My Samsung Q80T 55" turned up just a few days ago with all the next gen bells and whistles. My body is ready (and so is my TV!) 😁

What a stressful hour it was.
Three windows open, hoping for GAME (for the points lol)
Went to sign in at 7:30. 6 min queue to log in. Fine.
At 7:48 I'm asked to sign in which I tried a few times with no luck. I then got kicked out entirely at 7:59!! By this pont I'm a sweaty mess.
Jump to the Microsoft Store. Get it in my basket and then realise its my old address!! Update my details. Battle some more and...
Finally got it ordered! 😍 The relief was immense haha
I was epically late for work though 😂

Wow, surprising. I'm a massive Gears fan and I never realised Gears 3 was held in such high esteem?
Personally, the Original (Ultimate) is my favourite.
I went back and played the entire series before Gears 5.
I always said Gears 2 was my favourite but after playing it again it definitely isn't. Great of course, but not my number 1.
I'm very happy to see Gears 5 get some love. I thoroughly enjoyed it but only ever hear hate about the game.
Looking forward to playing Gears 5 again on Series X

I'm a huge Xbox fan but the Final Fantasy series is my passion in gaming. This really is a massive blow.
A timed exclusive was an issue for me. A full exclusive really does force me towards a PS5.

This was an amazing reveal to me. As a massive fan of extreme sports this really was a happy surprise!
It has that Amped/Tricky quirkiness too which I like.
Between this, Sessions, Skater XL and THPS it's been fantastic for extreme sports games. I thought it was all over.
Just need Nintendo to drop a 1080 Snowboarding game on us

Series X, Series S, PS5 and PS5 Digital. I just don't know what combination to get?! Ideally I'd want a Series X and a super cheap PS5. Things need to be the other way around haha

I cannot remember the last time I watched a game trailer and was this blown away.
This looks phenomenal, utterly phenomenal.
Nothing shown by anyone so far comes close to this. Nothing.

I really liked the look of a couple Indies during Nintendo's recent Showcase. About 10 mins later I find out they're also coming to Gamepass. It's become almost farcical in its awesomeness

At the launch of 360 and for years after I was all about the points. I'd do all kinds of ridiculous things, elastic pads on your pad, second controllers, crazy matchmaking searches to find friends in ranked, leaving a game on all day/night, the lot haha Once I hit over 100k I just stopped. I was older and life gets in the way etc I do still love them though. When Series X drops I MAY turn back to my old ways 😁

@BrilliantBill I agree mate, I do. It's such a bad look. Money aside though you can tell when a man is passionate about something and Phil Spencer really cares about Xbox. This will be a devastating blow to him and his team, regardless of their salaries.

I feel bad for Phil and his team.
First their messaging and services fall on deaf ears. Then the Showcase is met with ridicule. Now Halo won't make launch.
They've done such amazing things to get Xbox back on track too.
I totally agree with the decision though. It won't effect my day one purchase but it'll have a massive impact on sales.

Speaking from the fighting game angle. If SF6 goes mutiplat and Microsoft buy WB (Mortal Kombat, Injustice) then Xbox will be THE place to game for the FGC. Throw in Killer Instinct and it'll be a powerhouse of a fighting game console 😊

I'm a huge DC fan so I can't wait for the event 😁 I always keep my fingers crossed for a Green Lantern game written by Geoff John's. Never gonna happen but a man can dream lol

This is sad news for me. As a massive fan of Ono , Street Fighter and the whole FGC I'll be very sad to see him leave

@Hippy_Pirate_89 Oh that's interesting. I played the original through again a few months back and found it to be just as fun and exciting
I do replay a LOT of older games though so I'm used to that harsh step back that some games offer up haha

Us Xbox gamers are spoilt with such a robust backwards compatibility system, games like this can be played whenever the mood takes us.
For others though it's a fantastic release and one that gamers (including myself) have been crying out for since forever. Lets hope it's real this time!
While I'm hoping... a Switch release would be just splendid

It was a close call between Jet Force Gemini, Killer Instinct Gold and Banjo-Kazooie.
In the end I went for Banjo-Kazooie, an absolute classic. I still think about that game and hum its various tunes on an almost daily basis

That's a hard no to free multiplayer from my point of view. Not the end of the world of course but it would've been quite a statement.

@Porridge2215 No prizes for guessing what site that is. It's ran by some great guys and there are some great people who use it but yeah, in the last 6 months or so it's become a pretty awful place 😟
