The reason I have picked the side of Microsoft over Sony is because in the past several years they have become very gamer friendly. Instead of trying to get $70 + for every game they are willing to spend their own wallet and get major acquisitions to make Gamepass a truly excellent service. $15 a month is way more digestible than $70 for every game I want to play.

Why not just make a third one why release a big update for an ancient game? It came out 7 years ago...might just be time to make a new one

Diablo 4 and COD had deals in place elsewhere before Microsoft acquired them. Just like Deathloop when Bethesda was acquired. So once those deals play out they will be added and the new entries will be added day one moving forward

My apologies the 100 gb thing I saw floating around for Microsoft Office Basic, it was a one month free trial and $20 a year afterwards which included 100 gb onedrive access. I already have Office 365 and get 5 tb of storage lol

Having actually played the game I can say if you played Forza 7, it's a huge step up. Not only on a graphical level, but there is no microtransactions of any kind and the racing feels really responsive.

OneDrive gives you 100 gb for free. If you are taking more than 100 gb of cloud storage captures fix your life

After Mirage I don't know how many Ubisoft games I can be excited about anymore. They seem dead set at robbing their studios of all creativity and pooping out half effort games

Other than the faces yes I do think every thing else about Mirage looks on par with Assassins' Creed 4 (btw that was an xbox 360 release not an xbox one)

There was plenty of sales reports showing that Starfield helped console sales a lot, not to mention the game is on track to make Xbox a billion dollars. So it's not a failure

That's because outside of Rider's Republic Ubisoft hasn't pushed any of their teams on a technical level.

I beg anyone who is mildly curious with Mirage just buy a one month pass for Ubisoft+ (it's like $20 including the tax). You will be able to beat this short game in a weekend and paying $20 for a subpar game stings a lot less than paying $50

In a perfect world sure, in a world where Microsoft is trying to keep Gamepass Ultimate from being stupid expensive, no.

Instead of acquiring studios I would roll into these companies and cut them a fat check to simply have their catalog on Gamepass

This has been explained a million times, but I will explain it one more time. With both the Starfield and now the Forza Motorsport "early access" Premium upgrades. You get more than just early access for your $30. You get things like in Starfield's case the first DLC to launch post launch included and some other goodies, with Forza you get some cars and the VIP pass.

To answer the article's question, I've been enjoying it a lot...until I got to the Miata racing cup, so boring lol. But love the game otherwise.

Not that hard considering this looks like it was made for the Xbox One's launch

I only played the first hour but I got a month of Ubisoft+ to give it a whirl. The facial animation is nice but everything else about it feels cheap

I am three cups into Forza and having a great time. Some remarkable about it, is not once has it asked for me to purchase any premium currency or cars. Something I can't say that GT7 was kind about, that game feels like it was built with Roblox because it pesters you all the time for more money

I think $30 premium upgrades per game that includes goodies and 5 day or even a week early access is a better option that raising the price of Gamepass. Us who are willing to pay the $30 on games we are excited about keeps the overall monthly price down for those who can't afford the extra charge

It blows my mind that people can't read up on what the Premium upgrade actually is. Yes you get 5 day early access but you also get extra cards and the VIP pass (even more cars and unlockables)

Yes content creators enjoy making their early release videos and there are fans of certain games who use to buy the $99+ Premium editions for the early access and VIP pass before Gamepass and I am now pleased I still get to do that but $70 of it is taken care of by Gamepass

My next is Darktide and the Forza Motorsport

Played an hour of it and it's not terrible so far, it's not great but I do plan on getting a little deeper into it.

Digital Foundry was judging a pre-release or launch version of the game. But we live in the digital age and by now it could be patched to a much better state. I am going to try it on Gamepass cause it cost me nothing but time.

This is one title I have been waiting to play on my Xbox Series X since it was announced 3 years ago lol

This is an odd month where I want to play every single game being released in October. I hope my loved ones won't miss me too much lol

For the sheer amount of amazing games we are getting in October alone I am ok with any departures

I have played every Assassins' Creed game (yes even the 2D outings) and I can not get pumped up for Mirage. I may just buy one month of Ubisoft+ to try it out.

The way I look at it is I would have bought Forza Motosport Premium Edition if it wasn't offered on Gamepass at all. So the fact that I now get what I wanted for a discounted rate I am happy

They probably made him step down after making them look like idiots in the courtrooms trying to stop the Microsoft/Activision merger. Sony doesn't have the time or money to be wasting on frivolous courtroom cases.

It's crazy to me anyone buys $70 games anymore, especially if they have Xbox or PC. Gamepass is super affordable and so the $30 early access and extra cars option is a great value for those super into this upcoming game

The newest characters in SF6 are some of the lamest additions I ever seen. MK1 has only one dud, and that's because of her voice lol. Also the new characters coming are amazing, like Omniman. SF6 got TMNT rubber suits for a silly cost

The past several Forza and Forza Horizon games have had premium editions with additional cars. Fans of the series, myself included, know that we want those additional cars and the fact they are throwing in 5 days early access is nice.

Oh no the Sonic the Hedgehog fan who can't wait five days is done with me boo hoo. I will cry about this until Oct 5th when I can play Forza 5 days early.

For those with common sense this Premium play early deal is really a great value and I love it. The Starfield one was pretty great too because you not only got early access, but you prepaid for the first story DLC.

So since you want to hold marketing to their word, then how do your propose they let you play early and put it as part of a Premium offering, but allow any Gamepass player to also play Early?
