@themightyant Fully agree Ant, It's still not affordable and not enough up take for me at all.

I also worry about the space and convenience etc and the ease of use, I want it to be light and modern and the best it can be.

PS5 Version is an excellent bit of kit, but I don't think it's doing that well, and I worry support will stop in 2 years. Plus I'm not in the Sony eco system.

It will come to Xbox via 3rd party maybe.

@Dan1283 we want we many indie games as possible. I can't agree with this comment. Game Pass is the home of the Indies for me now. They nearly always thrive on the Service. Keeps it fresh and exciting. End of June looks packed. Be positive it's not a bad thing. More games in more peoples hands.

That sonic game looks interesting for a good nostalgia hit and some new bits and bobs. Will deffo have a look 😊👍

@Kienda you should have said this in your first comment. Perfect. Woke isn't a bad thing. Playground games are well known for their diversity and inclusive nature. Look at Forza Horizon 5 character additions. Just assumed you were being negative. You know more than me. Also I'm a liberal lefty. I'd rather be woke then Right or Far right. As then you get into the Xenophobic, Homophobic and all the other negative connotations. Just my view. Also voted Remain if that helps. Brexit looks to have been a disaster across the board.

@Sol4ris MS have helped, but Phil admitted he should have stepped in earlier or reached out. Xbox have a more of a hands off approach to all these devs, which normally works well.

Arkane here messed up, I think they should update and update and update, just keep going! If the game is in a better position in a years time great! I will wait for the 60 Fps patched, the updates need to keep coming!

@Markatron84 True, but there games aren't doing much at times, Zelda and Mario is the beautiful exception of course.

I get emails from Nintendo Sales monthly, it's indie games and their big games all games, all seem over priced, I'm like why is this Indie game 12 quid, 7 quid on Switch when it's on game pass.

I just find the eco system and pricing a bit frustrating. I got MKX digital cheap the other day on the Xbox Store, wanted it digital as I have it on disc somewhere. The price was amazing as the game is old and the price dropped respectively, Nintendo don't do this for many games at all, especially their first party. Just find it draining!

The entry level to be a Nintendo gamer now a days for users and families is bleddy high, plus you have to get a pro controller as the Joycons aren't great and do break.

Nintendo are amazing, but they are still Nintendo and still do what they want, they've got away with it with the Switch, as it's sold gang busters and fine, but I didn't want a hybrid, I want a proper console, this is me being subjective of course!

Where is my Gamecube 2!!??

@themightyant Nintendo take ages to release games, and I've not been impressed with the value. Game Pass just has so much value so I rarely buy games on the Switch Oled. Mario Kart is great fun but I don't really have any other major games, as it's just a lof of money per game! Frustrating indeed.

@themightyant I agree with everything Phil said in that video, you could tell he was upset a bit down, he admitted it was a tough week etc.

Phil is transparent and for a CEO or Manager of the Xbox wing it's refreshing to see him turn up and take it on the chin.

I've always loved Phil for interviews, public speaking and actually being a gamer.

@themightyant a few others have confirmed parts of the Giant fight is also game play, if you're quick you can see it.
I really hope the game looks this amazing. If you think about how beautiful Forza H4 and H5 looks imagine that world but a slower moving character, you can ramp up the foliage, the wildlife the lighting. Been thinking about it a lot as I play Forza H5

@Kienda Nothing wrong with Wokeness, I'm 39, the character looked cool, Fable has a character creator anyway. Forza H5 has a lot of inclusive stuff which is fantastic, it's 2023, we need bionics limbs, hearing aids, LGBTQ+ in games, it makes sense. People want to be represented etc.

I'm a lefty Liberal, so wokeness I guess is normal, it's just about being inclusive and fair. People like to be dicks on the internet! That's the issue, the character looked cool, more of a tom boy look!

@Krysus it's a trailer, HUD isn't needed, I've watched a few podcasts now, Jeff Grubb has said yep was game play in there in part. Looks fantastic! Playground are masters of open world maps, look at Forza's beauty.

N64 Perfect Dark, was a head of it's time, was amazing, you needed the expansion pack to play it for the N64. It was also and 18, the enemies swore at you when you shot them etc, was epic, headshots and swearing.

Also MP had insane bots, also you could give the AI patrol routes if you could be bothered, the scope was huge for MP.
I had so many ideas, really wanted to go back and setup some AI on MP to fight against, like a mini mission for my friends etc.

@PeteyPiranha of course. But play with them online easier and more convenient. It's cool I get it. But when you look at the game as a whole it's the one thing that would go first if you had to make cut backs basically. That's all. It sucks but it was the right call for me. Local coop isn't a massive deal I don't think.

Fantastic game and one of the best fighters ever made. I have the Dreamcast port on my Series X etc.

@AtlanteanMan true, have a heart. I'm an older gamer now, so Online and privacy in my own smaller home is essential, it's where Xbox thrives for me, is the Online community.

@PlayAnywhere I just love Xbox and it's my main hobby for now, along with Football, watching it and geeky things. Xbox has done so much good for gaming in my personal view. Love the online aspect etc.

@mac_da_man It's good, been there over 8 years, just a bit toxic and draining at times, certain users hound and get away with loads of stuff. Just had a look, it's ok but the wars are raging still

PX is amazing, forums and everyone is so cool and welcoming.
Plus Xbox detail and information is spot on. I like EG, but I get hounded there, already met a few people on here that had to leave the site (EG) which is sad. People walk around that place like the EG Mafia at times, crazy! I was never rude or mean to anyone either, yet some of the stuff said to me on a daily basis was ridiculous at times. Many got banned thankfully.

