Does this feature MP Online stuff, I assume no?
If so how many people can play this online in one race if it does have online MP?

@mac_da_man Hoping maybe the back catalogue goes into game pass just for nostalgia, I've just purchased MW3 for £30 using key site, as my friends kept nagging me. I prefer BF and Halo but enjoy COD MP as it's quick daft fun, will give it a go tonight maybe. Good shout Mac.

@Gamer_X Dunno Halo MP is amazing and I still enjoy many BF games, COD is COD, so yeah it has the casual power across the market. But is COD still amazing no, but it's very popular, hoping this one is good

I've always been here and only had one account, what are you on about? I've been quiet and Xbox has been awesome. I have a family and I've been enjoying a Discord community at the weekends, I don't play Xbox a lot currently, only at weekends also I don't use websites as much currently, chill out!

I've played this game 2 nights running with 6 to 8 people, it is very good, great production value, good maps, good animation and polish, the MP is very good with friends. It's hilarious a game I sweat playing as I get so into it ha-ha!

the controller is a great, hope that comes out next year! It's needed. Some bells and whistles please Xbox at a good price.

That new controller and a new Series S revision and X is a great idea to attract new comers. I will try and get a controller for sure.

@FraserG well it will be cloud based but not a huge lost, Ubi already have games on game pass, will see. Not the end of the world.

Makes sense, get it done, the UK and the CMA are deluded.
Just get it done then we can all move on, seems sensible.
Hopefully it benefits all and the consumer the most.

@PhileasFragg Price is ok, as ever it will come down or offers will appear for wraps I hope.

@SecretAgentCat It's horses for courses, Xbox has better Ui overall with fast parties and the excellent snap menu from the left, that is customisable and fantastic and fast.

I found Sony UI confusing and a mess, not that I've used it much, but when I tried to at a friends, was weird.

I do appreciate the minimal look of the PS5 home page, but everything else is a bit plop

@SecretAgentCat Sony Dashboard looks nice, but then you open the god awful menus and the cluster feck of it all is poor.
Plus you get loads of stuff added later, like Pins and Folders, can take years for Sony to sort, plus tons more scrolling.

This is a non story, the games and apps are at the top, the new dash is fine

@RBRTMNZ eh. I just want the game to release and stuff that isn't priority to be added later. Split screen is not priority regardless of what people say. It's a dying mode. Of course it's great if it was there. But it's not needed for millions on release is my issue.
Praise and support the game where needed. The mode will come. But we have to accept triple A games are difficult to run split screen.

Lies of P and Starfield are amazing gets indeed.
Then the rest are great little games to enjoy, indies, Double A's etc. Stellar month indeed.

As a long term Game Pass fan, this has to be one of the best September's or Month for the service in history, all Excellent game by their own right and a fantastic mix, these were saved up for reason, Xbox is about to smash September with these gems for sure 💚🎮⭐👍✅

@RBRTMNZ it's subjective my friend, but it's not a big deal to the fanbase of Forza and most gamers. That is plain to see on votes and polls I've seen.

@RBRTMNZ You've lost me, but nearly everyone in thread doesn't want the game delayed for the sake of Split screen, that will damage Xbox massively, just get it out, plus split screen will come later. As usual for a select few it's massive outrage when it shouldn't be.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner Oh I know full well Xbox has had some ups and downs, they have a rocky history, but also some great come back stories etc. I've watched all the documentaries. 360 was a great gen but has some fascinating stories.

I'm an Xbox fan, and that is a good thing, I don't hate any other console, just don't care as much that's all. I've always wanted a PS2, probably their best console. I've had a Dreamcast, a Gamecube and more. All ups and downs.

First console I had was NES OR SNES

Xbox is Xbox and is doing some amazing things, will see how it goes, but it's in a great place for me at the moment, growing and moving forward etc.

@somnambulance just can't agree with any of your comments.
Playing a game locally split screen only is crazy.

Halo MP is fantastic, of course is subjective.
But the majority of users will be playing FORZA MS online and with their friends, also the game is always online, so local might be tricky in some modes.

I find it madness to dismiss any game due to Split screen.

Xbox has had a strong year, only miss step is Redfail etc.
BG3 is coming, that is a Series S and time and spec constraint etc.

I also have game pass, so will play it there, game pass is fantastic.
Couch Coop isn't massive is my point.

I think Xbox is in a good place, of course there's room for improvement, but 2023 has been very strong, plus 2 big hitters to come and more.

It's looking good! Also Indie games have been amazing!

@somnambulance you clearly aren't an Xbox fan, also Halo Infinite is in a good place now, player numbers decent on Steam and even higher on Xbox. Some great updates and I've been playing more. It's doing well

@somnambulance I can't believe people are buying a triple A racing gaming an only playing it locally, that is madness, you will miss out on so much content and game play, you are in the tiny tiny minority. Playing a game split screen isn't the best way to play any game, especially not Forza.

The mode is coming, I can't believe people put so much time and effort into play split screen.

you're not going to get the excellent performance and graphics on an LG Oled 4k ETC playing split screen.
Also there will be times when you can you know race without your wife and enjoy the game fully.

Mario Kart is an excellent game, I'd recommend that for you!

I'd be insane to play this game local only, my friends would be like wtf are you doing haha!
