Off topic here but does anyone have any idea if the series x controller will work with the One X and if it would be introduced into the Controller design lab?
I would like to pick one up but keeping with my Colours

With it being included with Gamepass Ultimate it was inevitably going to disappear. I know there’s a lot of people who use Gold but not Gamepass but that’s just how it is with Microsoft.

@Medic_Alert I’m sure the resolution will be the same as the Xbox One so games will look exactly the same on either console, it’s just the series x will be more powerful in the sense of drastically reducing load times and other things.

I guesses as much when it was near impossible to buy one a month or two ago, it is a rubbish idea though because the s only comes in white

Looking forward for Carrion because I really enjoy games where you play the villain. Would have checked out grounded but with it being “preview” I won’t bother

@BrilliantBill i know how you feel. I’ve just started Red Dead 2 and I don’t think that will stay on there long enough, to be fair though i am enjoying it so I don’t mind paying for it and getting gamepass discount

Assassins creed games have over stayed their welcome and should become a new IP instead.
Far cry seems to be a bit hit or miss because since the third game they’ve pretty much had the same vibe.
watchdogs is a game I really want to enjoy but it’s a cheap cola, you can tell there’s something wrong with it

I don’t bother getting too excited for Ubisoft games anymore because it’s usually quite predictable.

It would surprise me if they did a full remake of The 3D Rayman games

@Z3u5000 I only use gamepass (the free trial that came with the console) to get the discount on the games I want to play, probably won’t renew it when it ends because there’s only roughly 10 or so games there I’m interested in

Cuphead would be great but Control would make the most sense

I’m hoping for a new Forza. I’m so late to horizon 4 and motorsport 7 that there’s no point picking it up now if there’s a new one around the corner.

I think the games that come from under Microsoft’s umbrella. Halo series, Forza Motorsport series, Gears of War series and so on, however I wish they’d try and get rid of this loot box thing.
I know it’s not entirely Microsoft and that we don’t have to buy them but still

@xMightyMatt14x yes underground was amazing, the last Hawk game I got was Proving Ground so I got a massive itch for another.

I’m really hoping they do a reboot of a story game or make the games longer.

@FraserG the blank space next to Xbox Series X is for Xbox One, they’ve done this on a lot of games already. Like Bully and Red Dead game of the year edition, it’s also there on most exclusives.
If you check on Game.co.uk website you’ll see that all the new releases have them and shows Xbox One in them.

I don’t think it will be anytime soon because the biggest thing they’ve been pushing is “optimised for series x” which leaves me to believe that the games will work on Xbox one

The Xbox one X I believe has been discontinued as you can’t seem to get them anywhere in the uk only one or two here or there, probably why it dropped down to the same price as the One S not long ago to shift the last of the stock

Personally I’d prefer a complete reboot like what was done with Tomb Raider, it would be nice for a continuation but number 3 brought the series down and would make the 4th seem tainted.
A reboot would be good to recreate the story and add some new mechanics that would feel at home in the game

I’m still seeing it at £24.99 so no discount here

@armondo36 haha love the phrase super fancypants Edition. yeah that’s true I’m sure they thought of something.

I doubt it will be Cyberpunk purely on it is a highly anticipated game that plenty of people have pre-ordered/pre-purchased, that would seem like a massive slap in the face to most of them.

Using torches in games is one for me. I know thats the effect it’s meant to give but damn, also mannequins both in games and real life

@Dezzy70 yeah Game are pretty good with release dates and usually a good midnight launch or lock-in when big games or systems are released

That’s interesting as I’ve been debating playing Through the Gears of War games again so I might hold off until this is sorted

Could it possibly be down to physical media? producing something onto physical media in cases (now that plastic has become bad) could have upped the cost of materials. Exactly why I’ve gone all digital in hopes that one day digital will become the cheaper option

I think “Lockhart” will be code for and all digital series X and “Edinburgh” code for a possible peripheral like maybe VR, Kinect 3.0 or even a series 3 elite controller

I’m hoping it’s a reboot of the series. Loved the second and really enjoyed the first, can’t remember anything from the 3rd

Seems like a decent deal for people who enjoy EA games but for me there’s only one or two that I’m interested in and I already own them, still good though for people who enjoy playing fifa

If the star wars is anything like the fallen order then it should be good but I don’t get excited for new games anymore

Only found out they had physical stores after reading this post. Turns out my nearest one is over 3 hours away so there’s no wonder I never knew they existed

Used to really love the WRC games but stopped after they were restarted in 2010 because I didn’t like the direction it went. Maybe I’ll give this one a try

I’m hoping to see something decent and not just a half baked idea that shows what the system is capable of but will be forgotten when the library expands.

@FraserG I have a gamepass code that came with my Xbox one but I’ve been waiting for the right time to activate it ( when I got more time to get stuck into it) I’ll have to give it a try

I wish I could just delete the mixer app from my system because I don’t use it and won’t be using it in the future, especially now Facebook is involved

Possibly a stupid question but would these unlock if I own the game? Like say if I own the Minecraft dungeons physical or digital would I still be able to get them or would I have to download it via gamepass?

Personally I’m not a fan of either of these games but I chose SSX Tricky purely based on I enjoyed SSX3. If it included Tony Hawks Underground then it would be a different story

@BlueOcean I’m still yet to play a Banjo game but I’ve heard nothing but good things about it (apart from Nuts and Bolts) maybe I’ll check one out with the Rare Replay games
