@Magabro I'm in Canada so the economy is a bit better. But even here I am shocked some people buy 2 consoles so they can play like the 4-5 games that the other console won't get

My guess is there web browser can access all cloud based sites and it works. I doubt that Xbox spends resources to create app to run direct off the Atari

@LordMonkfish sure I am not gonna respond after this one as said it's impossible to prove one way or the other but as someone who has been on the Xbox platform sense the og Xbox. But it seems to always be the case that an Xbox review is always added a few extra nitpicks as critisim just to lower the scores compared to a PlayStation or very much Nintendo reviews.
Hell even some in the media have called this ***** out in the past but again no way to prove or disprove anything but I am not the only one who thinks this.

@LordMonkfish I know it is a multiplatform game. But sense Xbox bought double fine this was being pushed as close to a Xbox exclusive as possible.
And the Xbox tax is debating and no way to prove or not prove it. As most people in the industry do have there biasim and lean towards a platform hell even IGN and GameSpot breaks people into platform eccentric people.

So if you remove the "Xbox tax" would be around a 9-9.5 which seems pretty solid..

They made the right call. In my eyes, I mean coop for me is the life blood of Halo campaign but they are gonna add it later

@The_New_Butler that is what I am curious with. My guess is this was almost completed a couple of months ago and at that point if it's like the doom rereleases. Can easiy use this as the see we said case by case basis, We are the good guys by giving you this.

My fear is some will take it all games will eventually cone to playstation. Hell alot still think starfield is hitting playstation

@themightyant your not wrong on the good ol days back on og Xbox and PS2 but that hasn't been the way sense the 360. This has been the thing more often then not with here is our road map of stuff to come and add on content. Announced before the game drops. I don't think you can point to gamepass and say look what it's doing.
Hell look at ghost directors cut on ps5 got to buy the game again to get the add on content
Or warzone selling skins for 20 a pop

@Dezzy no alot of stuff is need to know and major Nelson isn't on a need to know for alot of stuff.
I also assume with how leaky Xbox has been like projects 2-3 years out has gotten out. They will clamp down on this stuff even more

@Royalblues it's funny if you listen to Jeff Grubbs podcast and take what he says fact he is pretty much always right on the money.

Problem is people take something he says and cut where he says I don't know but assume xxx and they just pull the xxx part and make headlines out of it

@Snake_V5 most likely because judgement for Xbox is only on series x. Be a bit of work to bring the PS4 verison over at this point when they are heads down trying to finish the next judgement

@Tharsman sorry, I do know they are on Xbox I mean epic signed an agreement with square a few months ago starting with the kingdom hearts games going exclusivy on PC to the epic store.
My guess is the exclusivty deal Sony signed doesn't impact PC platforms

Epic has been signing sqaure exclusives ala kingdom hearts series and the rumour was epic is publishing Alan Wake 2.
So this doesn't mean the titles are coming to xbox

Sense it wasexplained exactly what this was. It wasn't bad but anyone going in figuring it was more of the first show would have been disappointed

It was a really solid show I did mark it a b.. I think just due to the lil at the end with Forza (I get you are show casing that game for this.holiday)

Also is dusk falls dead it's not on any graph they show of upcoming releases

@Chaudy Microsoft just like Sony/ Nintendo considers any game they fund and publish a first party venture. Just look when they show all the studios in any banner it has a slot for global publishing.
As with the logic sense they didn't own them Forza horizon until 4 both state of decays and hell even Ori are not first party titles .

My guess is just a cloud gaming one at either 5-10 a month

@k3lt0n so it depends the way skus work for series x for achievements if it does smart delivever or any type of free upgrade it is one list. If it's seperate for the company to really milk people (nacon looking at you) then will be a brand new list.

If you mean for playstation they don't share any trophy lists even things like borderlands where you can just hit play and unlock any you had before

@The_New_Butler yeah I get that. But outside of say Xbox or PlayStation doing this for there base. It is good for developers. As the extra money does help to pad the game or hell finish it, some companies need the cash infusion to just get a project finished.
I know the developers of unto the end said the money from game pass was one of the only reasons they could finish it in the time they did

@The_New_Butler Xbox does these deals as well. Xbox pushing hard with the gamepass ones.
Look at last year's show which had a bunch of 3rd part gamepass deals/ timed exclusive games

@Cherip-the-Ripper I agreed it's a bit redundant but without for honor this first 2 weeks is light would be 2 games and only one on Xbox.
Could be announced of like hey for honor is the first of all ubisoft back catalog being added to game pass blah blah blah.

E3 2018 when Microsoft announced they acquired 5 studios. It was more that they are in it for the long haul as from 2014 until then there was always talks that Xbox was just gonna go away at the end of the Xbox one generation.

Just never count the smaller indie stuff out some of the most played games on gamepass are the smaller stuff surpisngly

@FatalBubbles it's a bit out of context I agree but you will have your Hali and stuff. But why say force double fine to make something they don't want to. Xbox can go to 3rd party and fill in blanks needed
Also some smaller games do extremely well on game pass to drive subs sometimes as much as the triple a titles. Things like grounded, and decesnders are Doing extremely well on game pass. Do much that the devs of decesnders sign a long term game pass deal that they said you won't see the title leaving game pass for a long long time.
This is just more of relief to hear that companies won't be shoehorned into doing something they don't want to. Like if inxile wants to make a puzzle platformer, Microsoft isn't gonna step in and be like we'll no that's not why we bought you

I'm curious on IGN's official page they list stadia and xcloud.. so does that mean it's gamepass day and date or is it that xcloud is gonna allow games you bought to work remotely as well

@Krzzystuff Xbox didn't run that show twitch did.. Microsoft basically provided the list and out there name on it but it's why it focuses on the streamers not the games.
If you look at there like last 4 e3 confrences Microsoft's gave been just walls of trailers and games which is what I am hoping for just stuff coming in be end of 2021
