MS almost lost Starfield, glad MS stepped in, Sega would be a perfect fit for Xbox and Sega would welcome that with open arms for sure, they worked together in Dreamcast days and Xbox OG days!

Game pass is excellent value even if it was indies and double As. The value is immense.

The more I hear Jim talk the more I'm beginning to dislike him. I mean I wasn't a fan of him to begin with. Disc isn't needed, I know people like it, but it's a waste, Alan Wake 2 isn't on disc. Starfield is huge, would it even fit on disc, it's just a physical key at this point a disc. Not sure why the massive over reaction on other sites. I've not bought a disc for about 5 years.

@gollumb82 not sure I agree. I don't get any toxicity. I just play online games. Halo and Battlefield mainly. Are fantastic MP games. I wish you luck. Single player isn't as fun for me personally. The thrill of playing and beating other humans is great or working together etc. I'm nearly 40 I just want to make sure the older chaps don't ditch online. You're all still welcome.

@themightyant EG is run badly admin and the regulars are horrendous at times. I post one positive comment and I get jumped on. I've had people tell me on here that they witnessed it and are glad I'm here. It's a bad place to support Xbox. Ridiculous at times over there. I've had 2 or 3 people say I took a crap ton of abuse for no reason. You've seen it many times. As for push square. Don't care about them as I don't have a PS console for now.

@themightyant disagree I'm afraid. Sony and the clueless CMA are the only ones looking bad. MS have been decent and fair for years now. Jim has lied so many times now. They were going to take more games away from Xbox than ever. Let that sink in. I've also checked EG and their coverage has been so poor and bias. I've seen some of your comments against Xbox over there. Disappointing from many others at EG. That community is on its last legs I can see. I went into own thread and over 20 comments or more were deleted haha. And I was one of the good ones. I'll be back in July.

The more that comes out the more my dislike for Sony and Jim grows. The Fact Sony tried to take a bunch of games away from Xbox would have literally been criminal. They get away with so much BS its unreal. This isn't about Bias. Sony want Xbox dead. No Sony fans can defend that. MS had to make Starfield exclusive as sony fecked MS and Xbox around with other deals. That's all there in black and white. I will be telling my friends this on party chat soon. As that is damming stuff. Imagine if Sony has got these Bethesda games. Xbox would be potentially dead. Sony killed the Dreamcast. We can't have Xbox leaving the market. They are amazing and deserve to be here. Online gaming was made beautiful by them. Halo 2 alone and party chat and Xbox Live etc. We need Xbox as much as we need Nintendo and Sony.

@BAMozzy never played online? It's 2023. I really can't understand people that don't play online. That was what blew me away with Xbox Live and Halo 2 etc. Online is the best thing about gaming. Playing other humans. It's fantastic. Made new friends etc. I can't imagine not playing nearly any game online now a days. It's also fun to play other humans rather than AI. Just my thought. I'm 39 now and still think online is vital to me at least.

How old are these games. I think MS have done well to keep online at all. Can someone give me their age and then the average time a company keeps these games running. MS normally keep games running for ages. I'm sure they have done here. Other games and companies shut serves off after a few years at times

@themightyant rarely has Phil said anything negative or dodgy. People want him to be more passionate and less corporate. He's amazing. The more you see of Phil the more you see how a great and unique leader of Xbox he is. Smashes Sony and Nintendo out the park for public speaking and just a real gamer too. You only have to see him on Twitter to know he's a genuine nice guy. You can see that. It's not business talk with Phil most of the time. He's not all suit and trousers. @Cashews were not corporate stooges. As I've stacked my game pass ultimate until 2025. The value is in insane. No one should be paying monthly for game pass. You can stack in bulk cheap.

Also these hikes for the subscriptions are very low.
Raising the console price is a shame. But it was coming and Phil said that. But most of us have a Series X now.

People can get far more deals on Series X and game pass easily across the web. CD keys for example.

Not a big deal at all. Game pass Ultimate has gone up by a few £s is nothing. Most of us here already have a Series X. Sad to see the console price increase. But the game pass stuff is hardly anything and still an absolute bargain. So no massive suprises here. Anyone moaning needs to wake up. Sony did this first. Also you can still stack game pass. Mine is stacked until 2025. So I'm safe.

Season 4 is the best season I've played thus far, played for 1hr 30 mins last night, was epic. The Infection maps have a great atmosphere and a new layout and map expansion new areas etc.

Also the Forest map is amazing, and probably my favourite map thus far. It's beautiful, the Art team for that map deserves a raise and muchos Kudos.

I even met a new friend in voice coms, good times

Played the new Season last night for over an hour, it's fantastic, the new Infection tweaks to the maps in that mode are briliiant fun.

Also the new Forest map is amazing, looks beautiful on my Oled in 4k, the 343 art team deserve some kudos, thus far a great Season 4 update, loads added. Even met a new player to play with in voice chat by luck.

Great MP game, hope so see hype here, not negative BS.

@ZYDIO never noticed any issues, played a few team slayers, was great on Series X.

Hope your issue gets sorted, many others are playing fine, so not sure what to suggest. I have all the bells and whistles turned on, just not 120hz as I don't really need it

I get a frame rate issue or lag, but that is rare, I assumed Network issue. Will have a look later, will try Season 4 later.

@ZYDIO I meant as a test, I don't want any games running at 120 for me, not needed, found issues cropping up across a few other games. Not missing out at all, I'm happy and fine with 60 Fps.
120HZ ONLY works on a few games anyway it seems.

Will give it a go again, but it's not worth it for me. I doubt many Xbox users play at 120 etc

@ZYDIO the game doesn't need to be played at 120hz, you'll take a hit to resolution, not worth it on a 4k tv surely.

I turned 120hz off at system level for my Series X, so Halo Mp can't run at 120hz, As I don't need it to! Just my 2pence worth haha.

@Deemo37 of course, given you a heart, just don't think it was a major miss for millions of peeps. They are keeping them now.

@pip_muzz Halo 5 was a good game, MP very good, story about a 7 etc, lets not make out it was terrible, when it was received pretty well. It's not a disaster or anything.

Split screen local coop isn't a bad thing for me personally, I don't think it was needed and not a massive issue, it's a negative of course removing any mode, but to get Infinite out the door, it was a lesser of evils etc.

@ParsnipHero I think the story will get progressed just not with this update off the bat, that's what I feel

@pip_muzz this isn't true, the Halo games that 343 have made have been decent, that is fact. People still even on this site like to crap on the best MP I've played on Halo.

Of course it needs work, but it's better than the other Halo games MP wise for me! Just plays so well!

@ZYDIO I play on Series X last night, with LG Oled, no issues, what has happened my friend with you setup? 120hz I haven't tried as seems over kill, I want the 4k 60 fps on my console, looks amazing!

@Kienda this is an harsh take, 343 have had huge cut backs and senior staff leave, new leadership has taken over, please please give them a break, 343 have talent and need time.
A lot of massive figures have left the studio! This is them being honest and transparent. The content looks to be amazing, so a cinematic is not a massive loss at all!

The Cinematic can be worked on later or dropped into the menus in a months time not a big loss.

Long as there's new game play content, new maps, weapons, gadgets, game modes etc etc, were all happy.

Season 4 is looking to be amazing, that new Forest map looks beautiful!

Excited for Season 4. Halo is finally in a good place. It's strange even here people are saying it's dead. It's clearly not. This might be the best season and the boost it needs. MP is fantastic game play wise and the content is good. Keep this up and Halo will be back.

This is Halo Xbox fans will support it, I know I do!!
