@KilloWertz Yep, if you take a look at the pics you can see the LB and RB now have textured grip where the OG doesn't. Also, the main grips at the sides are rubberised now, so they're better than the plastic texture grip of the default pad.
@NickramCTID The Steam user reviews are in a state I believe, It's a great game though, regardless of whatever is going on over there to have it dragged down.
@Lavalera I think if you take your time there's tons to love here. I hope folk give it a chance for a few hours and see the combat as a small part of the overall picture.
@Romans12 I wouldn't say it's any harder, not noticeably so at least. Definitely not an issue, or anywhere near Souls. You should breeze through most bosses too as they're not really designed to be huge barriers.
@gravelmonkey If you can beat him there's nothing anywhere near that level until quite far in. It's defo an early spike, but second phase just block all his attacks and yeah, you gotta nail the timing on the red attac deflections. Once you've got that down he's toast.
@Magabro He's defo tough but once you learn the deflection timing of his big attack he's pretty simple. First phase you can just rush him and attack, build up your gauge and spirit attack him repeatedly. Second phase, steer clear and let him pull out his big red attack, then deflect it for big damage. Just takes a little patience to learn the timing. All his other attacks can be blocked in phase two.
@Kaloudz I'd same I'm fairly decent at Soulslikes having beaten all of FromSoftware's previous games. This one has a few difficulty spikes along the way, nothing insurmountable or on a par with some of the big bosses in Dark Souls or Sekiro. But for the most part I found it all quite forgiving for the genre. The morale system and recruits really do help out when you're stuck.
@Fenbops Definitely give it a whirl, it's aged really well and it's just a great experience. I reckon it'll suck you in fairly quickly if you give it a chance.
@MaccaMUFC I mean, I did say that in the review. You're either gonna love it or not. It's a light-hearted ribbing of a game I didn't enjoy. Don't worry about it.
@NEStalgia It really is awful. I think if you like the humour it smoothes over this stuff because you want to see what one of your guns says next. It's the most marmite thing I've played in ages.
@themightyant Yeah, I haven't read any other reviews of the game but I disagree completely with the idea it's bad or breaks the characters. There's some cheese and lame lines here and there, it's easy enough to post a video clip and make it look bad, but overall, and when you dig into the social aspect of it and take it as a whole, it's actually a very well written and likeable portrayal of these heroes. You get to know a lot about their personal motivations, and it goes beyond the usual bland smartass quips that we get in some other marvel stuff and even in the movies tbh. It's just good fun, endearing stuff. Of course this is just my opinion.
@Kaloudz There really aren't any scares here beyond the jump scares of the surprise small enemies. It's pretty much all out action for the second half too. It's violent over scary.
@PJOReilly But as far as them attacking goes, it's barely even about that, it's about raking them down and keeping your combo meter going when there's a lull in the action by getting clever with environmental damage. It's absolutely an acquired taste this stuff.
@CunningPig That's 100% a design decision though. It's a good looking game but it's also very knowingly retro arcade stuff. That look, the countless samey baddies, it's an aesthetic choice.
@Titntin It's when you're playing it. The visual cues and setup of the levels, it's very, very old-fashioned. Which is fine. But I'm not giving it high scores for copying ten year old action games. It needs a few tricks of its own in there too, which it doesn't have. It is still fun though. It's throwaway nonsense.
@Sol4ris I mean, I agree with you, but I've been playing fifa forever and never spent a penny on FUT. Still gotta review the rest of the game, which is very good.

@BlackMayge How dare you disagree with my score.
Re: Review: Hi-Fi RUSH - Tango Gameworks Drops A Beat-Bopping Banger On Xbox Game Pass
I was very close to opting for a 10. Just those handful of very minor platforming annoyances hold it back. What a belter but.

@somnambulance I mentioned it in the review, it's roughly 20hrs, maybe a bit less depending on how thoroughly you explore. You could do it in 15.
