I hope Ubi see this as a success and hopefully being on Gamepass is a big part of that success. Maybe that'll increase the chances of Ubisoft joining Gamepass and not just bringing Ubi+ to Xbox (as is planned)

I enjoyed LiS and LiS:BTS but couldn't really get into LiS2 as much. Even though i enjoyed them, it seems way too soon to do any kind of remaster if ever. The art style is fine on these and if it didn't tell me this was the remaster - i'd have assumed it was video of the original release

I still see CoD becoming exclusive once contracts expire, they can intend to do this and have a desire to do that etc but doesn't mean it'll actually happen as it is currently

A desire to keep Warzone on PS - sure

A desire to release CoD Modern Advanced Infinite Black Ops Warfare 33 on PS - not so much

What would worry me (albeit its all optional) is if the main story and side quests etc would clock in at say 100 hours. What is there to do that would take another 400 hours

That seems like an awful lot of time to do other "tasks" that aren't main or side missions. What is the incentive to spend that much time in the game world ?

I've been having this issue lately and i seem to remember after launch that people had issues with the controller disconnecting etc.

There was an update for that i believe but ever since the update, i have that issue of my controller disconnecting. This happens on multiple controllers whereby the guide button will begin flashing as if it's syncing to the console and will sometimes cycle through the sync 4-5 times before reconnecting

Have tried full resets of console and checking for updates including to the controller but there are none

Hoping they get the issue fixed soon as really annoying on some games which are either online or don't auto-pause when controller is "disconnected"

Not interested but if there is a market for it on Xbox then i'd like to see them go down that route for those that are interested, it just wouldn't be for me that's all

Yes that should work. Just make sure your GPU has fully expired.

If you still had a GPU sub active, when you come to add the first 1 year of XBLG to the account, it would say it'll extend the GPU instead but only for around 3 months (so obv not worth it)

If expired, it'll give 1 year of XBLG, then add the other 2 years for 3 years of XBLG. Then when you add 1 month GPU, it'll tell you it'll convert any remaining XBLG subscription (3 years remaining) into GPU which is what you want to happen as you'll then have 3 years of GPU at fraction of cost

F2P co-op PvE shooters seem a dime a dozen these days so needs something to set it apart

For me, Remedy do third person narrative focused action games very well so we'll see how CrossfireX and this turn out

From the list above, looking most forward to Stalker 2, A Plague Tale Requiem, Atomic Heart, Replaced and Somerville.

As @Ocat said though, it's the unknowns that can be the most exciting. If i think back to December 2020 and the amount of games that i've played this year that weren't known to be coming to Gamepass then it's quite a few. Lots of indie gems and some big releases (FH5 wasn't even announced then)

If 2022 is anywhere near as good as 2021, i'll be a very happy (and busy) gamer

The best "deal" is to let your existing Gamepass sub expire. Then load up to 3 years of XBLG onto your account (gamepass MUST be expired before doing this)

When you load the 3 years of XBLG (max 3 years for best value) - Xbox may offer you free months for turning on auto-renewal. You should REFUSE this offer

Once the 3 years of XBLG are loaded onto your account. You can then purchase 1 month of Gamepass Ultimate and add it onto your account

It will now convert the 3 years of XBLG into GPU at a 1:1 ratio - meaning you'd now have 3 years of GPU for a lot less cost

Note that you can also use any £/$1 offers that Xbox offer you through Xbox dash or a 7/14 day GPU code (non-trial) as these will also upgrade your XBLG to GPU (but only after loading the 3 years of XBLG)

It's not really a game streaming service, you are able to download the games etc. Obviously people who like to have "ownership" wont get that simply with having Gamepass but it doesn't stop you from still owning games if you choose to

Also, Gold isn't gone forever. If you turn off auto-renewal, your subscription to Gamepass would end after 5 months and then you can go back to having Gold if you wish

And they're not really being sneaky in trying to get their numbers up either. It's not like they're not making you aware and just auto upgrading people to Gamepass. This is an offer and even mentions that you're existing XBLG will convert at 1:1 so if you have say 7 months of Gold remaining, by taking up this offer, you'd then have 12 months of GPU on your account (the 7 months you had will convert and 5 months added from this offer)

