@Kooky_Daisuke probably because it seems to now be limited to games on the Backwards Compatibility Program which is only a portion of the games released on the OGXB & 360 so the deal works for XB1 & Seris X|S owners

Well it's not like i needed an excuse to replay the first 2 but i'll use it

I would love it if it was a proper backwards compatibility app

Don't get me wrong the BC Program is awesome but there are SO many OG XBOX and 360 missing from it

Not every games needs to be upscaled like in the BCP and a simple emulator app that lest us run any XBOX and 360 game would be fine

Although maybe i just want that as now both my PS3 and 360 are dead and i have games from that gen i would love to replay

And i know i could buy another but this is the 3rd PS3 and 5th 360 to die on me and i don't want to waste anymore money (oddly no issues with any other old system just that gen 🤔)

YouTube seriously needs to overhaul it's copyright system because the current one doesn't work

Not had that issue thankfully but i did have the disc install issue where it won't install from a disc because the cache is full

Well lets be honest when the guy running the show says something like "you want a xbox you can play offline then buy a 360" you should expect that kind of backlash

Kinda funny though that everything people complained about back then, always online DRM, no used games or gamesharing and requiring a paid subscription to access your games was bad but that's pretty much what gamepass is but that's fantastic 🤔

@Microbius yeah it could, shame the xbox controller doesn't have a built-in mic like the PS5 because that could be used to great effect in this game

Square have really been shooting themselves in the foot lately, first the FINAL FANTASY Pixel Remasters NOT coming to consoles then releasing Kingdom Hearts on Switch as a Cloud only release and now this and while it's not a big issue in what they do as the game is PVE only so it's not "pay to win" as many are saying, the issue is that they specifically said they WOULDN'T do this but they have so they have broken their word

Now i LOVE many Square Enix games and franchises but quite frankly right now it's being run by a bunch of morons

I actually find myself hoping that Sony, Nintendo or MS will buy them out and put them back on track because right now they seem to be heading the way of Konami

I see a lot of people say Sony fanboys are toxic here but quite honestly i see that kind of toxicity in all the fanbases, playstation, xbox, nintendo and even for publishers like capcom or ubisoft for example

It's not just games either, film and t.v are just as bad

I also see some post about how the other sister sites are toxic too (it's why i stopped using push square to be honest) but the thing is having individual sites based around just one of tje platforms unfortunately invites and cultures that kind of thing and the only defense are the mods who act as a shield to remove it

The sad thing is that you can see the seeds of it here in this very comment section, people only saying playstation fans do it while ignoring the fact xbox fans do it just as much is the start of it because you're being blind to the problems in your own house while criticising the exact same problems in the other and the issue will never go away until everyone admits that ALL groups are guilty of it

At the end of the day we are gamers, whatever plastic box we have under our t.v is unimportant all that matters is we play and enjoy the games we love and we should have a safe place to share it

Quick question but in the article you say the game is "to be a reimagining of the previously released Doctor Who: The Edge of Time" but the official blurb says it's a continuation, so which is it?

I can't use VR (well i can but with my damaged eye i can't get the full 3D effect so it's pointless so it would a waste of money) so i never got to other game so it would be nice to know exactly what this is because if it's a sequel then there is also no point but if it's a new version of the same story with extras then it is as this game doesn't need vr

I got a one that was missing from my collection Lego Star Wars III and i got Force Unleashed II to replace my broken PS3 copy but that's it apart from BF2CE, i have it on PS4 but it was from when it was on PS+ so i figured might as well get it while it's cheap so i actually own a copy

Shame i can't transfer all my progress over though but meh

It eas OK, nothing more but i suppose the fact the only games they showed that interested me was Halo and Forza might sour my judgement a tad but i didn't see anything that said "system seller" to me

On a side note the OFFICIAL stream on the official XBOX YouTube page was terrible whoever thought have those 2 idiots talking over everything was a good idea needs a smack in the face, i had to go watch IGN's coverage instead

Yep I'm hyped for it, i love the Halo series it was my main reason for buying the original XBOX

Although i think i'm the only person who seemed to like the Halo 5 campaign 🤷‍♂️

If they had any sense they wouldn't just focus on the current Doctor but have multiple playable Doctors in this game not only would it make for a interesting story but it would also appeal to a larger audience

Plus it would allow different game play elements as each Doctor had their iwn strengths

Honestly not a fan of the rupee, it sticks out far too much, like those horrible digital download banners on Switch games or those exclusive content logos on PS4 games

Of course it could be because this cover is rather bland so it could make it stand out more as there isn't anything else to look at

Also have XB1 and Series X games in the same boxes might cause confusion for some

@gingataisen oh don't get me wrong there were some interesting looking games shown off, some now firmly on my radar such as the aforementioned scarlet nexus but MS were bulling this up as a gameplay blowout but that isn't what we got, what we got was trailers that showed off the in game graphics and various set pieces but we never saw a person sit down with the controller playing any of the games and the last time i checked that's what a gameplay reveal is meant to be

That's why i think it was disappointing

yeah that wasn't gameplay, i'm sure it was in engine but gameplay is actually someone playing the game not a trailer showing in engine footage

they promised us ACTUAL gameplay, that's a person sat down playing the game and we didn't get that, in fact most of the games shown didn't have gameplay just cinematic set pieces

the whole event/stream felt like it missed the mark honestly, i don't know if it's because of the lockdown but they promised us more than they delivered

although the guy using the Series X Fridge pic as a background was brilliant

oh well i have Thursday off so that's handy

Last lego game i played was the force awakens and i stopped playing that when it didn't give me the trophy for finishing level 2 and refused to give it even after redoing it 4 times

That game was broken i swear

i love the Forza series and i can't wait for the next mainline game

it's long over due

@Anguspuss i had a similar experience with my cat and the original model XBOX One, once she discovered that pressing it made a noise she was doing it all the time

Plus being a touch sensitive button she could actually set the thing off bit of a pain when you're playing a game and she turns it off
