It's time for another round of Pick One! With September now behind us, it's time to go back and look at the entire batch of Xbox Game Pass games from last month - and pick a favourite!
Can’t pick just one. Already had GRID Legends, which is fantastic. Prodeus has been an unexpected surprise. Grounded is incredible. Deathloop is better than I thought it would be. It was a really good month for sure.
Haven't played death loop yet and already played Ac odyssey in the past so going with Ni No Kuni. The only of this list which I played this month. Such a beautiful game.
Deathloop is the best of the titles in the list, but I played it on PS5 last year, so I’m not going back to it just yet.
For me, I think Paw Patrol Grand Prix might be the Gamepass title I’ve played the most this month, so I think that says enough. It was another miss month for me with Gamepass, but at least next month is shaping up to have me spending the most time I’ve spent on Gamepass all year perhaps. Fingers crossed the new releases are strong!
Easy Deathloop, game's a masterpiece like any Arkane game since the first Dishonored, it made me finally finish the Dishonored saga, finished 2 yesterday and today Death of the Outsider, both are great
Fantastic month for GamePass with so many great games but have to go with Prodeus. It’s the best shooter I’ve played in a long time. Fans of Doom-style games should not miss it.
You look at that selection of games and then compare to the PS+ extra/premium monthly selection and Xbox are smashing it! Btw I’m no fanboy as I have both, but have been mostly disappointed with Sony’s monthly selections so far.
I've played any of Septembers games as there's nothing that really makes me wanna download it but I loved Ni No Kuni when it originally launched so I went with that
@djshep1973 Hardspace Shipbreaker for me also, amazing game, very addictive, I own Assassins Creed Odyssey, but as i play those games in order, im stll at Black Flag.
@djshep1973 My backlog is crazy too, but yeah looking at your username I guess we share the same birth year, don't have as much gametime as i would have liked, imagine having gamepass 35 years ago.....

Beacon Pines, no question for me.
Grounded is my favorite game right now.
Deathloop by miles.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Not played it myself as I played when it first came out but it’s great seeing my wife enjoy it.

Slime Rancher 2. As if there is any other answer :3
Well, I'd be Deathloop (my best game of 2021) but I played it on PS5 so I'll go with Prodeus. Finished it yesterday, great shooter.

Has anyone being playing deathloop on series X? The game is crashing a lot for me and for a game with no save system it is getting on my nerves.

Grounded, and it’s not even close, really. First survival game I’ve really gotten into that involved crafting and base building.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey without a doubt. It's such an amazing and fun game.

I loved Fuga: Melodies of Steel. Currently playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

1. Prodeus
2. Beacon Pines (finished and completed)
3. You Suck At Parking
Of course, Assassin's Creed and Deathloop are the real showcases here, but I just like these games even more.
Shipbreaker. Haven't been able to drop it yet to try Deathloop. So right now, Shipbreaker it is.
I would've chose Deathloop, but I played it on PS5 (and now replaying it on Series X), it's that great of a game, just not a new experience.
Honestly, Prodeus is the game last month that really blew me away.
Fuga was mine. Awesome, surprising game.
Loved Ni No Kuni, it really held up.
@Dusk_Actual great game for sure.
