As I have my Xbox One, that's great news!!

That's the pre-historical essence that still pops up from many people's core. They gotta fight, they gotta show their side, they gotta mark their territory and it doesn't matter if they make use of noises, blood or pee for that. Sports fans take the same path. That's pretty unfortunate and causes all sorts of problems.
I just try to get the best of both worlds (Microsoft and Nintendo, in my case) and I'm happy both companies just focus on gaming and leave teasing and bad jokes aside

The Ori games are so good and gave me so much fun that I'll get WOTW for this price, even though it'll probably never leave Game Pass

I was gonna get Legend of Kay but I'm not anymore. Didn't know it wasn't backwards compatible

@tudsworth I don't mind having both. They're both great racing games

I just don't think this price for AST is that good... At least considering what the exchange rate is for me these days

Man, that's such a great list to show a part of what this great service offers us. More interestingly, there's a little for everyone, all styles, some great quality titles, a bunch of AAA titles along with well reviewed indie titles. I can definitely say the money I spend on GP every month has been some of the best investment I've made in my three decade gaming life

Ori gave me not only some of my best gaming moments of the year, but of all time. Everything looks, sounds and plays so beautifully that it oozes love

Now I'm playing Dragon Quest XI and I can say I'm totally immersed into it. I'm not playing anything else (yeah, I'm the kind of person who plays several games at the same time). The characters are great, story is really good, great soundtrack and if you wanna take a shot, choose the Japanese voices because the acting is superb!

It's safe to say @FraserG and the whole team have been doing a great job. I visit Pure Xbox every day and feel comfortable to leave my comments here often because the community is really nice. And let me admit this is one of the only two sites I usually comment on. Keeping a great community is a huge pro!
And I'm really glad you're saying 2020 has been a successful year for PX. Keep up the good work you've been doing!

Let's remember there are investors, a bunch of them, behind a high budget game like this. I don't think this is all the company's money, even though they've made a lot of money with their good past releases. Please, correct me if I'm wrong

Investors don't accept being fooled or misled. These are the guys behind the lawyers in this case. And although it can make things really bleak, they're not to blame for this time

Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair is one the best games I've played this year. A great game with superb level design, a very well crafted overworld and tons of items to collect! I totally recommend it

@Scenes Yeah, it happens to me, too. I usually quit everything but I've been getting some ridiculous download speeds recently. So ridiculous that I have to start downloading a game around 10 pm, go to sleep and then pray the next morning it will have been downloaded

And it's not an issue with my internet connection, since my wife and I are working from home and making video calls at the same time all day long. Internet connection is ok here

Well, Dragon Quest 11 is waiting for me.

And I'm playing some quick fun matches with Clubhouse 51 and Chess Ultra

I'm gonna preload it and dive into it tomorrow! I've had a lot of fun with 2 DQ titles on the DS, but I'm not an expert at jrpgs, so it's good to know it includes a beginner-friendly approach too

I got this one for my Switch. It's good to see it available for as many platforms as possible. The PD series deserves all love!

Panzer Dragoon Orta is also a great choice on Xbox through RC.

And I know it's not gonna happen but I'd love to see Panzer Dragoon Saga getting this remake treatment

Celeste is an excellent game!!! Maybe the only reason it hasnt got more than 50% of votes is because it's been available everywhere for a long time, so most people have known and played it by now. I hope more people get to know and love it. It's a "rare" game. One which deserves all the praise it has gotten

Sim racers put me off, but arcade racers are my kind of racing games. With the good reviews it's been getting, I'll have no other option but to take a closer look at this one. There's been a great offer of arcade style racers recently like Hotshot Racing, Horizon Chase Turbo, then there's the classics available on Switch (out run, virtual racing) and there's even 80s Overdrive, which got much better after its recent update

Well, that's the first time since I've had my Xbox One that I'm interested three out of the four games offered. Pretty good selection this time. I'm gonna start with Aragami!

@Lupaie79 you're right. When people think of Rare, Banjo and Conker, maybe that's Playtonic they should be thinking about. A big part of the old Rare feeling is there. A partnership could be a step in the right direction

This weekend I'll be focused on Super Mario Sunshine. Guess I'll have no time to play anything else

Here in Brazil Series X will cost around $910 USD (pre-order price on Amazon, tax included) and that alone was enough to make it a distant dream to me. Series S is around $560, which is expensive, but more affordable and a weaker machine...

