Yeah... but I don't know. Maybe I'll get some dlc or something, but we don't even know if MS has any plans to keep Xbox around. I feel kind of weird dropping money on what could be Xbox's last console.

Well it looks like the sale hasn’t officially been added on my Xbox store, but all the actual games are discounted so I’ll have to manually search for which games are on sale until at least tomorrow when they make it official lol

At this point I plan on transitioning from consoles altogether to a PC running SteamOS or ChimeraOS — but not for a couple years still, when I expect a mini PC with an RX 7600M XT eGPU or a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU to be a lot more affordable. Sure, it will be a couple generations behind in the PC market by then, but it will be enough for me. The only exceptions for Xbox that I might still buy are games that have local multiplayer on consoles but not on PC.

@Utena-mobile don't be fooled by all these news sites. Why would they stop their console after going so big with Studios, Gamepass and so many announcements in the last stream.

Wonder if Forza Horizon 4: Ultimate Edition will have one last super low cut before the end of the year or if I should pick it up now.

I'm not completely disagreeing with you, but it IS known that Xbox wants to go streaming only. They said Stadia was their real competition a few years ago, before Stadia completely imploded on itself. Xbox has had a really bad streak as of late being two faced, so you cannot take their word at face value.

Picked up FH4 Ultimate Edition.
Interesting that Modern Warfare III is on sale on the PS Summer Sale, but not Xbox. I hope this is indication that it's about to go on Gamepass next week.

@shoeses Have a look on your Xbox store page as some people are able to get it for 90% off for some reason.

I think it'll stay cheap until it's de-listed, but 80% is pretty good for the ultimate edition, and unless money is super tight then perhaps just go for it so you can play it now rather than wait for a possible sale.

When I spend a month or two playing a long game I own I start worrying about the money I’m spending on the Gamepass I’m paying for in the background. Kinda takes the shine off.

@jumpin_jeeps, similar here. I also wonder how many people still have GPU because they stacked it up for cheap back then. Would be interesting to know how many will renew or not renew afterwards once it becomes something you actually spend money on a monthly basis.
