Well my hype levels just dropped for this. Not at that price if it's just a simple HD texture mash up.

If this does come to game pass it will probably be like Rockstars other releases where it's only on the service for a few months.

I'll wait for a sale, I could afford it with reward points but I still don't see it being worth more than £30 in my opinion.

I mean, without any competition they could literally just call the game "Football". Everyone would still call it FIFA anyway.

@Zag_Man I have also used this at Dreams, was not going to pay their prices for a mattress though 😂

I use something very similar at work. We have a Kienct pointing straight down onto a table where we lay product underneath it (very similar to Dreams). The kinect can measure the distances and then is hooked up to a PC and projector which projects a sort of heat map image onto the product and we can see any imperfections. Pretty clever stuff really.

Never used one for gaming though 🤣

I enjoyed my time with the game playing the campaign over the last week, however......

I did not realise there was a 4x XP event on during my playtime. Played the Kate Bishop expansion and got to level 31 which was cool, just starting to feel powerful. Played the Hawkeye expansion with out the XP event and got to level 7, hadn't really unlocked anything new and felt like I was just starting the character still.

I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much without the bonus XP but I would still recommend people giving it ago if you have GP .
I might jump back in if they ever do another quad XP event but I leave it for now satisfied, now on to Phoenix Point.

Heads up people. There's a new 250 point punch card for getting an achievement in FIFA 22 in the UK (unsure about other regions).

Can be done with the 10 hour free trial with GPU/EA Play.

Easiest achievement to get is for setting custom tactics in FUT, you don't even need to play a match. Load up the FUT menu, go to Squad, press LT to open some options then select custom tactics. Change anything you want then press B to back out. Took about 30 seconds for the cheevo to pop.

@The-Chosen-one From what I have seen of various reviews, the end game/multiplayer content is very samey and I can imagine it gets quite repetitive. I've done a few side missions and they are always the same 3 objectives. I'm only really interested in the single player and I like it, story is interesting and the gameplay is good.

I saw some reviews that say the characters all play the same but personally I don't think that's true. If you're a hulk fan I'd say he's definitely my favourite to play as.

Really enjoying Marvels Avengers campaign so that will get most of my time. I'll get some time in on the Halo beta when it's live again tonight, enjoyed it last night but had to restart the game if I ever wanted to change matchmaking. Really want to start Phoenix Point, hopefully this weekend, also got Scarlet Nexus downloaded and still yet to start Aragami 2. No doubt I'll be dropping into Warzone at some point aswell when the squads online.

So.....many.......games.......

I was really looking forward to this but now I find myself fully engrossed in Marvels Avengers that it may have to wait, I have heard the single player isn't that long though. Downloading anyway.

Love the Xcom reboots and Christopher Odds current YouTube campaign has got me itching for more turn based strategy.

Will probably pick up Disco Elysium and maybe NHL 22 if the change in engine has made a significant difference, I'll wait for reviews. Guardians of the Galaxy can wait.

I preferred TF 1s multiplayer compared to 2 but only slightly, both are outstanding but TF2 wins the vote because of the incredible campaign. My favourite FPS of all time.

That being said I love Apex Legends aswell and Fallen Order was a good game. Great studio, not put a foot wrong yet in my opinion.

@AFCC I uninstalled it after about 2 minutes. Like you said, it's very rare for such trash to be on game pass. Hope it's not a sign of things to come because up until this they have been very good a picking games for the service.

Got Aragami 2 pre installed but after watching the trailers for I Am Fish and Skatebird I will definitely be giving them both a go just for laughs.

Seems like Arkane have created another gem. Absolutely loved the Dishonored series so can't wait to play this. If I get a PS5 before this hits GP I will definitely be buying it.

I used to have a lot of fun with friends on a game called Small Arms, XBLA Smash Brothers clone. Although the sniper pig was so OP we banned him 🤣

I don't think I've ever been this hyped about a racing game.

Warzone with the lads as usual but for single player I'll be having a few runs on Hades and about to get started on Psychonauts 2 after finishing the first one last week. Maybe a little Art of Rally if I get chance.

I'm liking the look of Lost in Random but I've got enough to play and can wait for it to drop on EA Play. Will be trying Crown Trick on GP and will wait for a sale on Tales of Arise. Such a good time to be a gamer with the shear variety of experiences on offer just a shame adult life gets in the way so much.

@BlueOcean I've had the conversation just recently with a friend about Microsoft wanting subscribers not unit sales. They have a PS5 and have always played PS, not a fanboy mind just their choice, they love all games but like most can only afford a single console.

He recently upgraded his laptop to a gaming laptop and has been having a blast with game pass on it so I joked saying they have an xbox now. He only uses his PS5 now for warzone and plays most of his games through GP and has said he will keep subscribed til at least after Halo. Xbox has got him hooked without him even buying an Xbox.

I don't have a PS this gen, if Sony released something similar to the Series S I would snap one up in a heartbeat to play the few exclusives I'm interested in.

If Sony feel like the £10 price increase in PS5 games is warrented for the extra graphical fidelity and probably dual sense haptics then so be it, I understand.

I don't see people screaming out for a "free" upgrade as then there's no point in having 2 different prices for your games. What I can't understand is that with this they seem to be punishing people who can't get their hands on or afford a PS5 at the moment because there is no upgrade path.

If they said they were going to charge £10 to upgrade to the PS5 version there would be no issue but the case is if you haven't got a PS5 yet but plan on getting one you have to pay £10 more than someone lucky enough to already own one.

Smart Delivery works and works well.

I'm still early on in it but really enjoying it so far. I hope it shows there is still a huge audience for platformers out there. I know a lot of people will cry out for a new Banjo (and rightly so) but I'd love to see a Croc reboot/remake aswell.