@joey302 I didnt know it was on Netflix but now that you've mentioned it, it's in my list. Thanks for the tip. Maybe this weekend I'll watch it. Nice to see this kind of option on Netflix

@FraserG I used to do it manually until I had a problem with Fable. It is still shown as a "Game Pass" game in my library and it's not included in the games I own section. From that point on I've preferred to get the games only when they're shown in the games with gold section

@KelticDevil The best games are definitely the original trilogy. If you don't like them, then I think the series is not for you. Take my advice: don't even bother to play other games in the series. You'll waste your time

@joey302 I access my full library then there's the Games With Gold link on the right. But I can never download the latest GWG games when Pure Xbox says they're available. It takes around 2 or 3 days for them to be available for me, I don't know why

Let's remember there are always three figures we have to consider about a game's length: how long devs say it'll take you, how long How Long to Beat says it'll take you and how long it'll take average gamers.

If a dev says their game will take you 40 hours, then HLTB will show you a 25-30 hour average, but it might take you over 50, considering how many times you'll die, how long you'll waste looking for where to go next, etc.

The number they give you doesn't really mean that much...

Every time he opens his mouth, Sony gets one more negative mark. I understand there are "strategies" involved in the way he talks and in the things he says but there was a time when guys in his position spoke and people took it as the truth. Now people have information available a click away. Who will believe him after so much bs he's been spitting out?

After beating Hollow Knight at 90% and seeing the worst ending, I've stopped playing it for some time. Time to play something else. Some parts of that wonderful game are just too hard. But I'll get back to it in a month or so.

I've (re)started playing Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One. I love it!

And I'm starting Super Mario 64 from SM3D All Stars on Switch. Time to relive some wonderful memories!

And I'm occasionally playing a DKC level or two to get 101% again after so many years.

I'm a Crunchyroll subscriber and I think a partnership between them could be good. CR needs a lot of improvement in their streaming and platform quality. Maybe (and IF) there's an optimized CR app to be used on the Xbox, it can help make things better. But I'm not gonna dream about having CR for free just because I'm a Game pass ultimate subscriber....

@FraserG only 3 or 6-month subscriptions. I couldn't find 12-month ones

Brazil is really struggling due to currency issues. The increase is gonna be R$ 5 here, which is a little less than a dollar. The service is incredible and it's totally worth it in my opinion. It's still cheap given what it offers

Nintendo, on the other hand, increased considerably Brazilian eshop games. Some of them went up around 9 or 10 dollars. That's too much. I won't pay that much for new games. Xbox store is much cheaper. There's no comparison between them in terms of prices

I'll get Beyond Good and Evil and Monopoly. And maybe it's time to buy my first soccer game after more than 10 years. The last one I bought was a PES game for the Wii LOL. Fifa is so cheap that if I play just some matches, it's gonna be worth its price

New super lucky's tale and battletoads are the next game pass games I'm gonna play. Right now I'm immersed in Hollow Knight, also on Game Pass, but I'm looking forward to playing the other two

I'm still delving into Hollow Knight. I've played it for over 40 hours and still trying to 100% it

I'm always like "Nah, I have bought plenty already. I'll never catch up." Next week "Just this one." The following week: "I was wainting for this deal..." The thing goes on and on and on

My weekend will be dedicated to Hollow Knight. I've put around 20 hours in it and I still have some more to go.

In the meantime, I'm downloading Battletoads and New Super Lucky's Tale to play after HK.

I was playing Super Lucky's Tale this week and I had a question on my mind all the time: "Why doesn't this camera fully rotate??" Maybe upgrading to the new version might be worth it for this feature alone

I could say all 3 games are great additions! I'm interested in The Touryst and F1. I enjoy the first Yakuza game, so maybe I'll take a look at it after I finish Ori and the Will and the Wisps to 100%. It's just impossible to play any other game now!!

I have the original version and even the basic version is a great game!
It's a great option for those who are into 3d platformers. I really like it!
