@Fiendish-Beaver it depends what state you’re in. Different states have different tax rates as far as I understand.

Devs haven’t had S2 dev kits for long so are no doubt still getting to grips with how to get the most from the system. Typically you’ll see the best looking/performing games towards the end of a generation.

Meanwhile ShiftUp gifted their employees a PS5 and switch 2 while Round8 gifted 2 weeks holiday, $7k cash and a switch 2.

Seeing as console generations are seeing massive diminishing returns between new generations now I’d rather wait another 5-8 years for new consoles.

One other thing to consider if MS bring halo/cod6 to switch 2 (and any other fps for that matter) is the possible joycon “mouse” control.

That’s not confirmed but if switch 2 supports that control type it could end up being the best place to play any fps.

It isn’t confusing is just MS being sneaky as usual with their wording:

“we can confirm that the delay is not due to Xbox platform limitations that have been raised to us”

The keywords here are “that have been raised to us” meaning the devs haven’t made known issues with series S development, not that there aren’t any. The fact they added a line also about “other platform holders” blah blah makes it seem like there was a PS deal.

This is deceitfully clever wording.

Kudos to Ben for sticking to his guns with his score. It must be easy to be tempted to just add a 9 simply because it’s an Xbox title and everyone else has.

@Banjo- I doubt Sony would make a proprietary handheld like the vita again.

After the success of the switch it’d bet it would be more along the lines of combining with the home console or playing ps4/5/6 games via download. Probably similar to Xbox’s.

I think this makes sense with MS already having two tiers of console power in X/S. A third would be too confusing.

Xbox are advertising? Whatever next!?

So… make acquisitions, close studios, lay people off and then repeat?

Why not keep the teams you already paid for?

I’m excited to see what this is but at the same time MS are masters of PR.

I’m not sure we’ll ever see a leap like we did, for example, between SNES and PS1 again.
