Bloody hell it’s started early this year. But I’m disappointed Max Payne, Manhunt and Munch’s Oddysee isn’t in the sale. Over 700 games in the sale and not one of them is included. I get they have only recently been made BC but not even 30% off?
I wish Activision blizzard would fire their awful CEO so I can buy Sekiro, Crash 4, and Tony Hawk. I waited all year to buy them on sale and now it feels unethical.
Will I finally buy Borderlands 3 and RDR 2? Maybe, just maybe...
I might get Sekiro and play through that because I feel like Elden Ring may sour my experience for older Soulsborne games.
Thinking about getting ac odyssey or immortals fenyx rising but dont know which one
Will probably get Gears Tactics at that price considering it's 20-30 hours long and I don't want to waste most of my Game Pass on one game.
@RBRTMNZ the devs that birthed those games still deserve your attention and money though.
Bobby Kotick leaving Activision is akin to one of the heads of the Hydra being lopped off.
All the same, much respect for sticking to your moral guns 💪
Pretty much the same deals as the Black Friday sale.
Sooner than expected!
@RBRTMNZ yeah same. I wanted Tony Hawk (the Switch version) and can't bring myself to right now
@Dusk_Actual I considered that but it's the devs and support staff walking out of their jobs and putting their names on the line so I feel the need to stand in solidarity.
@GunValkyrie it really does. I've been eyeballing forever.
There's some great deals, but I'm a little disappointed because most of them are titles that regularly go on sale throughout the year at the same prices.
@kronos72 odyssey is a great game i got 200 hours or so out of it. the story is really good, ship battles are good, and the mercenary system is great.
Mad Max is an absolute bargain. Those with a Series X honestly buy it. First game that I actually noticed a big difference at 120fps.
@Beermonkey
I've just snagged Dying Light and I'm thinking about Mad Max. Is it a typical open world game with lots of meaningless tasks that prolong the game unnecessarily?
@Beermonkey, yeah gonna pull the trigger on Mad Max, it's cheap and what I hear of it a very underrated game, especially with the fps boost I reckon. Even if it's going in my backlog, I'm still at Assasins Creed III, and have bought everything of the series up to Valhalla, which by the time I played through the rest (which probably will be years) gonna be cheap too. But this week it's been Halo campaign week, what an awesome game that turned out to be.
Kingdom of Amular seems verrrry tempting
@kronos72 both 😬
Nothing for me as nothing stands out as being too good a deal to refuse
I recently arranged my backlog and worked out I have around 50 games to get through. Even if I manage 1 per week, that's another year of games to get through and doesn't factor in releases coming next year
Things like Immortals can wait as I know it'll only get cheaper
Glad to see Hot Wheels Unleashed on sale. I might buy it
There seems to be some decent deals, but I've got plenty to keep me going. Game Pass really dulls the urge to buy new games. I also bought the Witcher GOTY on Black Friday and haven't even installed it yet.
Maybe if there's another lockdown I can finally play the bloody thing
If you don't have Fight Night, it is an amazing back compat.... I heard they are bringing back the series some what soon too. Only $3.99 right now.
I like picking up gems from the last generation to pick up since I missed the last few generations. I might get kingdom hearts, which finally went on sale, pillars of eternity ii, and a few others. I am new to Assasins creed games, and didn’t know anything about ultimate editions or anything, and just got the odyssey and then Valhalla for $10. I’ve learned my lesson now though and will wait for the super sale with all the dlc from now on.
@RBRTMNZ you make a good point with that. You have my respect, boss 😊
I snapped up Alan Wake Remastered for 24 bucks.
I’ve been told it’s like playing a Stephen King book, sorta. I really hope that’s true.
@Dusk_Actual There are a lot of references to Stephen King, for sure.
Thanks for the € pricing 👍
