We're just a few days away from Back 4 Blood joining Xbox Game Pass and marketing for the game is ramping up. The latest is seeing various influencers receive themed packages for the game, which leaves us incredibly jealous.
Amongst the gifts, influencers are receiving a snazzy custom Xbox controller, along with a special jacket, backpack and candles to add some ambience when diving into the chaotic cooperative shooter.
Xbox did something similar during the summer when Space Jam: A New Legacy launched in cinemas. It contained three unique controllers, a figurine and 12 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Early access for anyone who pre-orders the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of Back 4 Blood is available today, with its full Xbox Game Pass launch arriving on October 12.

More free stuff for people that don't need it
@Would_you_kindly Absolutely nailed it in one sentence.
@Ile I mean I get why they give stuff to these people to advertise their game still find it annoying though I'd have alot more respect for companies if they gave stuff to people that couldn't easily afford it as opposed to these influencers
It's just marketing. No difference than free ***** any other influencial "celebrity" gets. There's enough evidence that having your games streamed by the top streamers has a massive positive impact in your game.
Clear no one on here, myself included, is the target market but that doesn't mean it's a dumb practice. People DO watch these guys and DO try games they are playing so it IS a GOOD strategy.
If anyone on here thinks that they can easily maintain the attention of over 100K ADD, no attention spans kids on a daily basis then you need a career change. It's not easy.
Still laugh every time remember that stallion cried like little baby when major Nelson gave him a lifetime Xbox live card. Makes my day every time. Such complete tool. Lmao!
@GunValkyrie I considered it, I even started the whole streaming regularly thing years ago, and it was just exhausting. The idea of being "on" all the time and having to play what was popular rather than what I felt like playing just killed the whole idea for me. Probably why I don't have any respect for those that do it.
We have a friend who recently got in to it and he's never on to play what we're playing anymore, unless it's some new big thing that he can grow his brand with. He also sleeps from 5pm until passed midnight so that he can wake up in the early hours and stream for the Americans.
I am not about to kill my enjoyment of my hobby like that.
Pretty cool controller with the blood splatter. I'd never want to be a streamer.
I actually don’t mind influencers getting free stuff. That’s advertising. That said, it annoys me that they get stuff that isn’t available to purchase.
these people only got all this free stuff because they are a bunch of corporate boot lickers and they all continue to kiss microsoft's butt
