So we've gone from "day 1 with Gamepass", to "day 5 with Gamepass after paying extra for early access" to now "day 1 with Gamepass but only on the most expensive option".

And PC players still get it cheaper than console players.

I only have gamepass to play with my mate on pc but I'm not paying that much a year for it.

Hot damn, Resi 7 & 8 deluxe editions for £26 seems a great deal!

Maybe it's due to the Xbox and pc versions both running on directx12 Vs PS5 needing more customised work?

So the devs just aim for a generic PC to Xbox DX12 build to cover both bases but the PS5 gets more work as it's a complete separate system?

This one seems to get worse with everything I read lol - 30fps "cinematic" experience (but only on Xbox, it's not gonna be "cinematic" on PCs!) and now this black bars stuff ...

I do think there's an Xbox bias but mainly because Xbox doesn't release any games that are up to top tier Sony or Nintendo levels and also because of the god awful Xbox one launch.
That has tainted them really badly so most opinions of them are still negative - plus all the "next year will be the year" that comes out with nothing to show for it.
Being an Xbox fan seems like having Stockholm syndrome!

Lost interest in this now, after playing everything at 60fps now 30fps really gives me a headache.
Starfield strained my eyes horribly and so did having a go on Soma last night.

Just really disappointed that "the most powerful console ever" is only releasing platform exclusive "next gen" games at 30fps.....
Ready to sell my series X for a decent PC.

Should've done this and only had a disc and discless version of the Series X from the start IMO.

Seems crazy to me to pay extra to rent a game you're not going to own so you can play it a few days early.

I'm playing it, it's ok. I got a bit bored of it after playing for a while but I keep wanting to play as I like the challenge.

The atmosphere is lacking to me, but I am comparing it to Bloodborne.

I had a quick blast this morning and got to the character creation screen so nowhere in the game at all yet.

Major issues with the framerate though - it seemed reeeeallllyyy juddery and bad to me and actually made me feel a bit queasy for a while.

Looks decent but Ive never been a Fallout guy so not sure how I'll take to it.

Gonna have a go tonight again tho.

Isnt it weird that theres been no proper in game gameplay shown yet?
I just find it strange that its only pre-selected trailers, and most likely its all PC footage rather than Series X footage.

No sites have said what system it was running on when they have seen gameplay from what I can see.

Just a bit crappy and cheap to replace the section to get to your games with a store icon instead, feels a bit "slimey salesman" vibes to me.

Got myself a copy of Red Dead & Undead Nightmare GOTY 360 edition for £12.50 second-hand shipped from Gumtree.

Happy to not be giving my money to Rockstar.

Been interested in this for a while, glad to hear its good!

Im not a Fallout/Bethesda RPG guy so will likely prefer this to Starfield.
