Fortnite continues to grow and evolve in huge ways with pretty much every new season of content - truth be told, it can be hard to keep up with what's going on in Epic's ever-popular battle royale. However, reports of a first person mode coming to the game next season have piqued our interest.
Well-known Fortnite content creator HYPEX has reported that a first person mode is coming to the game during Chapter 4, Season 2.
For now, we don't know the exact form that this new mode will take, but a first person mode could be very interesting for the game's future. A lot of the current roster of popular BR games are first person shooters under the hood, so maybe Fortnite is trying to compete with those in the long term.
The mode's addition to the Season 2 lineup is yet to be officially announced by Epic - the dev hasn't even fully confirmed its launch date for the new season yet. Even so, Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 is expected to arrive March 9th, as the game's current season is scheduled to conclude on March 8th.
