The beta was good. I wish they would open it up for anyone that’s preordered. I was super excited until I saw the four hour maximum.

@Residentsteven I appreciate the reply. I never saw them as a Naughty Dog type developer. I can see the early platformer inspiration. I have fond memories of playing Perfect Dark coop with my brother and showing each other our farms in Viva Piñata. I just always see Rares games as having cooperative gameplay in their vision. I did love TLOU multiplayer and was disappointed when 2 didn’t have it. I see that we are two different gamers and that’s great. Sorry for the negativity but I love my time with Sea of Thieves. It’s honestly in my top 5 games and most of my top 50 is in their for nostalgia.

@Residentsteven Same old statement and coming from Resident Evil guy. What a truly lackluster series. I want a game I can play with my friends and family and play at our own progression. 25 million sea of thieve users beg to differ on your criticism.

Probably my most anticipated game. If they can make something like Sea of Thieves but for the land and like a shared community I'd be addicted.

@Amin1998 I think this year, Microsoft has the edge over GOTY quality games with Psychonauts 2, FH5 and Halo. Might get a tech award getting Flight Sim on consoles for the first time. I left Sony this generation though because their exclusives aren't really what I'm particularly looking for.

@BlueOcean I completely agree with you. Microsoft just really has Minecraft to compete in the family friendly genre. I'd love a push into Viva Pinata. I'm secretly hoping Everwild is comparable to VP. Like you are cooperatively building this giant forest with friends and family.

I personally don't care for VR. I actually see AR being implemented a bit better. I get motion sickness and wearing a headset would make me claustrophobic.

I find it funny that a mini fridge had a preorder and it sold out and people are scalping them.

Gonna try out Everspace 2, Echo Generation, Fighterz, The Forgotten City, Bassmaster. Good haul.

Can’t wait for fh5. They’ve shown so much doing their Forza play series and everything seems perfect. Really good artists, really good music, graphics events cars customization. Truly a complete package and people are going to put months into the game.

I'd love a gears announcement. If they did a gears complete collection like MCC for 1-4 I would love that. I know Minecraft is their go to for family gaming but I'd like to see them push into this market. They really have the resources to push most demographics and genres.

@BBB I know people had issues. I played it from day 1 till I beat it and didn't have any issues. I just did one run through with 1 character solo. I thought the world building was pretty good and the loot/character system was great. I don't really grind games if I don't have to though.

I've tried and tried to get into oddworld since I was young and just could never get into them. Always seemed clunky and unclear.

Never got into the game myself but find it great that Microsoft is continually supporting their product.

@Originut it just seems like game pass jealousy to be honest. Game pass subscribers pay to be in that service. GPU is just really good at justifying it’s cost. Being irritated in how I spend my money is my own problem.

Definitely going to give it a go this weekend. Seems like a really silly premise that will be fun to dive into. Jankiness and bugs can be hilarious and add to my entertainment.
Not every game can be 10/10. If we want all art to be perfect for everybody we are going to have a very bland existence. Only reason things are seen as perfect is because bad things are their to compare it too. I'd know. I make crap art.

I think game pass and cloud gaming will really benefit Xbox in Japan and Korea. The series S looks like a great product for less wealthy nations that have to deal with huge import taxes. Xbox seems to be diversifying very well in the marketplace. I'm all in!

@GuyinPA75 130 gig download takes me 40 minutes and I can just do it from my phone while I'm at work. One big issue I see people have with their download speed is they are trying to game and download at the same time. Microsoft throttles your speed to give the game high priority so you don't lag.

Free trials are pretty great but two of these games are already on game pass. I loved borderlands 1 ALOT and the second one was good too but the gameplay formula is stale to me.

This seems interesting. I mostly run Duos in BR's so I'll have to see how the player base works with randoms. I already preordered the digital deluxe to play it a week early and get the first year pass. I know between this and halo I'll be set with first person shooters. Forza and Riders republic for my arcade sports titles. Game pass will fill out the rest.

Got burnt out quick on D3. Remember hearing everyone's D2 stories in high school. Ebay items, hacks, bots. Getting your account stolen, I got mine stolen in D3. Blizzard really isn't that good at running these massively popular games on battle net.

I've been paying for my game pass with my Microsoft reward points for the last few months. I got two of my best friends to come back to Xbox and get Series X's after they both got PS5s. Both got gamepass too. For me, I love game pass. I usually try every game that hits. I used to love game demos on disc, blockbuster rentals and shareware. This brings that "game testing" back to consumers.

I can't wait for this game to release. Even though riders republic, battlefield 2042 and halo are coming out in the months surrounding FH5s release, I'll probably put the most time in Forza. Top notch series.

Pretty cool controller with the blood splatter. I'd never want to be a streamer.

Yeah definitely a beta experience. Gunplay and graphics were great for the scale of scope of 128 players on the battlefield.

