Sadly for even on playstation to get the free upgrade such as smart delivery or here is the free next gen it's same platform online ala xbox one to xbox series or ps4 to ps5.

I had to look up who Lorii is.. when I see it's more then a game studio I did a massive eye roll.. my guess it's just a launch event there

@FraserG exactly any smart delivery game technically Is. A full xbox series title itself just you don't have to pay for the next gen version. (Plus a few other things)
To say it will auto move to the internal ssd ... No idea but my guess is it wouldn't

I just find the massive titles that are built to be games as services (outside of the microsoft owned/published ones) have a short term gamepass life. Designed to get the few that have not taken the plunge or sitting on the fence to get a free trial. Then once it is announced to leave they bump sales even more.
Outside of the odd things like descenders where the devs have openly said they renewed there deal for long term because they feel the success on gamepass is helping on outside platforms.
Edit: forgot I mention I do 1000% agree this benefits ubisoft as much or if not more then xbox. Same with the ea play deal as most of both there line ups revolve around add on packs

They had a few prior in gamepass but yeah it's not a common thing. But I suspect like there others it is a short timeframe of like 3 months

Are you saying that more companies will only put a next gen verison on one platform due to financial backing of the platform holder?

@kamalen it's not that hey buy it in ps5 they just don't have the resources to produce a ps5 version and xbox series at the same time.

Like in canada is 599.99 + 15% (my provincial tax) not as bad as turkeys but still not a cheap hobby

@tasuki.. but that's how promotional ties works. So anyone going into a taco bell.. sees a taco bell commerical/ ad is now seeing hey there is a next gen xbox out.. it's dumb but honestly it's how some people find out this stuff that are not hardcore gamers

It hasn't been confirmed but many actual insiders and anaylsts not just youtubers and random people yelling on tweeter confirmed it is 6 months full exclusive then goes to pc and 12 month console exclusive then can go to xbox/other consoles

I said all of them and full exclusives..

But if they do a next gen of say fallout 76 or eso then yes that is what I believe when phil said case by case basis..

I could care less about the disc drive.honesly guy that thing and cut the cost by like 20 bucks IDC.
The main thing is I have a 4k setup that does hdr so why I am going xbox series x

My understanding is deathloop and ghost of Tokyo are timed exclusive.
We are seeing alot of this lately the Xbox showcase was full of timed exclusives.
But Sony had never been shy about exclusive content they pulled a page right out of Don mattricks playbook.