Missed the State of Decay punchcard, I'll have a look later. Need to top my balance up after splashing out 5k for the GP for life sweepstakes and a further 5K for the Forza PC sweepstakes. Sitting at just over 50k at the moment.

Always interested in new turn based strategy games. It's the feet up, relaxed gaming I need every now and then. Definitely will be giving this a go.

I'll take 3/4. Another good month for me, GWG seems to picking up some steam.

@NEStalgia as someone gets way more value for money out of GP than say your average Joe I struggle to see how it can be profitable, not that I'm complaining.

On the flip side though I have two friends who have been subscribed to the service since launch like myself but I think the only games they have played on it are Gears 4 & 5. Would be interesting to know subscriber numbers vs player activity if those sort of stats exist.

Once MS start churning out the AAA exclusives (Halo, Forza, Starfield) then I feel the subscriber numbers will only increase and the rotation of Indie games on there will see a lot of purchases made to games that are set to leave the service.

I myself am spending more money on games than I used to because of the GP lies in my head 🤣 "Well I've not payed anything for the game so may aswell buy the DLC" I used to be very stingy when buying DLC but now I've got no issue buying season passes and I'm sure a lot of other consumers will be doing the same.

I do hope GP is profitable and sustainable as MS keeps telling us, just be nice to see some numbers on paper as proof to show the naysayers.

As much as I'm looking forward to this it will probably drop on GP or GWG at some point as the first one did. So many games to play I don't mind waiting on this.

If I didn't already have an Elite I would consider this. Looks recognisable and clean. Nice to see Elite controllers getting some limited editions.

I hate to be that guy but this has to be the most boring cinematic trailer I have seen in many years. In no way does it hype the idea of being a Spartan.

Spartans land in drop pods and I was getting excited thinking I was about to watch some Halo bad-assness......nope fade to black, fights over, everyone's smiling.

Oh hell yes. Marvel XCOM! This has me hyped.

This is going to make reward quests so much easier.

@Dezzy70 completely agree, this already looks like it will be my GOTY. The game is still months away and yet we are being treated to constant gameplay trailers and dev videos. It really does have me worried about the Halo campaign.

Midnight Fight Express and Next Space Rebels are on my radar from those. Both looking really interesting

Another 10/10 score aswell, when was the last time you gave 2 perfect scores in a month (Deaths Door)

I would have been much happier if they had remade Morrowind and Oblivion with Skyrims construction kit and bundled it altogether! Don't think I'll triple dip when I have 100% on 360 and XB1

@SithThanos the last Top 10 reward punchcard didn't unlock anything for achievements in Fable Anniversary. Maybe backwards compatible titles are bugged for these punchcards.

I'm biased being an Avs fan but it's about time McKinnon got on the cover. Hope they do something similar to HUT as they did with Fifa. I love the game mode but as someone who doesn't buy packs it's impossible to keep up with others when only playing a couple of games a week.

@NEStalgia I have to completely agree with @SplooshDmg, the game is only what you make of it. Personally I love SoT but only when playing with people I know. I think it is one of the best Xbox exclusives out there but only in the right circumstances ie with friends/family. I've tried a few solo games and just get nailed by anyone I run into.

As for the Pirates of the Caribbean stuff, I've done the first 3 tall tales and honestly don't like them. Too much story and scripted set pieces leaves me bored, the fact they are set in private instances takes away the unexpected encounters from the game that I love so much.

I'm glad plenty of people are enjoying it but back to the open seas for me.

@phoenix1 everyone is entitled to an opinion but you are commenting on an article where a gaming tech specialist has called the Series S a genuine marvel.

I love my Series X and when games stop being developed for last gen I will probably replace the wifes X1X with a Series S.

I think I'll pass on using touch controls or even xcloud for a rogue like thanks. I couldn't imagine the frustration of losing a run due to a little input lag.

Remastered/remake, it doesn't matter. Just happy to be able to play 3 and VC again. Also with a mappable controller so their wonky control schemes can be rectified if they keep them

Do we know if progress will carry on to the full game. Don't fancy playing up to act 3 if I have to start over again come September.

Current routine at the moment is get home from work and have a Curse of the Dead Gods run. From Friday onwards that will also include a Hades run. The wife will be pleased 😂

Also is that a golf course on the south west coast? That shall be my first created game mode. Do you think those 2 yellow circles near it could be dust storms?

This just looks incredible but I hope they don't do another "drive every road" achievement like FH4 🤣. That thing took me a lifetime to get on a map 2/3s the size of this.

Holy cow, that level of detail is insane, I've commented before about how visually impressive this game is but I'm doubling down on this now. The writing on that NPCs visor and the text on the magazines stand out for. You should not see this level of detail in an isometric game, let alone from a 12 person team.

@Krzzystuff This is on my "play later" list for the next 10k punchcard too. Don't know if I'll wait now though knowing it's super shiny.

I want to play Hades but still not done with Curse of the Dead Gods. Thought I would have had my fill by now but it's so good, the daily challenges are cool too.

Curse of the dead gods gets a thumbs up from me, it's definitely going to pass the time until Hades. Got Dodgeball downloaded but not touched it yet.

@Royalblues I think this is the strongest showing for a GOTY xbox has had in a while. Flight Sim and FH5 will no doubt be in the mix. I've not played it yet but judging by review scores and fan feedback Deaths Door. Maybe Halo? Although I think due to the F2P nature of the MP, content will be held back and that might go against it. Others could be Ratchet and Clank , RE Village and maybe Returnal?

Out of that list and from what I've seen Forza has the most impressive visuals and the gameplay of the Horizon games is always rock solid.
