Yeah Tetris Effect is absolutely superb.

I think like a lot of people I was quite sceptical of the high praise it got on PS4 last year but it's not really until you play it yourself that you realise just how affecting it is.

Really glad to see the game reach new players on Xbox and Game Pass and the multiplayer modes are great additions too.

@JetSetRennie I had that discount as well but thought it was just because my console came a day late?

I'm really happy with the new Xbox controllers as they are. The improvements over the Xbox One pads are noticeable for me. The triggers feel a lot better and it's just more comfortable to hold

@XBontendo oh it's super easy. As Daniel mentions in the hands on, you just plug it into the back and the games are there ready to start a second later.

Very pricey and a luxury at the moment but I'm already finding mine quite useful. I have my Series X and S set up in different rooms so using this to store games I'll play on both is a big time and storage space saver.

My personal recommendation would still be for people to just use a regular hard drive or SSD and copy over backed up games from there as it only takes a few minutes.

But for those that want the absolute best tech, this definitely works as well as advertised.

I imagine it may come to Game Pass about half way though next year.

I havent got stuck into FM for a few years now so maybe this could be my way back in.

I'm really excited for this and, most importantly, when it comes to console. It'll be a real game changer to try out Game Pass games without a download

Never played a Halo game before but will now finally check out Combat Evolved and see what all the fuss is about

As @Medic_Alert said, I'll almost certainly be choosing resolution over 120 fps options anyway so 4K60 is more than enough (not that every game will even reach that anyway!)

I've finally been playing A Plague Tale the last few days and really enjoying it (if enjoying is the right word for a game like this..)

I've been dipping in and out of Tetris Effect too and wanna check out Planet Coaster as well.

Game Pass continues to deliver.

I'm just saying I find it pretty baffling that anyone is paying upwards of £800 for the Series X now. I'm not knocking the console, I've got one and am enjoying it

Yeah I've noticed a few games it doesn't seem to work on. I feel like there needs to be a better way of showing which games are currently suspended as well.

It's a great feature but it definitely needs a bit of work

I'm enjoying the new consoles but the Xbox Series in particular really isn't worth the cost for upgrade at the moment. It's a massive luxury item at the moment

Mine has been pretty smooth all things considered. My Series X (ordered from Game) came yesterday at about 2pm and the Series S came about half hour ago today from Amazon.

It might be my favourite looking console ever.

Setup was simple, and although there's a little disappointment that the UI is the same (I miss that 'new' feel a little), overall it's nice to have most things just work straight out the gate and already be familiar with the layout.

It's impressive how quickly games are available to start once plugging in an old external drive, and transferring a few over was fast too.

Looking at the Game Pass and EA Play libraries is somewhat overwhelming, but it's not a bad thing to have so much choice!

Neither are next gen optimised, but I'm gonna get stuck into either Hellblade or A Plague Tale later tonight.

EA Play is great. I think every type of gamer is catered for here with surely at least a couple of games of interest.

It's coming between 12 and 4 apparently so could be any time now!

Not expecting it to be as exciting as a typical new console release, but that's fine. Xbox have been refining what they're about for the last few years and it seems positive.

Nice! Also coming to Game Pass through EA Play soon too so should get a further boost of new/returning players

I still don't understand this at all. Why would anyone buy the Xbox One only version?

Does remote play allow OG Xbox and 360 games to be played through it via the Series X/S?

Do we know if they're all playable through remote play as well?

At the moment we can only stream Xbox One games but it'd be awesome if that extended to the whole library.

Seems unnecessary anyway imo and like @Senua said I don't know why it keeps getting put to them.

Once they bring xCloud to other platforms such as iOS, PC and the Xbox consoles themselves, I'm sure it won't be too long after when we'll start to get the streaming stick, tv apps etc.

Not sure how I feel about how reflective the PS5 seems to be as well.

I don't agree with him either here though. Most (if not all?) Xbox games come to PC as well now anyway so they're already built to scale on different hardware.

Also this isn't a new issue either as already mentioned with the PS4 Pro and One X not seeming to cause many problems.

This is the first year in forever that I'm really not interested in the new release.

I played a bit via the trial through EA Play but other than that I won't be buying it unless I get the itch later in the year.

It feels fine but the lack of progress has finally got to me I think. I'm hoping for a proper next gen version next year but don't hold out a great deal of optimism.

3 360s (two dead ones and one that used to be my cousin's)
And I've currently got One X and an S.

I've got a Series X & S ordered so that'll be 10 Xbox consoles by the end of the year!

I trust them here. We've come a long way since the 360 era and I'm still impressed with how quiet the One X is today.

This is the final piece of the puzzle for me (aside from individual game releases)

All 3 of these are decent tbf. Would be cool if they added these to back compat someday.
