Just cleaning up some achievements in Forza Horizon 4 and possibly make a start with Alien Isolation, been fancying the marvel game but I’m not sure yet as I’ve heard mixed reviews

I started using it when I got my Xbox but I just never seemed to build up enough points so I opted out

I really enjoyed the original Rayman games, it’s a shame that I stopped playing anything by Ubisoft after the release of the Xbox One.

Interestingly when I was in my local GAME they tried getting me to pre order the Xbox Series X or PS5 last week

My initial reaction was “nice, I’ve been meaning to pick this game up” then suddenly turned into “nope” due to the price point

If I was to pick one up I’d wait until a revision purely because when I picked up an Xbox one around it’s launch I had it replaced 5 times due to them all being faulty, with the last one I just said I’ll get a PS4 instead and that ended up being faulty.
I only just recently picked up a new Xbox One X for a low £150 so I’m not in a rush to upgrade anyway, on the plus side I should be able to get my games cheaper

When I seen them I thought “that’s not too bad” then I seen it’s dollars. That’s terrible.

It will only get you the money to buy one or two games depending what you trade in, one of the reasons I go elsewhere to trade in my games

Even though it’s a game you can finish in less than an hour it has tons of replay ability, it is easily the best skateboarding game available.

Plays similar to the originals but I’m gutted I can’t play as spider-man anymore.

I wonder how many people throw away the boxes for game consoles and other tech, also how many people throw away game boxes

Touch controls suck. With buttons you don’t really need to move your fingers but with touch controls you constantly have to re adjust

Luckily I picked up Dirt Rally 2 GOTYE for £14 last week. But I agree with others, I didn’t care for Yooka Laylee

I’m excited for this after playing Fallen Order but it is by EA. don’t get me wrong they have made some great games but micro transactions

I can understand 60fps in borderlands but I can’t see how 4K would do much, fair enough with games that aim for realistic visuals but this is almost like comic book visuals.

These will be almost required because on current consoles 1tb is low, uninstalling an re installing when you come back to it isn’t a good answer because some games take upwards of 2 hours to install.

With the new systems keeping the backwards compatibility and updating Xbox games the seem better the 1tb will fill up fast,

I’ll maybe get one when they inevitably release a second iteration that will be cheaper and fixes any issues this will have on release

Personally I can see it from both perspectives that Apple is sticking to its policies (as I believe it should) and also doesn’t want its own gaming platform to be wiped out, and Microsoft just want their platform on as many devices as possible.

I wouldn’t bother either way because why would I play games on my iPad when it’s easier and better to play them on the tv?

The whole point of remaking it is to make it play better and look better, the visuals make it look like a 360 game so let’s hope it has better controls

How you connect them is convince them to break up with your current system then introduce them to the new console, let them have a few dates to see if their compatible

To be fair how would someone notice it if nobody knew what it looked like, especially if it’s placed where nobody would put one.

Fair enough if it was straight on so you could see the black dot because most people would have just assumed it was a speaker

@Darth_Stofi I believe that’s why they’ve discontinued the One X, to make it seem like a bigger upgrade between the systems

@TheNewButler ah I’ll probably give it a miss because with most games like that I do tend to start over and not end up finishing the game, I tend to go for more linear story driven like Tomb Raider and Gears of War, that’s probably why I don’t have much issues with load times

@TheNewButler I’ve not played that game in particular so I can’t really comment on that but my One X is pretty decent in load times in the games I do have, however mine refuses to install Gears of War

Interesting how they compare it to the One S saying is so much faster. I’m sure if they compared it to the One X there wouldn’t be much of a difference. But hey that’s just a marketing thing

I hope they release them soon because I need a second controller and everywhere’s out of stock, I refuse to pay £60 for a preowned that’s worn, clogged with dirt and smell of smoke

It’s a good tip but I still opted for a external hard drive. Hopefully dlc can be re downloaded if you want to play the games again

9/10 and ironically the one I got wrong was the one about how many levels are in the new one

@blinx01 It does 120Hz not 120FPS. Also the cost of the tv in question as you said is £1,500 so technically I’m not wrong because after purchasing the console and a game to play on it it’s at the 2K mark.

Yeah it comes close to doing all of them but I’m sure most won’t want to spend that so will most likely play on their current tv.

There is no tv in existence yet that can put out all the specs of these next consoles and to get close you’ll need to spend upwards of 2K so most people will get the same experience they get now on current systems, even Sony’s new “ready for PS5” TVs won’t fulfill all its features

This is just being petty now because most people I know have decided what their getting

For most people the series x will display not much different to the current Xbox one because it’s down to your tv to display it, to get a tv that displays 4K at 120fps would cost upwards of £1,500, plus there’s not a tv available that will utilise all of the next gen specs, the closest you could get is with a gaming monitor.

How? If there’s no kinect or motion controls?

Ah damn I guess I’ll have to enjoy a different Lego game until then

The only thing I see different is the Gears 5 icon, that looks better than the current green thing we have now, maybe after i use it I’ll see a bigger difference

I’ll check for any missable achievements first and aim for them during my play but I tend to enjoy the game then if i enjoyed it I’ll go back to clean the rest up.
I don’t buy games specifically for an easy 100% in achievements but if that game happens to look interesting I’ll check it out.

My main focus for gaming is my switch anyway as i travel for work a lot and also enjoy gaming in peace

Most of the games on EA access are sport related and I’m not a fan, however I have been enjoying more games on it that gamepass.

Right what needs to happen if this it going ahead? Release it physically with all previous DLC, I still own it from 360 days but never got around to getting the DLC

All the prices are indeed great if you’re aiming for all digital, I mean i picked up a couple of the games on this list a few days ago and compared to the prices i saved anywhere between £5-£10 on each game. Granted I’ll still get one or two that I didn’t pick up, again great deal if you’re aiming for all digital or want to reduce your physical collection

I don’t own this game yet so I’ll wait and get the ultimate edition but it sucks for people who own it and want to play it on next gen systems

Surely everyone knew the release date of this system. I mean a release title is out on 17th of November so that’s when it will be released

@KelticDevil I just thought that if someone picked up a physical copy of a game that is now no longer available on the Xbox store, would you still be able to purchase the DLC through the in game menu,
If it’s not possible then that kinda sucks because it means that there’s no way of actually completing the game and getting all achievements

I wonder if after it’s delisted and i go buy it digital. Would i still be able to get the dlc for it?

I’m still skeptical about it being called “Series S” because people believed Xbox One was to be called “Xbox 720” up until officially announced. Personally I think it will be an all digital version of the series X and the slim will come in a year or two
