I listen to a lot of Podcasts about Xbox etc, daily while I work.
There's links to Todd, id and Phil and Booty etc.
Phil said he's been playing Starfield for Months on end in the Giant Bomb Interview which is fantastic. I will link in a Forum.
It would make sense they say hey, come look at this to each other and id popped over etc.

@Traman500 I'm not 100% sure but I'm sure they helped as it was rumoured a while back they did or tweaked or took a look, advised who knows. I assume they did for now, as it's been mentioned a lot. They could help in many ways, Todd may tell us when the game releases who worked on what, the credits may tell us!

@Traman500 they have helped with Gun Play, it looked awesome to me. It won't be perfect, but looks fun at least!

This is what we want, Xbox drawing from that massive cauldron of Green sauce, all the knowledge, skills and more.
Devs can dip in and out of this massive resource, it benefits all, as some Devs are better at certain things, with certain engines. We need more of this across the board for all Xbox games where possible.

CMA are clueless, and the FTC in America are a joke.
Just want this to end, hopefully FTC gets Steam Rolled. CMA is a tricky one, as the UK Legal system is a lot better than the US one, so CMA work around could be tricky. Saying that, the CMA in court the other day looked a complete shambles.

Just want this deal to close or go away, it's tiresome, get it done and get rid of Bobby Kotick too, horrible man!

As for the showcase I gave it a go, was ok a C for me, was interesting, but was travelling home so missed some bits and the gems.

Looks like it was received well, so that is a good thing.

@Kevw2006 I'm all digital. Have been since Xbox one. I have a flat with my wife. I do not want anything on disc. I do for the older games. I have GTA 5 on disc. But I don't see the point of discs. I also have 3 external HDs connected for my old 360 games and Xbox one games. So I do care about the old games. I buy them digitally. That's me. But I'm organised and love my digital library. I also have game pass stacked until 2025. That's me. Online is vital. I work in IT, online is literally 24/7 this is the same with online gaming. If I can't play MP then yeah I'd be sad but I play something else for a few hours and any outage is normally solved in a few hours by Xbox. Now my ISP could be an issue yes. I'd just play an older offline game. But the Series X is mostly a bit useless offline anyway. It's a tricky one. I just don't get some peoples gripe that's all 😊

@SuntannedDuck2 appreciate your detail, bit of a long read. I thought the menu's looked great and clean. Also progress seemed good too. Many people are happy. I played the last FMS so long ago that I can't remember. But I think the menus being bland means the graphical power is all in the racing which is fantastic. Will see, as you know I have no issues with the online bit. As most of the games I play are MP. As I love online gaming. Xbox is Amazing at that for me. I hope it's a fantastic racer.

@FenIsMightier what on earth, FH5 having monthly and weekly seasons or whatever is awesome. It's not crap. Live Service games work well when done well. I play FH5 it's supported monthly. It's not crap!
Sea of Thieves is a thriving success too. I also play BF 2042 which is very good now the BP is was great and I have the new one. No money spent.

Looks good. Good format. I like the D to A class cars. Working them up. Love Hot Hatch 🐣

@Kevw2006 I'm 39 I don't get people moaning about online your console is online full time etc. The Xbox is pretty useless offline. It's not an issue. I got into MP gaming because of Xbox and Halo when I was younger. Online MP is amazing. So it's not a problem for me and the way I play. Just played 2 hours of BF 2042 a now Excellent game!!

@FenIsMightier that affects all games. I play all my games online. I don't get the issue. I game online. If there's no internet I don't play as much. Simple.

We need it to be online. This is just the career mode. Relax. Massive over Reaction. Your Console is online 24/7

@Suda52 no because they will have internet or be on the internet I'd assume tethered etc. Handhelds are normally online unless it's a switch. Always online makes sense. And isn't an issue. Will be fine. You can probably do a hotspot and connect etc.

