Always black for me, white is nice but i find that after a long/intense game session where your hands get sweaty it’s much more noticeable on white than black.

Trying GTA5 and Gears 5 online while it’s free. I’m also debating playing Dead Space 2 but the second disk is unplayable, does anyone know if i can play it with just the one disc? I know Xbox one downloads 360 games instead of installing from the disc so I’m wondering if it will just download it all in one or would i need to insert the second disc too

I’d love a remaster of Alan Wake, one of the best story driven games on 360 in my opinion

The saltiness between the 2 systems is why i won’t be getting either of the systems and will probably stick with my primary gaming system, the Switch

Personally I don’t care if xCloud will be accessible on Apple devices, if I want to play a game it will be through a game console on a tv rather than a phone.
And before anyone says “but you can play it on the go” that’s why I have a switch, which I prefer over my Xbox.

The only thing I got from that video was that the Nissan at the beginning is running on Toyo Proxes Tyres, I will be interested to see what this will look like close to finished.

I don’t see why the Gamepass app isn’t integrated into the Xbox app, if you’re going to update it at least get the icon looking decent

With or without Spider-Man the game doesn’t look that appealing. I may pick it up when it eventually goes down to single digits

Since Marvel is now owned by Disney I’ve found myself enjoying it less and less, not because of the Disney aspect of it but the direction it’s gone.
Back on subject, I wasn’t planning on getting it anyway because chances are it won’t be any good

I was debating getting all my 360 games digitally for Xbox one but it’s just so expensive, I’ll use Fable Anniversary as an example, to purchase digitally it’s £30 but I can get it pre owned for £10 and even doing that it still downloads it to the console without reading the disc.
Good idea to make it all easier but they just need to be cheaper

I understand why their doing it. Same as why the new system is just called Xbox, it just makes it easier and more integrated

Cleaning up the remaining Dead Space achievements, did fancy trying out Battlefield 5 but damn those load times are ridiculous

DMC5 is amazing but I have it physical so I guess it’s back to inserting the disc to play it

Movie tie-ins are something I avoid because 99% of the time they’re rubbish and not worth playing

I don’t believe it’s true. I mean a slim model of a product that hasn’t been released yet? It’s probably like what they did with the Xbox One on release where everyone who worked on it got a white controller

I used my code that came with the Xbox and it expires tomorrow, can honestly say I won’t bother renewing because there’s only a handful of games on there that interested me, some disappointed me and the others I can pick up for less than the subscription, good if you’ll play them all or only care about achievements

I’m sure I seen somewhere that in terms of visuals it won’t be a massive leap from Xbox one but aimed more towards frame rates and this lighting.
I personally thought the halo visuals looked good and got me a little excited for it but nothing will surpass my excitement for THPS

Interesting idea. Maybe like a VR world like Saints Row or a Undead thing like Red Dead Redemption... ah Undead Nightmare DLC would be amazing in Red Dead 2

@Tharsman I understand that because most people I know who have played some of the campaign in halo games, some have not enjoyed it but still tried it. I just don’t want Halo to go down the route of sacrificing a good long enjoyable campaign for multiplayer.

I’d be glad if it didn’t come with multiplayer on release because it forces you to play and enjoy the storyline first. I don’t understand people who say they’re a massive fan of a game series but never get through the story, one of the main reasons I avoid Call of Duty now

Chance to win an Xbox One X by gaining 500G? I’ve only had my Xbox One for a month and gained over 8,000G, shame I don’t live in the US.
Easy way to do it would be to play Fractured Minds because 1. It’s an easy and quick 1,000G and 2. Raises the awareness of mental health issues

@BAMozzy I understand where you’re coming from but I’ve only owned an Xbox one for a month now (owned one at launch but had a lot of bad experiences) but my main gaming system is still my switch because I get more out of Nintendo games.

I’ve not seen all that’s coming to Xbox as of yet but from Things I’ve read it’s not something That’s gonna blow my mind and make me thing it’s amazing,

I’d chose Xbox over PlayStation but I still won’t be going in for next gen to play the same games I can play on Xbox One

Got interested in Carrion when I first seen it but now I’ve played it it didn’t live up to what I was expecting, it’s a interesting game but I find that it feels a little unfinished

Xbox hardware increasing could be because here in the uk the Xbox One X dropped to £230-£250 during lockdown, it pretty much sold out everywhere because it was cheaper than the One S. Possibly could be the boost in gamepass users too as it comes with a month trial and just before it’s up you get offered to try ultimate for a £1, why wouldn’t you

@TimG13 yeah I agree with you on the previous art they showed. Maybe they’ll use one for EU release and the other for NA like what happened with Breath of the Wild on Switch

@FraserG same here I have a custom controller that I do my best to keep clean but those thumb sticks are a nightmare for getting dirty. I did decide to get thumb grips but now their just slippery. Nice controller by the way, mine looks like the standard controller but with white on black buttons and a metallic silver d-pad and triggers

I’ve seen these quite a lot and I’ve really been eying up the spyro one but I’m wiaiting for it to go on sale

@FraserG either that controller never gets used or the picture was taken straight out of the box, it’s so clean

I don’t think I’ve ever used meatacritic. I usually check some gameplay/walkthrough footage to see if the story interests me and of the gameplay is any good. I never go off other people’s reviews or opinions because I not sure of their credibility on the product.

Example from a quick google search Murdered:Soul Suspect has a review of 5.5/10 implying a below average game but I really enjoyed the story and gameplay, whereas Fallout 4 has a score of 9/10 and I didn’t much care for it.

@sixrings I didn’t mean it in such a negative way but having just purchased an Xbox One a few weeks back I noticed a few things that seem odd.
1.to set up and use an Xbox one you need to create a Microsoft account, that’s a little odd in my opinion.
2. When creating a Microsoft account it creates an Account for all its other products that most people don’t use anymore.

I’m not hating on Xbox because I believe it’s a good system

@GunValkyrie I completely agree with you in that the only way to play online would be to subscribe to gamepass ultimate. It won’t be the first time Microsoft pushes you into something you don’t want to enjoy one of their services.
I’m fine with it because I already use gamepass anyway

@TanaD I’ve played up to chapter 3 in GOW4 and only the opening chapter in 5, the visuals in them both are great and in 5 it looks much better. Personally from what I’ve played they could have done a better story in 4 because I’ve been fighting some robots instead of locusts and wretches, basically they made the game so new players can jump in without the need to play the originals.
Might be good to go through them if you have Gamepass but 5 is giving me some bad vibes now it’s just called Gears 5 and the online is being updated in seasons.

@TanaD funny enough I’ve only just picked up a One X about a month ago, I was more into gears of war on 360

@Nye1779 I’ve been eying up playing control for a while now but I’ve not heard much about it. As for resident evil 2 that is great game but it’s terrifying on the first play through

@TanaD I’ve been debating on tackling MCC too, I’ve played some of them before but never actually followed the storyline. That’s what I’ll focus on when I get around to it

I checked out minecraft on Gamepass because the last time I played it was when Xbox one was announced, damn game has just gone too complicated for me now and gutted Minecraft Dungeons is online exclusive

I’ll have to check it out and hopefully I’ll see something that will get me excited for something unexpected, at the moment the only thing I’m looking forward to is THPS

Fable 2 was an excellent game. I would like to see forza but I don’t like the way the series is going.

Mainly just checking out some of the shovelware on Gamepass but I’ve gotten into The Walking Dead at the moment and probably will start Arkham Knight
