10 years is a long time, CoD might not even be this popular by then. Just because its successful today doesn't mean it'll be successful in 10 years time.

The franchise might just lose a chunk of popularity.

I think this game was announced in 2019. It was featured as a upcoming game for xbox in 2020 on xbox wire. Lmfao

Still feels like the xbox one generation is going on. There's nothing which screams next gen. So I don't see why a pro version of these consoles would be needed? What gap would it even fill? Except greed in these corporate companies

FPS selection on gamepass is actually very very good. I still haven't played Deathloop and Wolfenstein 2. Both are on my backlog.

@Dezzy70 that would be crazy if it's not on gamepass. Might just be a editing issue. I'd be very very surprised if it's not gamepass. It'll have quite a big backlash

@Tharsman that would no longer be Forza Hoirzon. What you've described is Riders Republic or The Crew. Sure it would be a big change but might mean the brand loses its identity and conventions that make up the Horizon dna.

I mean it's a racing game, the only Gameplay it has is driving a car. Doesn't really matter what setting there is in the background it will always feel "the same". That's just how sports games are, whether it's racing, football or basketball. It's always going to be the same, as you are constrained by the rules and boundaries of the sport.

The only thing they can do is put bigger gaps between games, maybe have 1 per console generation instead of 3 or 4.

@themightyant I know I agree with you, I wasn't even the one comparing. It's this @sebatrox he seems to be hurt by every single comment I make. I think he has some sort of psychological issue. If you see my initial comment I said hifi rush was one of the best games of the year for some reason he brings up forspoken which has nothing to do with anything.

@Sebatrox yeah sure. That makes perfect sense 👍. I guess even the beta testers and developers didn't feel like beating hifi rush since the completion rate next to people played is so low 👍

@Sebatrox average completion is 43% for forspoken 🤡. So nearly half of the games user base completed the game yet only 11% of the user base for HiFi rush completed the game 🤡

One of the best games of the year. Sad that only 11% of players have beaten it.

Final Fantasy 16 isn't coming to Xbox and will probably be one of the best games of the year.

Starfield is one of the biggest games of the year and isn't coming to Playstation.

It all sounds fair. Each console has its Exclusives. Time to move on.

Most Xbox players don't finish games. Deathloop main story Completion is only 8% and HiFi Rush is only 11%. Very very low numbers for some great games

Last night finally finished the borefest that was Final Fantasy 7 Remake only because I hate not finishing games. It's game number 9 that I've finished so far this year.

I'm currently playing Batman Arkham Asylum and inFamous 2. Also planning on starting Ratchet & Clank.

MK is my favourite fighting game series. Mortal Kombat 10 was such a good game. Remember playing it during the lockdown in 2020.

The Gameplay alone wasn't what I was expecting. It looks bad and now the whole "live service" aspect, this might end up being Avengers 2.0

@Tharsman @kaloudz I think Ubisoft is High unlikely. However I think Square is going to happen. Both Playstation and Square have a long history and you can see Square back away from xbox almost completely this generation with the mainline Final Fantasy games being exclusive to Playstation. It wouldn't be "that big" of an acquisition and Square is pretty just a final fantasy studio now. With the exception of the odd game here and there like Forspoken.

With all the companies now supporting the deal, there's no chance its going to fail now. I think end of August it will be completed.

This is Going to change Gaming landscape forever. Will be interesting to see what Sony does next once the deal is done. Do they go on a shopping spree and acquire more studios or do they make more 3rd Party games exclusive to the platform.

Future years for gaming are going to be very intense and interesting between Sony and Microsoft.

I can certainly see Xbox pushing the game pass price up significantly after this deal is completed. There is no way its going to stay at the current price point for much longer and I think the jump will be significant due to the value they'll be adding.

I just watched the skillup review. He doesn't recommend the game and he says the enemies are extremely bullet spongy, with the game over staying its welcome due to high running time. I had both of these concerns after watching the previews. I'll be skipping this one.

It still got a better score then I thought it would. I predicted a 5/6.

Final Fantasy 16 is another one not on Xbox and that game looks incredible. If the combat has improved since FF7 remake and the game is not as padded then that could seriously be something special.

I finished OlliOlli World a couple of days ago.

I'm currently playing inFamous 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

I saw a preview on this by gamespot. They mentioned that the game has lot of conventions from the "souls-like" genre In addition to the game being over 25hrs and some enemies taking a while to beat. After that I stopped looking forward to the game. Might not be for me personally

I'm currently playing FF7 Remake on Playstation. It's not a bad game but it is uncessarily padded out to the max. I'm 20 hours in and still have 6 chapters to go. Just want the game to end already.

5 was terrible. Had so many problems. The constant enemy encounters were a game breaker. Couldn't travel 2 mins without being attacked.

Depends on the game, something like Hogwarts Legacy and Elden Ring wouldn't benefit from gamepass. It would hurt sales, but for something like I am Fish it's probably beneficial. As it wasn't going to sell much in the first place.