@mac_da_man Refail needed another year, I have a sneaky suspicion they may turn that game around, could take a year or so. But a lot of people enjoyed the concept and idea, I know a few people who liked aspects of it. The execution was poor of course. No excuses it's a bad game. I just really hope maybe it gets a redemption arc of some kind, would be a great story if so.

I appreciate Sony and their craftmanship of the big hitters, I just never really entered their eco system, as I don't find the value that great, plus just think Xbox is better at the online gaming I prefer that's all.

Sad to hear you had trouble to, I might leave EG soon too, real shame as some of the people there are lovely.
I had a look back today, and one dude was positive about Xbox and about 3 others called him out, just ridiculous. I swear a bunch of them run the site at times. I have a nice contact at EG who helped me many times, just bizarre. Admins seem off too at times. I will be back there in July to see what is happening.

@themightyant I agree, keep some stuff back, the event was widely regarded across most media I've seen a great success, a superb variety. I gave it an 8.5 as I wanted more from certain genres etc. Starfield and the scope alone blew me away.

Phil has plans and regardless of the fanboys saying he's useless, we have to remember he saved Xbox when he took over, he seems like a genuine chap and a gamer. I don't care if he's big Corp he comes across nicely and is a great public speaker. Plus his obsession with Vampire Survivors is awesome haha! I think he 1000GS that game or something.

Xbox did a good job, and I'm even more excited for Fable now, that trailer was gold for me. Helps that Richard Ayoade is a national treasure, they just need to get Matt Berry to play a villain now or something! ha-ha!

Really nice of you to say dude, means a lot, as I was worried most people were just out to get me, even some of the regulars started to take the piss and analyse my every move, was so weird.

@PlayAnywhere tell me about it, if I say woo Game Pass, woo Phil is doing a good job. I was actively hounded daily, I left the site for nearly a year. Currently one of them has got me banned for a month. Just give up! I love EG, but some of the people are horrendous on there. You say one thing or a simple opinion about 5 regulars jump on you. It's way more toxic over there currently.

@AtlanteanMan Also Halo has a tiny store and MT's are very low and don't affect game play at all. I use the Battle Pass as you can earn that back each 3 months. I've not purchased cosmetics, people like them and they support the devs. Halo's shop is also far less aggressive then say COD which I play too. I also play BF2042 and the store doesn't pop at all. Occasionally and advert on loading the game, that's it. So I don't get the aggressive nature of MT's being present at all currently.
COD is probably the worst. Also I have the BP for BF 2042 earnt by completing the other one, was cool.

I have a wife and a small flat, no way am I playing local games in a small box room that is our office. Online is far far more popular. I was glad they stopped local coop split screen if it meant getting the game out and in a good shape and they did, it reviewed well.
What they need now is a steady flow of content and that is coming, the last few updates have been awesome.

@SuntannedDuck2 GT Sport was plop, so not sure, the new GT is decent. That is a long comment, will try and let it sink in first.

@zgillet game pass has definitely supported the game. Trust me. They don't need more money. The controller and the watch already sold out haha. But I get your point. But no one should be avoiding game pass to buy. As it's tough times at the moment. We need as many people as possible to play this as it could be game of a generation. Who knows!

@InterceptorAlpha true their take on it does look good. The Infected Ai is a cool touch. Seems they may have nailed it. Need to see the trailer now I'm home!

@TheSimulator you've lost me. Anyway. The MP is the best thing about the game currently and the excellent forge and community. I don't think campaign stuff is coming for years.

I think you may a bit out of the loop, there's loads of armours cosmetic wise. What your saying hasn't been in any Halo from the start.

I'm glad Phil has held some games back though, as clearly some gems kept in the locker, also some games just weren't ready he said in an interview afterwards. I'd recommend the giant bomb interview. He says he doesn't just go hey teams give me a vertical slice, that's not how it works, the devs when ready if they are ready show stuff etc.

@Suda52 yeah it's definitely a thing I've seen on Twitter and EG, I think some people think this game is gonna be Combat all the way, clearly isn't from what I can see!

In regards to gameplay, it does seem a bit odd were not seeing combat, but I really think the game isn't based on that! People need to stop comparing this to God of War, it's nothing like that!?
There's no comparison, Hellblade I think is more about the story and emotion etc, Combat has been looked at and revamped apparently, but I don't think it's the core of the game it seems for now, I could be wrong!

@SacredPYRO Cool will see, what ever has happened it look good, that's all that matters Maybe Bethesda have matured into a fine cheese or wine haha!

I work in IT for a Legal firm and the UK Legal system is the best in the world from my little knowledge. So no idea why UK would follow the US.

Just want the whole thing sorted, it's a mess, ABK will go through, 40 countries now have said yes, seems like a no brainer. Just frustrating for fans and all, red tape and more BS.

Not amazing, the rest of the game looks stellar!
It's going to be swings and round abouts for many, but they will have nailed certain aspects for sure. The scope is huge, so I expect some tiny short comings in certain areas.

@Mastodon3954 Also just heard something in a podcast, the sandwiches being stole is heavily taken from Skyrim, where you can steal wheels of Cheese and buckets etc. That Engine has some great features, yes bugs, but imagine going to a space ship, hi-jacking it and stealing an ornament or object then taking it back to your ship and dumping it on a shelve of a table would be hilarious and fun.
