Re: Indie Dev Prefers Selling Games Outright Despite 'A Pretty Good Deal' With Xbox Game Pass

Chaotic_Goat

One thing is certain, if the game is on GP I won’t pay for it on top of my subscription. I mean, I don’t buy the movies I watch on netflix, that would defeat the purpose. BUT If microsoft had a refund policy similar to Steam or if we had more demos I’d buy more indies full price though. My wishlist is full of them but I’ve been burned by bad games more than once so I wait for discounts.

Re: Poll: Which Of These Is Your Favourite Arkane Title On Xbox Game Pass?

Chaotic_Goat

Arkane is my favorite studio and that’s why I’ll wait before playing Redfall. I know some stuff can’t be fixed but I still want to play it in its best possible state. I really hope Dishonored 3 is in active developement over there because the franchise is everything I love in gaming but at the same time I am so ready for a sequel to Prey

Re: Xbox Console Exclusive Wins BAFTA 'Best Game' Award, Beating Elden Ring And God Of War

Chaotic_Goat

@Stocksy if you love open worlds and exploring everything then go ahead you will love Elden Ring because the world is amazing and the exploration will make you over leveled for most bosses. Optional bosses are something else though. But there is one thing that made the experience so much more enjoyable, an interactive map. I like knowing where to go and not having my time wasted. I finished it 3 times. It’s an imperfect masterpiece

Re: Xbox Game Pass In 2023: The Full List Of Everything Announced So Far

Chaotic_Goat

@sjbsixpack for some people maybe but if a game is not new but is a game I’m interested in, 99% of the time I’ve already played it so that’s why PS Extra has no real value to me. Even this early in the year I already know that gamepass will have for 700$+ worth of day one release games in 2023 that I want to play. The value is insane.
But for new gamers, I can’t argue the value of PS+ Extra of course

“You Either Die A Hero, Or You Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain“

This quote is pretty much Sony this generation vs the last one

-First first party to jump to the “next gen” price point
-Selling (in Canada) the PS5 20$ more than the XsX (now it’s 40$ more)
-Not letting you use the controllers you want to play PS5 games. (This is THE reason why I buy 95% all third party games on Xbox)
-Took an eternity to add crossplay
-Has a laughable “gamepass”

Re: Here's Your First Look At Xbox's New Home UI In Motion

Chaotic_Goat

Wow, what a total disaster. PS5 just added folders but you can't even put them on your main screen. The are stuck in a sub menu so it renders them pretty much worthless. For me what made the Xbox UI better vs PS5 was the folders/categories you could make and now it's gone. Pathetic

Re: Bethesda: Your Starfield Character Won't Have A Voice

Chaotic_Goat

I think it’s the right move. In term of character creation it gives you more freedom than a character with its own voice and personality.
Cyberpunk is the best exemple of that lately. I made a great character but after hearing V’s voice I deceided to completely change the way he looked because it just did not match. You don’t have this probleme with a mute character