Nothing for me as nothing stands out as being too good a deal to refuse

I recently arranged my backlog and worked out I have around 50 games to get through. Even if I manage 1 per week, that's another year of games to get through and doesn't factor in releases coming next year

Things like Immortals can wait as I know it'll only get cheaper

I'd agree, I often play a few games at a time and rotate them each gaming session but with Psychonauts 2, it just hooked me and I didn't play anything else until i got 100%

Would love them to bring a Psychonauts 3 out in a few years time

As someone who likes to complete games, i would like to see a platinum style trophy system added. But if they implement such a thing, it would need to award them for previously completed games imo

@NEStalgia - Facebook is still their bread and butter and the 'Meta' name probably wont stick. It's the company that owns the facebook / instagram etc platforms that is being renamed Meta

In the same way that Google used to be owned by Google but they changed the company name to Alphabet and Google (the search engine etc) is part of Alphabet

But nobody that i know of would use the name Alphabet to talk about the company formerly known as Google - it's still just Google to most of us

Another who is passively interested in this but only in a decent sale, but then its Rockstar so they'll still be selling this at near launch price for years to come

Was going to ask if anyone knew if the XSX version would be a free upgrade but figured i'd go find out myself and it is a free upgrade with the 'Enhanced Edition' slated for Q1 2022

@Dezzy70 - i think i read somewhere that they can be bought individually seeing as how Crysis Remastered is already available and some people may just want to get 2 and 3

For some reason i just never played the original but it's always been a game i've heard good things about and would be interested in trying now that i enjoy more single player centric games than i perhaps used to. Will look forward to finally getting to play this with a remaster

I like this controller and would think of buying it if sold outside of the console "bundle" but as i already have an XSX, no way for me to buy it currently (other than buying the console and then selling my current XSX on etc which i wont be doing)

I'd take a remaster of GTA3, Vice City, San Andreas and GTA4 all in one release including the add-ons like Lost & Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony but don't think they'd give us all that in one release

I have fond memories of Fuzion Frenzy as its one of the few Xbox games that i got my Mom to at least try out and she had some laughs with it.

Morrowind i played a lot with a friend back in the day, we'd simply take turns progressing through quests etc and had some fun with that

Barely played the other back in the day i'm afraid although still tempted by Psychonauts as i've gotten into platformers in recent years

If there was one OG Xbox game i would love to see be playable on newer consoles and come to GP it would be Phantom Crash - loved that game back in the day

@Krinkle_Kaptain - Sometimes a game is available for pre-download but is only a few hundred Mb's - it's more just an instruction to download the actual game when it's available so that's likely what is on your console for last few weeks

For example, I have Psychonauts 2 pre-downloaded but it's only taking up around 200mb in storage and when the actual game is available to download (maybe a week before release) - it'll then download the full thing and be playable on day of release of course

I don't see the XB1 version being "slighty reduced" at £59.99. It's more that the XSX version is being pushed up to £69.99. I wont be buying this year

@TheMightyAnt - i remember during the OG Xbox generation, i received a random delivery in the post which had an Xbox T-Shirt and some other random items (probably a keyring or something similar) and a pack of Boost Guarana chocolate bars (random but i remember them being very nice)

Unfortunately there were no controllers or consoles or anything like that in the delivery but it was cool and unexpected. No idea to this day why i received it but hey ho

Hadn't heard about that Tim Burton inspired platformer but interested to hear more about it. Hoping for something else new from EA (ie - not the Dead Space game) too

Still just waiting for the new-gen release. But as of writing, the ppl that have responded and played (ie - ignoring those that answered they havent played yet) - 73% have either said its better but improvement still needed or it runs better with no problems at all really

I've read several people during discussions on Reddit etc stating that the game ran fine for them on XSX so by the time the new-gen version is released, i'll pick it up in a sale or something

Looking forward to this but one thing i'd like to know is the achievement list.

I'm someone that likes to 1000G games i play but im not a big co-op or even multiplayer player. Would like to know if it'll be possible to 1000G this without needing to complete it in co-op
