love this game.
