Can't people like both? They're both really good consoles. Both have their pros and cons. The biggest difference between the two is the controller. The PS5 controller is soo different to what has gone before. But for online shooters the elite series 2 is the best. I'd love a controller combining both, cross everything the elite series 3 will do it.

Wouldn't touch a Philips Momentum monitor with a barge poll. I went for a 32" 4K one that was meant to be highly rated for consoles towards the end of 2019 for both the consoles and PC. The BLB was unbelievable, fifa and other games were unplayable. I got a replacement and had the same issue. Got a refund and bought a BenQ then ordered an LG CX OLED for the consoles. I would have no hesitation recommending the LG CX for gaming. Its honestly amazing, and still has the wow factor even though you think you should be used to it by now.

Don't agree that everything should be available on all platforms. As a few have said it gives the platform its identity. Microsoft are constantly hammered about having no exclusives. Sony is constantly praised for their exclusives. Microsoft wouldn't have bought the company if it wasn't to add more exclusives to the Xbox catalogue / Gamepass. In saying that I think they'll probably let Elder Scrolls 6 be multi platform. As that one will bring in soo much money selling everywhere.

Great set of games, but seems a bit pointless if there is nothing being added or improved. Guess it'll get the games another release on the store to try and squeeze out some more from them.

Voted for FIFA 2021 since PES 2021 was just a reskin of 2020 as they're moving to the unreal engine and they want 2022 to be their proper next gen release. I have loved master league for years but they really need to give it some attention.

Need the elite controller v3 to have haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Though would also like to keep the trigger slider options from the v2. As it's brilliant for online shooters.

Got this when it was released free on playstation. It was quite good for about a week.

Can't see there being a new PGR game, since Forza is soo good and next motorsport version has been kinda shown. Rebrand maybe? Flight simulator is def coming out. Did viva pinata do that well previously to warrant a new version?

They did so well because they told playstation owners last year that they'd have to buy the ultimate edition to get the upgraded PS5 version. Then a couple of months later the ultimate edition is added to PSN+. Sly company

Think I'll get this at some point, when it's heavily discounted. Don't think a 6 hour game is worth £45. I'm blaming Gamepass and the free monthly games. 😂 Very wary of buying games now, as they usually end up getting added to gamepass after I buy them.

I can't see this relating to Blooper, since the medium is already out. They seem to be talking about a game that's not released and isn't currently exclusive to Xbox.

@Menchi Actually "Xbox console exclusive" is pretty accurate for games that are only available on the Xbox console. You can't get an Xbox console exclusive on a PlayStation console. Key word being "console", a PC is not a console.

Anyway, I think Microsoft really need this to be completely exclusive to Xbox (and PC 🙄) to impact Sony.

I'm sure when I die GTA 5 will still be going and Rockstar won't have released another GTA game at all. It'll be like getting doom to run on a fridge, only they'll claim its a different version with some added clothes to make everyone buy it again for the 100th time.

Could be a digital version of the series X to complete with the PS5 digital. Or could be the planned name for the console refresh in a couple of years time. Xbox Series X Slim

@Blessed_Koz something sounds wrong there. 2 controllers under 1 year old are not out of warranty. As @swedetrap says you can just go onto the website to get them replaced. Same in the UK, I got mine replaced as up on the left stick stopped working. Its just a matter of logging into your account and raising a case against it.

@Anti-Matter Nice, the OG Xbox was great. Loved the green and crystal versions. If you can get an unmodded one that's been looked after you should def go for it. 360s are a bit more of a hazard when buying 2nd hand. Best getting from a store that offers a warranty. I went through 8 back in the day because of the RROD! Was there not a new dance dance game out recently or did I dream that? Hope my post didnt come across as bashing, was just suggesting sticking with those other generations.

@Anti-Matter you want kid games then go for Nintendo, that's always been the way. The Xbox has never really been geared towards that market. 360 they gave it a try but didn't really work. PS is good for the exclusives, even then I only played ghost of tsushima and fall guys on my PS4 pro this year. Why don't you just buy an Xbox or xbox 360? It's not like you can't buy them anymore. So not sure why you don't have them but have the physical games? Maybe that's the generation to stick with for ur children's and ur gaming needs. Never thought I'd read anyone pining after a kinect game. 2020 still has some surprises left it seems.

Anyway I think it's been a great year for Xbox overall. Yes there were things that could have been done better or differently. But this hasn't really been a normal year and I think the Microsoft team have done a great job overall. Think Gold really needs kick up the butt, though in saying that it did get me into the WRC games. So there were nuggets of gold (hee hee) in there. Think the series X is the strongest Xbox has ever gone into a new console generation. Mine died, but I'm putting that down to them trying to get them built so quickly. I am looking forward to being able to order another one when in stock. Gamepass is brilliant and continues to get better. The addition of EA play grew my already too big backlog even more! Happy new year everyone and roll on 2021!

As has been said, it's stupid to pay over RRP for anything. The only thing I miss about the series X is the faster load times. Though is that worth paying £450 for? Nevermind £700+!

Despite being burnt with the 1st series X, I've signed up for the draw. I never win anything anyway. 😂

@ResoluteCustoms CEX are offering people more than RRP for their consoles. In the case of the series X if you give them a boxed version they give you £100 over the RRP. Not sure I agree with everything being over priced. I've found them quite reasonable for most things.

If the snipers don't stop you from getting one, the people packaging and delivering it will.
