Bummer. I was going to buy this today had the reviews been good. Hopefully it comes to Game Pass.

@Grumblevolcano I do have a TV with 120hz and I still think boosting from 30 to 60 is way more exciting than 60 to 120. I cant even really tell a difference between 60 and 120.

@FraserG How are they not getting an automatic ban? Who cares about the fanboy *****. They both made vile xenophobic comments about people from developing countries. My favorite thing about this site is that it is very well moderated but I don't know if that is true if you cant take a hard stand against hateful language.

As an American it is very shocking to see my language censored by a website from the UK. I thought we were more prudish.

@Mamabear that is pretty much exactly how I felt about a lot of the game. Things like the hard to master double jump we’re frustrating until I realized it was intentional because In the game I’m working for a ***** company that gave me ***** equipment.

@Mamabear I beat it a couple days ago and never came across a map. There are visor upgrades to help with collectibles though I only played for the campaign so I'm not sure how good they are.

The games shown as a whole bested anything I have ever seen in a Nintendo Indie World presentation but I had to stop watching at some point and wait for the round ups because it was so boring to watch.

@Xiovanni I'm actually excited that their past experience is in melee based games. The initiative said that they want to gameplay to be genre agnostic so they need people with a background in making amazing melee combat based games.

@everynowandben I wish publishers were more transparent about planned next gen upgrades. There are like 25 games in my backlog I am avoiding like RDR2 and AC Odyssey in hopes of a future upgrade.

@gollumb82 I'm in the same place. I have way too many games to play so most things I buy go straight to the backlog. But it doesn't feel like a cure. I want that sweet serotonin from buying new games.

I swap between games a lot so I’m loving. It’s actually become the default in my mind. When I play on Switch/PS5 I’m momentarily confused by the game booting up when I switch back to a game I had played recently or even when I just boot a game after turning on the console. I just expect games to be in a suspended state at all times.

It will happen the year after Microsoft finally has a few exclusive bangers so probably 2023 or 2024 depending when games like Starfield, Avowed, Fable, Everwild, Gears 6, Forza, and Hellblade arrive.

@Reverandjames You're absolutely allowed to have an opinion but that does not shield you from criticism. I'm just sharing my opinion that your opinions make this community a worse place to be. Not because you're critical but because you're ***** talking. But people like you are the reason ignore buttons exists so problem solved.

@Reverandjames I legitimately don't care about your criticism. It's just that this is normally one of the few joyous video game communities I engage in and you're here mucking things up with nothing but super negative comments. If there is nothing about the expensive Xbox makes you happy sell it and buy something that will make you happy. If you're going to be in this community and genuinely are trying to find things you like then engage with the stuff you do like rather than spamming the comments with ***** talking everyone else's fun.

@Reverandjames I just read through your comment history and I suspect you don't own an Xbox and you're just here to talk ***** but if you do own an Xbox you should definitely sell it and leave this site because the whole thing seems to be making you super unhappy and no one needs your negativity on every article.

Other: Size! By comparison the old controllers now feels bulbous in my hands.

Am I just lucky or does GP get better for everyone each month? They always add more games I want to play than they remove.

@Menchi the value of games I have completed on Game Pass this year is over $400(counting sale prices not even full price) and the subscription has cost me $88. You’re definitely wrong about GP.

I’ve never played Gears so I’m going to play 4 on my One S the week before then play 5 enhanced and the Series X in order to see the full impact of the transition.

If your white controller is getting discolored that is a you problem that has nothing to do with the durability of white electronics. COVID is still out there wash your hands right.

@themightyant I am half way through and I have a very similar assessment. I don’t personally want multiple play throughs but I definitely think I would appreciate the game more in the end if I had the time to replay levels and build up my combat skills. I’m still having a blast just trying things out and doing my beat to increase variety but I wish I could take a little more time. That being said arcade and action games are not my favorite genres so I’m not too upset by having to rush through. I would not have played the game if not for Game Pass so overall I’m happy with the experience. Another week or so would have been perfect.

Totally agree that it would be great if they gave us expiration dates. The only thing I don’t like About Game Pass is the pressure I feel to complete games on Game Pass. Unfortunately I don’t think it will change. I’m sure Microsoft loves that I keep neglecting my backlog because I feel pressured to play Game Pass.

@themightyant I wish they gave us more than two weeks of warning. DMC is short enough and I have time so I started and will finish but for most games that are leaving it is unrealistic to beat them in two weeks.
