Super excited to see Neon White and Sea of Stars coming to GamePass!!! And High on Knife looks awesome.
Sea of Stars and Neon White for Game Pass?! great news!
Towerborne is looking better and better, like a mix between Young Souls and For the King.
Go Mecha Ball caught my eye, as well. It reminds me Sonic 3D Blast.
Good show, overall. Pleasing format.
Honestly I expected a little more newness, or even some deeper gameplay looks at those big Xbox first party AAA games ( not BTS). Was weaker than last years version. The short gamepass sizzle real was the highlight.
It was a B for me. Plenty of great looking indies that were missing from the main showcase, a shame not to give them a bit more high profile exposure. Lots coming to Game Pass especially Sea of Stars and Neon White.
But still no announcement of the cryptic "Collections of Games" Phil mentioned would be here when he was on Kinda Funny.
Agree with @Darylb88 it wasn't as good as last year. I think a few things from this need to be in the showcase and vice versa.

At this point are we really sure? lol
Have my eye on Towerborne because I'm a HUGE fan of The Banner Saga, so I'd been waiting very patiently to see what Stoic would do next. Towerborne was not what I was expecting, but what was shown today was definitely also not what I expected after Sunday's showing, so a lot of plot twists there.
Sea of Stars on Game Pass, after initially skipping Xbox altogether, is huge.
Go Mecha Ball, I'm a huge sucker for games where you play as a marble, be it Marble Madness on NES or Marble Blast Ultra on Xbox 360. I'm here for it.
Appreciated the gameplay of Lightyear Frontier, I'll play that with my wife and some friends.
Not sure what to make of High on Knife not having Justin Roiland in the trailer. If he's not in it, sorry I'm not going to buy it. It's a comedy game and he's why it's funny.
And 33 Immortals looks really interesting, I'll definitely be trying that out. I'm a sucker for big chaotic multiplayer games.
Keanu.
Had zero expectations going in, massively benefitted from that, B.
Regret spending time watching it but there were some highlights.
Not for me, but seeing DLC for Hi-Fi Rush was cool.
High on Life knifey DLC has me pumped.
First Descendant looks interesting, I guess I could try it right now on PC if I really wanted to see what its all about...
Sea of Stars coming to Game Pass, not sure if that was confirmed before but thats awesome. I was looking forward to that game.
There was a cool indie reel "Developer Acceleration Program" that had some cool looking stuff, but I feel that should had been part of the regular showcase.
Same for the 10 indie games coming to game pass (including Sea of Stars and The Book Walker, two games I had on my Steam wish list)
Despite regretting watching it (would have rather caught up on a quick recap article) I dont think I would rate it low since it was clear this was going to be "extended" and full of marketing fluff (like Paris going to a warehouse with props.)
I'd say it was a solid showcase, ranked it a B. Nice variety of games shown more in depth and some of the surprises like the Hi-Fi Rush update and the ID@Xbox stuff were cool but I would say a fair amount of the surprises should've been in the main showcase instead of Extended.
A!
Even better than the last one
I didn’t watch it but getting Neon White, Sea of Stars, and Another Crab’s Trash is awesome. Those were all on my wish list.
B from me, would have liked them to merge the Forza deep dive into it and maybe go more in on those 13 indie titles they rushed through.
But overall pretty solid, what I expected from the show that has more "dev-focus"
Solid B! I liked this one better than the last one perhaps. There was more for me, personally. Seeing Gamepass acquire some really solid looking indies was exciting. Gamepass looks like it’ll be in the best shape it’s been in quite a while very soon.
I say a C because nothing was gameplay to answer the big questions like perfect dark , Indiana jones and state of decay that was used to tease us years ago … just doesn’t make any sense
Mediocre! Nothing really grabbed my attention.
All I wanted was some Perfect Dark footage and the next Killer Instinct announced 😭
(Basically anything Rare).
Come on Microsoft, use the bloody IP you already have!
Solid B - as expected. It was always going to be a 'secondary' show to supplement their MAIN showcase, not a second Showcase and it that respect, it was as expected.
As for Hellblade, not all games are 'strong' on their Game-Play and some don't really have much Game-play at all - not saying this has 'no' game-play, but it could be more of an immersive 'interactive' movie. The point was to show how much care and detail they are putting in to the Story and capturing the actual Actors 'performances' to make that story as 'impactful' as possible - it was a pivotal cut scene in the game (at least that's what I gathered from the Show).
The extended Show was always going to be more discussions with Devs etc on some of the games they showed before and show of some of the Smaller games that didn't make the main Show - hence 'extended' showcase. Taking the bits that 'drag' a standard Showcase out for many, instead focusing on game after game after game so these bits 'form' the Extended Showcase...
Until people understand that Format and don't 'expect' another 'Showcase' to show off all the Big AAA games they didn't talk about, then you will be Disappointed....
@themightyant How do you do that quote thing, looks cool, thanks Ant?
@SBandy1 Loads in their bag still, I'm glad they held stuff back and some stuff isn't quite ready yet.
Cheeky Phil has a few things up his sleeve for sure.
I can't get ever how good Fable Looked, that Engine!!
As for the showcase I gave it a go, was ok a C for me, was interesting, but was travelling home so missed some bits and the gems.
Looks like it was received well, so that is a good thing.
@Episode_13 Search 'BBCode' (if I type it will turn to code) But note:
@themightyant I thought it might be HTML, you've lost me, so there's secret Formatting he-he! I don't know if I want that much power!
The Sauce might be too much for me!
