@Fenbops Definitely give it a whirl, it's aged really well and it's just a great experience. I reckon it'll suck you in fairly quickly if you give it a chance.
@MaccaMUFC I mean, I did say that in the review. You're either gonna love it or not. It's a light-hearted ribbing of a game I didn't enjoy. Don't worry about it.
@NEStalgia It really is awful. I think if you like the humour it smoothes over this stuff because you want to see what one of your guns says next. It's the most marmite thing I've played in ages.
@themightyant Yeah, I haven't read any other reviews of the game but I disagree completely with the idea it's bad or breaks the characters. There's some cheese and lame lines here and there, it's easy enough to post a video clip and make it look bad, but overall, and when you dig into the social aspect of it and take it as a whole, it's actually a very well written and likeable portrayal of these heroes. You get to know a lot about their personal motivations, and it goes beyond the usual bland smartass quips that we get in some other marvel stuff and even in the movies tbh. It's just good fun, endearing stuff. Of course this is just my opinion.
@Kaloudz There really aren't any scares here beyond the jump scares of the surprise small enemies. It's pretty much all out action for the second half too. It's violent over scary.
@PJOReilly But as far as them attacking goes, it's barely even about that, it's about raking them down and keeping your combo meter going when there's a lull in the action by getting clever with environmental damage. It's absolutely an acquired taste this stuff.
@CunningPig That's 100% a design decision though. It's a good looking game but it's also very knowingly retro arcade stuff. That look, the countless samey baddies, it's an aesthetic choice.
@Titntin It's when you're playing it. The visual cues and setup of the levels, it's very, very old-fashioned. Which is fine. But I'm not giving it high scores for copying ten year old action games. It needs a few tricks of its own in there too, which it doesn't have. It is still fun though. It's throwaway nonsense.
@Sol4ris I mean, I agree with you, but I've been playing fifa forever and never spent a penny on FUT. Still gotta review the rest of the game, which is very good.
@Fenbops Honestly, as long as you know going in its not a AAA experience, it's rough around the edges in cutscenes and has that low budget vibe that all their games do. It's very good, and it gets much better as it goes along. Don't judge it on the opening couple of hours. Have fun!
@Savage_Joe Oh yes, sorry my bad, I didn't read the original question properly! You can play 1v1, team and free for all against bots, just no dedicated single player stuff rn, which is what I was on about.
@UltimateOtaku91 It's surprisingly not that far off it, unbelievably. Feels really good to play, could be an absolute banger if they get the expansion of their roster and stages right.

Re: Review: Hi-Fi RUSH - Tango Gameworks Drops A Beat-Bopping Banger On Xbox Game Pass
I was very close to opting for a 10. Just those handful of very minor platforming annoyances hold it back. What a belter but.

@Amin1998 Not sure about verified but I've been chatting folk playing it on there and apparently it runs perfectly.
Re: Review: Pentiment - Obsidian's Medieval Murder Mystery Is A Game Pass Delight
@somnambulance I mentioned it in the review, it's roughly 20hrs, maybe a bit less depending on how thoroughly you explore. You could do it in 15.
