I’ve surprisingly been enjoying Gears Tactics but found myself having a few quick sessions of Zumas Revenge

I’m surprised with the results because I remember San Andreas being boasted as the best but it’s Vice City for me

I doubt it if they’ve gone through the trouble of enhancing it for next gen consoles, maybe in Q4 of next year but not any time soon

Halo multiplayer will crash so I’ll wait until everything is fixed

If all this is true then I’ll save my money and not buy the console

Lego Indiana Jones is the only one I’m interested in

Nightfire for me because it’s the only one I really played

Hmm I’d rather buy a standard controller and save myself £50. I’d have the same experience playing a game

See this is why the systems being in short demand is a bad thing.

Even though I won’t be buying one anytime soon I’m glad there’s more stock so that people planning to scalp the market get lumbered with them. Anyone who payed their ridiculous prices are stupid

Most of my movies are now purchased through my Apple TV as I’m trying to go all digital so my disc drive is seeing less and less use

Haha nope, it would be a bit hypocritical of me as 1.don’t shop at game and 2. If someone asked me where to get the most pleasant and enjoyable gaming experience I’d be naming Nintendo systems. Plus my current job pays a lot more than that

It would probably work out better and more cost effective to just get a second system for the bedroom and download different games to that system.

Ah Gears of War stopped being good after the 3rd or Judgment, all these loot crates and stuff is what’s putting me off starting them

“Soon be able to change it with the app” this was already a feature before the app was updated because it’s how I changed mine

I hope so because I find Bethesda games look quite underwhelming

Funny enough I picked up an LG CX OLED TV this weekend. Don’t see much difference between my old tv, the biggest difference I see is going to OLED from LED

Anyone paying anything over retail is just getting ripped off. Why pay all that when in a few months prices will probably drop anyway

As someone who expects to see some issues with the new systems I can honestly these are probably fake. If your system was smoking like that Microsoft would not tell you to unplug and plug in again

I remember the days where if a console was released with a load of issues it would be considered a bad system now it seems to be a “oh well I guess we’ll fix it with an update” but I’m just waiting for the physical issues like what happened with Xbox one, PS4, ps3 and 360

I’ll be sticking with my 3100mAh rechargeable batteries. I find the official ones are convenient but don’t last very long until they stop working

Going back into THPS to clear out some of the new challenges that have crept up from nowhere

Gears of War 2 was my favourite and just felt like an extension of the first, Gears of War 3 was a good Conclusion to the story.
Judgment I thought was a good addition to the story but wouldn’t have felt I’d missed anything if I hadn’t played it.
Gears of War 4 and Gears 5 kinda lost it for me and I felt it was just a way of milking the Gears of War name, I’d have been happy if it was left at the 360 games,

What I find off putting is this whole thing about how it performs playing old games and no generation exclusives. It’s all an underwhelming system so far

Assuming it’s a lot because the top is full of holes. I wonder how long it will take before someone spills something into it

@Krzzystuff it’s a fantastic game. I had it bundled with my Xbox and put off playing it for a while but it plays absolutely great

@blinx01 exactly. That’s why I was surprised the S wasn’t a 1tb because about 20% is always reserved

Called it. You’ll need to buy the SSD expansion card so would have been better getting the X. But that will only have around 750GB

This is why I avoid multiplayer games. Eventually they stop working

@booker_steve you could always check on their websites early that morning and reserve it. I’ve been lucky sometimes with things like that through Argos and Currys, I got my One X for £160 with fallen order from Currys during lockdown

@Senua I thought PlayStation home was for the seedy stuff

Now this means I have a spare hdmi port on my Xbox one. Maybe I’ll plug in my snes classic instead

For me it’s a toss up between Resi 3 and Dead Space, dead space for the whole scary thing because when it released it felt really terrifying and nothing has hit me that hard since, or based on gameplay and controls I’d say Resi 3

I’ve started playing Little Hope after picking it up in a double pack with Man of Medan, thoroughly enjoying it even though the reviews are not great. Also been playing a little Murdered: Soul suspect

I personally dislike white because it gets dirty fast, the blue one I like the uniformed buttons instead of the colours but again the white back is a deal breaker for me so I’m happy with my black for now, may get a custom design lab when that’s available again just to get the black and grey theme

I find skate 3 isn’t the best in the series so it would be interesting to see how well skate 2 would sell if it had been compatible

They would be the same because there’s no difference between them, Check out the WRC9 game. The disk will be exactly the same and playable on both

@Krzzystuff that would be awesome. Almost like a Star Wars crossed with the Hitman games, not sure if that was what you was thinking but it’s what came to my head

I’d love another one like Fallen Order, not yet finished it so I don’t know how the story concludes but maybe a prequel would be good.

@thejameswhogames I may give Watch Dogs 2 a try but I’ll check out some gameplay first or I might wait until this one has had a few updates

@AJDarkstar I don’t really remember if they were short or not but I do remember throwing a lot of time into the game. It was one of my first 100% achievements

Loved Lego Indiana Jones. I had it in a double pack with Kung Fu Panda which was also an awesome game. I did prefer the more “open world” aspect in the second one though

Personally I don’t use gamepass anymore because I wasn’t getting my money’s worth. When I joined it after I got the system then yea it was worth it but after 3-4 months I realised that there’s not much new been added that I’d play. It was cheaper to go out and buy the games I did play than to do it through Gamepass

@KelticDevil I’ve not really been following the PS5 so I don’t know much about it other than the looks, there won’t be a difference between an Xbox one game and an Xbox series x game because they’re the same

I’d rather the game be delayed for 2 years than to release something that will disappoint and have endless updates

@thejameswhogames I know I remember playing the first one and it just kept messing up so I’ve not played it since, It’s a shame that a lot of games have the ‘release it now, fix it later’ treatment, it’s why I usually wait until the games been released a few months before I pick them up now

I’ve had the controller for about a week now but I still prefer the Xbox one controller because the grips are at more of an angle so it’s easier to use the D pad.