Everyone's console is online as soon as they turn it on to play any games really. They all do syncs and server checks etc. I talk to my friends so being online is essential to me. No issues for me no doubt people will make out it's a disaster. You can still race etc. Plus stops cheating which is vital.

Sony have money hatted far more, watched podcast on it, not listing them off now, lets leave it there. Sony have done it more and are still doing it more is my point.

Timed is fine, I've had to wait years for games to leave Sony's hands to get to my Xbox.

@themightyant I wasn't even that keen on the game, loved Skyrim but a 40 minute presentation blew me away, the passion the love poured into this game, made me teary eyed, was emotional.
Like watching someone's story. I'm not even the biggest Single player fan, but I was moved by it! Which says something!

Glad it's not mission or quest DLC, we've had that from Sony loads with Hogwarts and Destiny 1 and I'm guessing 2.

Sony's Money hatting is becoming more apparent than ever I feel, before anyone goes mad, yes Xbox did it in the past, but this has been Sony's tactic and ethos since the PS4 days now rolling firmly into the PS5 gen. I get it's business but just a poor way of doing things, Xbox and Phil have shied away from this tactic more I think this Gen! Maybe it's time to fight fire with fire!

@Cakefish Nintendo are lucky their console sells like Fizzy Cola off the shelves as that thing is seriously under powered now. I have a few friends who want an upgrade but Nintendo just aren't playing ball. It's a really weak and old console now. Nintendo are always unique and that's Nintendo. I just want them to make a proper Console. A GameCube 2 please!!!

Phil is spot on. We all know the Series X is a powerhouse for it's price. And we've all seen what certain Devs can do with this tech and time. Coalition with Gears, Wolfenstein and Doom, Forza Horizon 5 (playground) all stunning on Series X. Playing Forza on an LG Oled C42 is mind Blowing to look at.

So Phil is right here for me. Just wish more Devs would push this thing to the max.

@themightyant disagree, I've never done anything over there, I will be back. This isn't bias it's my opinion, the community over there is toxic at times, I just had a sneak peak, it's bad!

@themightyant been on EG over 8 years, never had any real issues, it all got sorted by my contact there who actually said a few times he has no idea why I'm banned this was a while ago, then it happened a few times and was sorted etc. So it's definitely not always me, I've never been rude or broken and T and C's.

I had to fight to get my account back which my lovely contact did, but something isn't right.

PX is much better already, feels pretty chilled, I'd say one positive Xbox thing over there and it kicks off, already got one user over there trolling the showcase, just checked!

@Rmg0731 Wasn't CGI for me in game engine, I think it will look that good, it's Playground, they are masters, look how good FH5 looks, that is transferring to Fable for sure!

Fable Trailer was beautiful, was part game play sneak peaks I feel.
If that's already on a Series X, were in for a treat!
Devs when they have time can get the best out of this machine, it's a beast, just need devs to take their time and get this right.

They've clearly held some games back, was a packed showcase regardless!

Some games were missing, which I think is fine, even though I'd like to see them there.

We can now see Xbox first party studios are in a good position and gearing up for 2024 and beyond.

@Chaotic_Neutral that's your opinion, I know people who love those games, Xbox had a fantastic year already, only blooper was Redfail sadly.

@Banjo- yep, already have people crapping on Starfield and making out Xbox showcase had no gameplay, certainly did, was a great show 8.5 for me, wanted more, but it was a decent show!

Hello Ant, I'm on EG still, but won't be back until early July, thankfully a friend on Xbox recommended here a long lost friend or good guy who also was on EG. EG have some suspect admins, I've contacted my source I have there, as it keeps happening, where someone can get me banned for no reason. Won't mention any names, as there's some pretty crappy people on that site that hound me constantly.

Geoff show was fine, 6.5 for me, I meant in the past Geoff favours Sony which is fine and I just miss E3, it's like he's dancing on their grave a bit for me, he works hard, just don't get that chemistry with Geoff and he is Bias towards Sony for me.
