@JoyfulFire: According to PSNProfiles data, the game ranks ninth among the most popular titles (of the week), with only 1,565 recent players, which is below expectations for a AAA game recently added to the service.
Furthermore, analytics indicate that "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" failed to rank among the top ten most-played games on PlayStation Plus, despite being free for subscribers.
These results suggest that, despite being available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers, the game hasn't generated significant interest among players.
And what's worse, it was added four months after its release! Too bad for everyone who paid €80 for this woke game that no one wants, except for "gamers" who have never played a true dark fantasy game, which DAV is no longer.
Certainly, there are games for all tastes, but with this game we hit rock bottom, on all points of view. The numbers don't lie anyway, it's a deserved flop for E.A. (and "a certain" Corine Busche, fired at the same time)
It appeals to me with its Bioshock style (and not Fallout), but as with every release, I'll wait six months or more to play it, until it's truly "GOLD"...
And to support Rebellion, I'd rather buy it than line the pockets of Microsoft shareholders.
This ELITE is clearly not worth the asking price. I still much prefer my Razer Wolverine Ultimate, which I've owned for six years, has thousands of hours on the clock, and has never let me down. Well, yes, there was a manufacturing defect when I bought it, but the customer service exchanged it within 48 hours.
And in the future, it will be a SCUF. But certainly not a €200 Microsoft controller.
And this little indie game is ahead of AC Shadows in terms of sales on Steam... ask yourself the right questions about Ubisoft and its "player count" spiel.
Game Pass and Microsoft are busy slowly killing video games. And I say that even though I was a subscriber for over five years, thanks to various promotions. Today, if I really like a game and want to support the developer (and not Microsoft's shareholders), then I buy it! Just like we used to. Except I don't buy them on Xbox anymore.
I won't buy anything from them again, consoles or games: it's over for me. I've supported them since the first Xbox, I have hundreds of games (in boxes) at home, but since buying my Series X, I no longer buy any recent games. I mainly use it to replay old, excellent backward compatible games.
If their games are everywhere in the future, the Xbox will follow the same path as the Dreamcast, and therefore, SEGA: Microsoft will be nothing more than a game publisher, nothing more.
It seems like subscription services are used to add games that have recently failed. DA Veilguard has been royally avoided by everyone on PlayStation, even free ones, and rightly so. Adding it to Game Pass won't change the fact that this game is very bad.
The bad faith on this site is quite alarming. And Purexbox seems just as sold out as most of the other major media outlets! Zero credibility. Take off your blinkers, this game is and will be a monstrous flop for Ubisoft.
And just because we like eating ***** doesn't mean it's good!

@JoyfulFire I'm not making this up, sometimes you have to open your eyes and face reality.
