@Tasuki The series X version should be unreal. Really looking forward to November. Really hope they're working on Horizon 5 as well as Fable. This series is too good to drop.

I love 3 and 4 and they're def the better games. But horizon 2 has a special place in my heart. They're probably the best racing games I've ever played. Enjoy the Dirt series as well, but that can't touch Horizon.

@Iceman5x5 Yea I'd wait to see what drives are officially supported on the PS5. Like they have kept on about how fast their storage is. So you would think only top of the range ones will be supported. Also doubt they'll be hot swappable. Like a lot of things Sony have not been very honest or upfront about this new generation. Will be a few years before I get rid of the PS4 Pro because of it.

Cyberpunk and that would be another mic drop moment.

@NEStalgia @BlueOcean It was announced a while ago that the Xbox series X would support Freesync. Same as the Xbox one X.

@themightyant Ah got ya. I believe the Samsung Q80T, Q90T and Q95T all use hdmi 2.0b for their gaming port.

@Pi3rc3y @BlueOcean I saw something that said the series X will only use 40G. The 48G can be used with PCs though. Hopefully we don't have any issues like the new Nivida 30** cards. Dolby vision and atmos support with the Series X is like the icing on the cake. 😁

@BlueOcean @Pi3rc3y The B/C9s are hard to get now. I had been going back and forth between the C9 and the CX. Currys made my decision for me as they removed the C9 from their website. 😂 Would recommend them to anyone. Especially if you play in a dark or darker room, then they're just magical with the perfect blacks.

Got a LG CX about a month ago in preparation for the series X. Blown away by it, its stunning even for the one X and PS4 pro.

Blue controller looks good. I'll be sticking with the Elite 2 controller. Ms really have done a great job and making everything back compatible is another sign that they're customer focused.

The falconeer looks interesting but has future gamepass game all over it.

The other games will just be gamepass games and the free upgrades to what I already have.

Everything coming out about the PS5 has really put me off getting one. The new Spiderman was the only real game from their launch line up I wanted. Will probably leave it until the end of next year before picking one up.

Why release older versions when the new controller version is coming out. Waste of effort and money.

Def getting the series X, but still on the fence about switching the PS4 Pro for the PS5. I was way more hyped for the PS4 release than I am for the PS5. Only about 4 or 5 games shown so far interest me and most of them are not launch titles. So might hold out for a GOW limited edition version next year.

Will def be getting Dirt 5 and I've been holding off playing Gears 5 since they said it was going to be improved. Will also play some horizon 4 to see the difference.

Voted for Immortals as well. Riders Republic trying to look "edgy" like the new watchdogs game.

This is great news, but would really have been better if they could have had some new expansion to release with it.

My gamepass ultimate is up in June of next year.

Should I get the series X at launch and buy a year or 2 of gamepass on black friday / cyber Monday.

Or just hold off getting the series X until June with this deal?

That's an insane price, but it's def going to be needed. As 1TB doesn't store a lot of games. I have nearly an 8TB external full of games and an additional 10TB one to add when the time comes. It's annoying you're going to have to constantly be moving games about. Should bundle one of these with the new black ops game.

Roll on pre-order time! Great price, will be interesting to see what Sony does now. Though really hope the rumored price of the 1TB expansion isn't true! Need that extra space for the games.

I'll be getting the series X. What games do "high end" PC gamers even play now? Still CSGO and PUBG? I haven't turned mine on in a year, so it's not high end anymore. 😂 I got sick of how many cheaters there were.

I'm not sure what all the hype is for? Don't know what the point of the game is, what ur doing in the game. Are you just going to draw circles round trees and save animals? Nothing that's been shown makes me think that it's a must play game. Was 12 minutes of waffle. Positives: it looks nice for a cel shaded game and will be on gamepass.

I do like the look of both consoles. Series S is more of an evolution than a completely new design. I think the series X looks better overall.

I like the design of it, it looks closer to the one S/X design that the series X. I'll still getting the series X. Could see a lot of people being tempted to get this and a PS5. Think with this price point the series X will def be under £500. I'd guess £450 for the series X.

Samsung note 20, the series S and game pass all for one monthly price. Was also talk of Samsung TVs going down the pay monthly and upgrade after a couple of years route. Could end up being a massive monthly bundle. 😂

@NotoriousWhiz Not my first rodeo, have had it happen during previous generations. The deposit is to guarantee the product will be available for you. The money is taken off the total price of your order when the time comes to pay the balance for the product/s. Like going back I remember having to pay £5 deposit for each PS4 game along with a £20 deposit for the console. A game or two I pre-ordered with a deposit hadn't made the day 1 release. The deposit money from the games could be refunded or taken off the console. They're not going to charge you more than what the product actually is going on sale for. If they try to then report them and cancel the order. Another example is if you buy a blu-ray or dvd from amazon, they charge you the full price and then if the price drops before release they refund you the difference.

@playstation_king If Sony or Microsoft change the price and stores and retailers have started taking pre-order deposits they will just change the price at the final sale.

I voted November. At this rate both consoles will go on sale without a price. You'll have to add it to your basket and then it'll show you the price for 2 seconds before dissappearing again.

Worst new generation release in history! The lack of information being given especially so close to release is a joke. For both Microsoft and Sony.
