@Nightcrawler71 I'm around the same level of knowledge really. It's fine. You pick the rest up if you play one or two seasons.

@Fiendish-Beaver If you have zero knowledge it'll take a little while. But it's not a lot to learn to get decent. Just don't worry about defence until you've got the offense down.

You could maybe play a Madden on GP or EA Play to get the grips of the rules and game flow first. (Then switch it up to the trial for this and see how you feel).

@Nintendo4Sonic It's a perfect fit for game pass because it's an acquired taste. That's all that was meant by the statement. Are people really trying this hard to get upset now? I don't get out much, so genuine question.

I won't be changing my review score, just to save anyone the energy of asking me to or enquiring about it.
I reviewed the experience I was given. The end. The microtransactions, I don't understand the need for the greed, but they are completely optional.

And for the love of Master Chief, stop comparing other reviews and other reviewer's opinions of microtransactions in other games to this one.

@Dimey Yep, it's a 10 for me all day (even with the microtransactions). I haven't checked the IGN video or review out yet. It is weird to begin with when you can't lock on, but you don't need it. Not every game needs to play the same would be my resolution mentally to this really.

@VisitingComet1 No, there were no microtransactions or details about them during our playthrough and they are completely unnecessary to enjoy the game. Ignore them.

@JoyfulFire I have explained the 10 in the review. The framerate doesn't change how I feel about it at all. I'm sorry you find it hard to trust but it's just me on my lonesome here playing the games and writing what I thought. There's no agenda.

@Nightcrawler71 I'm not sure ATM tbh, but it does seem as though PS5 is worse from what im gathering. I personally just didn't have any issues that bothered me enough to sully how amazing it is.

@johnK its not like Elden Ring in that regard, it's hard in as much as you need to plan and rest and be prepped for exploring, the action itself is much more regular action RPG difficulty.

@NintendoByNature If you like the first one, you're gonna love this one, it's a big jump.

@Blastfemur I'm not sure I either specified Salem or indicated that I was assuming any sort of historical accuracy. It's just a clichéd horror connection with the region which happens to work really well in fiction.

@Friendly you can feel the redirections in what they were teying to make throughout it, so it ends up feeling like it needed more time even though more time is all it's had. And it still manages to show up lacking in content. Not great.

@Tasuki It can be played in full solo with AI taking the other squad roles, which all works really well, or you can team up with friends/randoms online.

@Ryu_Niiyama Yeah, it's a real odd decision given all the work that's gone in to every other aspect, to then not go that step further and give everyone a choice. Shame. There's no good reason unless it's somehow having a detrimental effect on narrative or mechanics, to not have the choice there.