A teammates tank shoved my jeep into the floor of the map. Had graphic stuttering issues. Had a friend jump on his placed turret and get shot up into the air. The ragdoll physics are very fun but I got shot out of the drivers seat doing backflips. Got out of a car next to a wall and spawned in the building.

Bugs are fine and can be funny. Definitely need to iron out spawning or it's going to be infuriating trying to take points while a whole squad appears out of nowhere. Going to definitely be getting patches well after launch to fix some of these bugs and I'm going to assume some will never be fixed.

the classic xbox logo on the tongue is nice.

The only BR game i recommend right now is Super Animal Royale. 5 minute matches. Top Down twin stick shooters. My brothers and I (31-40) years old can do really well. This BR looks like Warzone. Also the crouching soldier behind the planter looked extremely uncomfortable and IDK how anyone could shoot like that.

@GuyinPA75 Thanks. Yeah never thought I'd spend that much on a controller when I love the Series X controllers and haven't run into too many issues besides maybe creaky springs in the triggers. Best Buy also had them like 20-30 off and I wanted to try them out for infinite and bf 2042.

@GuyinPA75 Yeah I've read up on a lot of mechanical errors occurring on the controller which is why I got the 2 year extended warranty from Best Buy.

Really good game pass selection. Always wanted to try Battle Simulator and Procession of Calvary. Back 4 Blood will be great for coop. Riftbreaker looks thrilling. I was interested in the good life when it was kickstarted. Visage and Ring of Pain i'll try too.

Looks nice but I don't think my fingers can move 8x faster. Seems like some odd stats that really depend on the player and how they utilize their devices.
I just got an Elite 2 so I don't see myself getting a new controller for awhile. Got 3 X series controllers, 1 xbox one/pc controller and the elite so I have enough for my series X and S.

I tend to think I’m past the competition of multiplayer games. I still love winning but having fun and being entertained are much higher on my list of needs. The halo preview satisfies my itch. I can be top three or bottom three. It’s fun and the gameplay feels right and tight.

Watched some streams and wasn't blown away by it. Looks like an MMO, plays like an MMO. I personally enjoy ESO over any other MMO out right now. Great single player content and doesn't make you grind so much to make it feel rewarding.

I've recently played through 1-5 campaigns and looking forward to 6. BTB preview this weekend was exactly what I expected and I'm really looking forward to the release. Also really pumped for FORZA.

@AFCC I thought so but I haven’t really tested out any memorable days to be like “THAT WAS THE WEATHER THAT DAY.”

Game has a certain appeal to me. I love fishing in all the farm games. Love that it’s coop. Usually voxel graphics have a quickly done feel to them but I read the interview this site had with the team and they got an artist that specializes on this art style. Take your time I’ll be waiting.

I bought this at launch. I don't think I've beaten it yet. Got lost in MSFS and Psychonauts and Sea of Thieves. But it's a well crafted game. Love the art design and music the most. Story is BONKERS.

This will help clearing those Microsoft rewards hopefully. I have fast internet but rather not be downloading huge games just to try them out. Microsoft is really wrapping up their ecosystem into an all encompassing gamescape.

Definitely will be checking it out. Already know I'm purchasing the base game. Still wish it was coming in October. New release date is in between forza and halo.

I'm super excited for this game. I really want it on the X but since it's not cross platform I'll be getting it on the switch to play with my brothers. Glad it's getting good reviews.

Update: Got the game on switch. It is really fun. Love the mechanics, the collection and all the things to edit.

I was there for d3 launch and that took a few days to finally get straight. Couldn’t get in for hours. Had to redo the first chapter which was the beta to begin with. Got my account hacked and I never played in open groups.

I’m really enjoying it. Some stuttering and a little jank. The world has an amazing feel to it. The art design is amazing. Reminds me of Extremties the comic without the gore. I’m enjoying the exploration and the platforming.

The new content is really amazing. What this game has become should be inspiring to anyone looking to get into game development. Microsoft gave Rare free reign and let them develop a game that keeps on giving and getting bigger and bigger year after year. One of my favorite games I’ve played with friends.

My buddy and I got ours. So excited. Great way to end the vacation! See you Spartans in there!

The deluxe version looks really nice. It’s reasonably priced too. The chest plate slipcase looks nice enough to display.

I don’t understand the hate for 4 or 5 besides nostalgia. Just played through all of them over the last two months. The story seems pretty cohesive and I think it took the story in a great sci fi route. The gameplay changes didn’t bug me at all.

13 games I'll all try. 12 games I would of never bought. Game Pass is truly amazing for a gamer like me. I am Fish looks amazing. Same with Sable. Same with Skate Bird.

I could care less about comic book video games. I rather have a make your own super hero game aka City of Heroes or Freedom Fighters. Reading the same story over and over is on par with remakes and reboots.

@swedetrap I really enjoyed The Artful Escape. Thought they executed their game near flawlessly. Yes Skatebird i think was first shown on a Nintendo Indie direct. Luckily it's coming to game pass.

9/10 from me. Really great experience. Really great work by the artists. The musicians, the designers, the voice actors.
