Xbox Game Pass Sensation Hi-Fi RUSH Has Already Been Played By Two Million People

Such an amazing game. More people need to give it a shot.

One of the best games of the year. Sad that only 11% of players have beaten it.

@Sebatrox average completion is 43% for forspoken 🤡. So nearly half of the games user base completed the game yet only 11% of the user base for HiFi rush completed the game 🤡

@KaijuKaiser game sales say absolutely nothing when the game releases day one on a subscription service.

@Sebatrox yeah sure. That makes perfect sense 👍. I guess even the beta testers and developers didn't feel like beating hifi rush since the completion rate next to people played is so low 👍

Why everyone have problem with QTE?

@Sebatrox a half priced game sold more then a full priced game and was launched on a subscription service day 1 but still has far lower completition rate? Lmfao nice one!

@themightyant I know I agree with you, I wasn't even the one comparing. It's this @sebatrox he seems to be hurt by every single comment I make. I think he has some sort of psychological issue. If you see my initial comment I said hifi rush was one of the best games of the year for some reason he brings up forspoken which has nothing to do with anything.

@Sebatrox I think you have more fun on pure xbox then the actual xbox.

These ninjas out here really trying to make Forspoken look not-atrocious.

Great little game, shame it didn’t get a few more players or sales etc.
now a days you really need to release something amazing or known, like Hogwarts with big advertising etc to get big player counts and sales.

@KaijuKaiser Going off what @Friendly wrote Also, keep in mind the NPDs is revenue based. The game was 30 dollars; it would have sell double the amount of a typical 60 dollar game to chart.

Beat it a few days after launch. Great surprise of 2023.

@themightyant I wouldn’t consider them QTEs. QTEs are literally just simple button presses you have to press “quickly”. These were about rhythm and timing. As a rhythm game lover I actually enjoyed these sections. Probably because they were fairly easy for me. But I do get where they would be annoying to most. I just wouldn’t consider them QTEs so much as rhythm game sequences.

Best game I've played in a long time. Only thing that beats this for game of the year is potentially Zelda. When I rolled credits I was gutted it was over. A very special game.

Good game, very fun through first half. Then it quickly gets samey and introduces required parries and QTE... And people drop off (including me). Shame, I would have loved if there was an accessibility option or something to just skip QTE.

I've played it and it's one of the best games I've played in the last decade.
Sony may have the polished story games, Nintendo the gameplay first and foremost masters, but Hi Fi Rush hit such a great nostalgic, hack n slash, fun (who cares about being serious) point that it rates as one of my top 5 games of the decade!

@themightyant but the game doesn't really contain any QTE's! Play Shenmue 1+2 (The greatest games of all time I might add!). They contain QTE's.
Hi Fi Rush contains rhythm sequences like Space Channel 5, Guitar Hero and other great games before it.

@themightyant oh for sure! I was just meaning that one of the complaints was the qte but I just wouldn’t consider them QTEs.
